The aim of this diploma work was to obtain a review of the appeal process in Sweden under the Planning and Building Act and the possibilities of appeal in the planning and building permit process. The work was intended to identify potential problems surrounding the appeal process and possible efficiency measures. The goal was to form a report that provides a satisfactory overview of the appeal process in theory and practical application as well as provide relevant concrete proposals on how the appeal process can be streamlined.Background and facts surrounding the work were taken from different types of literature and through several interviews with representatives in government, industry and politicians.The main problems related to the appeal process are in the long processing times and the high number of appeals. There is a great interest to streamline the appeals process and the government is going to launch studies in which possible future actions will be investigated.It is possible to appeal for up to two instances before you need a so called ?leave to appeal? in order for your complaint to be passed on to the next instance.

In Sweden, prostitution is politically defined as a social problem, more precisely, as a form of male violence against women. The definition is distinctly manifested in the government bill Kvinnofrid, characterised by the unique Swedish law that prohibits the purchase of sexual services.This thesis examines how the Swedish solutions of prostitution are carried out. By interviewing central actors working with prostitution in different ways we aim to answer the question: What measures are taken to decrease prostitution and what implications does the Swedish solution have?The analysis is divided into two parts. First, we analyse the concrete measures taken against prostitution ? what is done, how, and why? Second, we analyse the complexity of prostitution measures by applying complementary analytical perspectives: the symbolic and the discourse perspective.The study shows that measures taken to decrease prostitution vary and depend on individual actors? understandings of the political definition.

In order to broaden the understanding of work motivation the aim of the study was to compare how three different teams within the same organization constructed motivation. The three teams consisted of post sorters, team leaders and mailmen. Three focus group interviews were conducted with three men and eight women. The interviews were transcribed verbatim and thematically analysed with QSR NUD*IST. The result showed both similarities and differences in the construction of work motivation in the three teams.

This bachelor?s degree project in social anthropology examines how teachers and school staffin grades 7-9 navigate between relationship-building work and the maintenance of authority.By studying interactions in both classrooms and informal environments, such as corridors andcommon areas, the study highlights how these dimensions take shape in concrete everydaysituations. The aim is to deepen the understanding of how teachers in practice balance thedemands for closeness and trust against the need for order and boundary-setting. The mainargument of the thesis is that relationship-building and authority do not constitute opposingpoles, but are closely intertwined practices that are constantly shaped and negotiated througheveryday micro-actions. This balancing act, described through the concept of ?hugs withboundaries?, is deeply situational and requires staff to continuously adapt their approachaccording to the specific situation and student group.

The importance of energy- and environmental issues has increased, and the work towards reducing carbon dioxide emissions plays a major part. The European Union has set up goals for the membership countries to work towards this to happen. The carbon dioxide emissions in Sweden have been reduced the last few years, but there is still a lot to do. About 30 per cent of Sweden?s carbon dioxide emissions generate from energy usage related to housing, this is why the housing sector is of interest to examine.

Övergången mellan projektering och produktion har identifierats som en synnerligen komplicerad övergång inom byggprocessen, där många aktörer lämnar projektet och nya tar över. Av den anledningen är det av betydelse att de handlingar som projektören lämnar vidare till entreprenören är av god kvalitet för att undvika missförstånd ute på byggarbetsplatsen. De fel som förorsakas vid projekteringen anses vara de fel som orsakar de största felkostnaderna inom ett byggprojekt och som dessutom leder till kvalitetsbrister i anläggningen. Våren 2014 kom Svensk Byggtjänst ut med sin rapport Besparingsmöjligheter genom effektivare kommunikation i byggprocesser, i vilken det konstateras att den bristande kommunikationen fördyrar byggprojekt med 32 miljarder kronor per år. Vidare förklaras att den tydligaste orsaken till den bristande kommunikationen är otydliga handlingar och anbudsunderlag. Med utgångspunkt i arbetets problemområde är avsikten att genom aktörernas olika perspektiv belysa problematiken med bristfälliga handlingar och anläggningar för att undersöka om det finns samband. Samt försöka utreda vad som avses med god kvalitet gällande handlingar och anläggningar. Vad är definitionen av god kvalitet gällande handlingar? Vad är definitionen av god kvalitet gällande anläggningar? Vilka fel eller brister anses vara vanligare i handlingar? Finns det samband mellan handlingars och anläggningars kvalitet? Litteraturstudie ligger till grund för arbetets frågeställning.

One of the aims of this report has been to make an inventory of the building trade market to see which document handling systems that are available. The secondary aim was to document the users´ demands on the systems and other demands such as quality assurance. After this, the document handling systems Byggnet and Lotus Notes, which are rather complex systems, have been analysed. Finally a recommendation has been made. In the inventory of the marketthe internet has been used because it is there the latest information can be found.

Aim: The main purpose of this thesis was to investigate how the employees experience theinternal communication and to examine the channels they communitace trough betweenthe departments at Blå Stället in Sweden. This task was given by the unit chiefs at thecompany who?ve seen a need to investigate and improve their internal communication.The goal is therefore also to produce concrete and well-founded proposals on how theinternal communication can bee improved at Blå Stället. Relevant Theoretical frame ofreference was internal communication, information, communication channels, formaland informal communication. To collect data from employees I made six interviews,one from every department and two informers.

Idag, nästan 150 år senare, har Sandvik AB 44 000 anställda och är verksamma i 130 olika länder världen över och har en omsättning på närmare 72 miljarder SEK. (Sandvik) Sandvik är indelat i tre olika affärsområden: Sandvik Tooling, Sandvik Materials Technology och Sandvik Mining and Construction, vilket också är det område detta examensarbete berör. En del av produktionsberedningen av produkterna, CAM-beredningen, är att skapa de verktyg som produkten i fråga skall bearbetas med. Verktygen hämtas i dag från olika platser (databaser, mallar) och används sedan i beredningen för att simulera bearbetningen av produkten.

This thesis presents a new way of providing library users with reference services, namely chat (text based digital reference service in real time). Our research questions focus on the role of reference service, a comparison of chat reference to other reference forms, and the interest for real-time, digital reference. Our literature review covered the areas of digital reference and reference theory, the results of which showed that an ongoing debate hardly exists among Swedish librarians on the topic of reference work. We interviewed librarians from the three different Swedish chat reference projects existing at the time of our study. Most interviewees were very positive about chat reference.

Husgrunder stödjer hela hus och ska vara stadiga nog för att ta upp husets vikt och bära byggnaden imånga år utan att drabbas av problem orsakade av bland annat fukt och tjäle. Det finns tregrundkonstruktionstyper som tas upp i detta arbete. Dessa är: platta på mark, krypgrund ochplintgrund.Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka konstruktion och funktion för de tre grundkonstruktionerna.Arbetet redovisar också vilka grunder som är förekommande vid nybyggnation av småhus i Örebrolän, samt hur olika aktörer inom byggbranschen motiverar sina val med avseende på risken förfuktrelaterade problem.Inom detta examensarbete redovisas resultat från intervjuer med ett antal olika byggnadsaktörersom bygger med olika typer av grundkonstruktioner. Information har samlats in genom intervjuermed sakkunniga samt egen teorifördjupning i litteratur för grundkonstruktioner. Utifrån syftet medarbetet har teorin och resultaten från intervjuerna sammanställts.Platta på mark med underliggande isolering är den grundkonstruktion som framförallt väljs vid valav grundkonstruktion för nybyggnationer av småhus i Örebro län.

Sandvik Mining and Construction Köping AB är i startfasen när det gäller förbättringsarbete och 5S. 5S står för sortera, systematisera, städa, standardisera och se till.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka hur man genomför en förändring på bästa sätt och applicera det på implementeringen av 5S på Sandvik Mining and Construction Köping AB. Målet med examensarbetet är främst att göra en nulägesbeskrivning samt utveckla och arbeta efter framtagen arbetsmodell.

The aim of this study is to analyze how problems are represented within SOU 2008:27. Further more, the aim is to analyze how the new subject plan for history can bee seen as a product of this document. The method used, and the theoretical frame of the study, is based on Carol Lee Bacchi?s ?what´s the problem represented to be?? approach, which basic principle is that policies are filled with representations of problems and that these representations need to be examined. These problem representations are then themselves subject for scrutiny, the second step being an analysis of the texts presumptions and assumptions concerning view of man and perception of knowledge. The results show, among other things, that a problem representations can be found in the SOU; the school system is too vague and unclear.
