The report contains a survey on telecommuting in nature and how concepts around that information could look like. The client for the project is Lars Sandberg, Dotank AB in Karlstad. The project is implemented in the course Bachelor of Science in Innovation and Design, MSCG22 of the faculty of health, science and technology at Karlstad University in the spring of 2014.Working flexibly and remotely in the so-called knowledge based professions is growing. That nature is an important source of recovery is a fact. The literature search in this report shows that there are factors that create both physical and psychological stress on most office workers while nature is a source of recovery and inspiration.

This report covers the conceptual design of a new one person hybrid vehicle that is to be fast and convenient to drive on the roads. The vehicle is most of all supposed to be used as a commute vehicle but can also be used at other occasions as well.During the work with this project the group has focused on three larger areas, the outer design (body), wheel chassis and an ergonomically designed interior. The group was not able to just create these parts in 3D to get a trustworthy vehicle, hence number of other components and details were also created to get a better entirety.The outer design starts with idea generation and sketches and ends with a 3D model which is rendered to show how the final product is going to look. The design of the body has been going on during the entire work process due to new ideas and improvements that seemed interesting and had to be changed.The wheel chassis also started with idea generation, research and sketches. It ended up with a simulated 3D model which later on was mounted on the vehicle body to show how the vehicle is going to perform during usage.

Syfte: Att undersöka om riktlinjer för hälsofrämjande trädgårdar och takträdgårdar kan mötas i ett gestaltningsförslag till en atriumgård på ett sjukhustak, riktad till patienter och personal i anslutning till en avdelning för personer med bipolär sjukdom.Bakgrund: Hälsofrämjande trädgårdar anses kunna vara ett komplement till traditionell vård och kan främja den fysiska, psykiska och emotionella hälsan. Många städer har under de senaste årtiondena blivit mer kompakta och gröna ytor har försvunnit. Med takträdgårdar kan man utnyttja platser som redan finns i staden genom att omvandla dem till gröna ytor. Sjukhus är ofta byggda på höjden, inte sällan finns tak och atriumgårdar inritade i arkitekturen, dessa platser har potential att nyttjas av patienter, personal och närstående om de utformas för att bli gröna hälsofrämjande miljöer.Metod: Vetenskapliga artiklar, böcker och annan litteratur inom områdena hälsofrämjande trädgård, bipolär sjukdom och takodling, takträdgård, tillsammans med enkät till avdelningen och inspirationsresor till atriumgård och takodling har använts som stöd för att skapa ett gestaltningsförslag.Resultat: Detta arbete visar på vilka komponenter som bidragit till att det går att förena riktlinjer för hälsofrämjande trädgårdar med riktlinjer för takträdgårdar. Ett gestaltningsförslag har utformats efter dessa riktlinjer, platsens förutsättningar och delvis efter målgrupperna.

I en rapport från 2005 framtagen av FoU-Väst i samverkan med Centrum för management i byggsektorn (CMB) konstateras att en betydande del av allt slöseri i byggsektorn är kopplat till fel och konsekvenserna av dessa, med andra ord felkostnader. Studien visar att felkostnader står för cirka 10 % av ett projekts produktionskostnad.   Byggsektorn står nu, år 2012, inför förändringar i sitt arbetssätt för att minska antalet fel, öka kvaliteten och effektiviteten. BIM ? Building Information Modeling, möjliggör ett smartare sätt att skapa, använda och förvalta information genom hela bygg- och förvaltningsprocessen. BIM ger möjligheten att anpassa informationen i varje delprocess och därigenom effektivisera arbetet.

Problem: How is management accounting change understood via the duality perspective in the field of alternative management accounting research?Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to develop a tool for analysis aspiring to provide understanding for how differences and similarities with regards to the duality perspective may have different consequences for understanding management accounting change.Contribution: This paper aspires towards a theoretical contribution through an in-depth review of existing conceptual literature. This is done to gain clarity in definitions and uses of concepts, with related terms, referring or relating to duality. Through clarifying different meanings of duality, consequences for how to understand management accounting change, and the different approaches to using a duality perspective, the tool for analysis which is developed in this essay aims to contribute to a movement of alternative management accounting research towards increased comparability as well as increased insight into how management accounting change is currently understood through this type of research.Method: Literature reviews based on Booth et al.s SALSA-framework. Creation of a tool for analysis for usage when reviewing material based on a duality perspective.Conclusions: The duality perspective differs, and affects understanding of management accounting change, in accordance with the following five themes:Theme 1: The duality perspective is affected by differences in the use of definitions/descrptions.Theme 2: The duality perspective is affected by different purposes of the agent and different credit given to the agents power/ability to alter change.Theme 3: The content of the duality perspective is affected by the existence and purpose off being inspired by different theoretical approaches.Theme 4: The duality perspective affects the idea and understanding of the form and expression/process of management accounting.Theme 5: Different duality perspectives have the ability to lead science against increased pluralism and/or synthesisIn order to increase understanding for and comparability between scientific contributions through a duality perspective there is to some extent a need for more and better definitions and a more problematizing when combining theoretical approaches.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka om koloniträdgårdar läcker näringsämnen till Drevviken i Stockholms län. Underlaget till studien kommer från en kvalitativ intervju med tre representanter från Miljöförvaltningen i Stockholms stad samt litteraturstudier.Resultaten visar att det föreligger problem med att kolonister använder sig av egna avloppslösningar vilket inte är tillåtet enligt arrendeavtalet. Stockholm stad står fast vid att indraget vatten fortsättningsvis inte ska få förekomma trots att ansträngningar gjorts från Skarpnäcks stadsdelsnämnds sida med att utforma bra avloppslösningar för kolonistugor. Dessa avloppslösningar arbetades fram under två år genom projektet Möjlighet att anordna avlopp inom delar av Listuddens koloniområde. Den enda åtgärd som idag tillämpas är att arrendeavtalet ska följas eftersom problemet med näringsläckage från kolonistugor då inte längre skulle vara ett problem.

The aim of this study is to describe and examine the characteristics of inclusion of children with disabilities in the kinder garden and primary school in Belarus. The data in this study were collected through interviews with special teachers and staff at the Developing and Rehabilitation center. The interviews were supported by child-observations and a literature study. Staying in boarding schools prevents handicap students from integrating with the society as well as getting social experience. Integrated education demands the combination of two regularities: education of children with normal development and special education of children with psycho-physiological problems.

The purpose of this study was to find out how young children are allowed to influence and affect their daily lives in preschools, as well as teachers? views on the latter. My interest in this topic is born out of my experience of working with both younger and older preschool children. My view is that democratic work with older children is largely based on direct verbal communication while with toddlers it is based on an adult?s interpretation of a child?s often non-verbal expressions.

The theme of this thesis is citizen participation in the planning- and design process. It turns to everyone that studies landscape architecture or work as landscape architects and I hope that it can function as a ground for discussions as well as a source for inspiration. Rågsved is a suburb south of Stockholm. Just outside the centre of this suburb, a small industrial area called Snösätra, is located. In a few years time the leaseholds for the small industries will expire and the key question is: What will happen then? This is my general concern and it was the main cause for me to start this particular work. How do you attend to a place that appears like blank sheet of paper? To an empty page that can be filled with an infinite number of different formulations.

Recently I discovered that preschool education has evolved from integration of various subject contents and working methods. The purpose of my study is to investigate preschool teachers' attitudes and ways of working with a theme-oriented approach. I also want to examine their opinions regarding the integration of subject content in terms of mathematics and science subjects (NO) in preschools theme-oriented work approach.My questions for this study are:What is a preschool teacher's attitude and their ways of working to a thematic-oriented approach?What is a preschool teacher's opinions regarding the integration of subject content, especially in mathematics and science subjects (NO) in their pre-schools theme-oriented work approach?I have used myself a qualitative method of investigation to produce materials for my research project. I collected my empirical material for my study from the semi-structured interviews that was done with four preschool teachers in two preschools in Botkyrka municipality.

Kevin Roberts has extended the comprehension of strong consumer brands to a higher level where loyalty beyond reason is established. He calls this new status Lovemarks. As the concept of Lovemark has only been applied in B2C markets, this thesis is directed to find out the applicability of Lovemarks in B2B context. In order to fulfill the research purpose, three main questions are answered based on a cross-sectional research approach: What role do intangible factors play in B2B branding? Is the idea of B2C Lovemarks transferable to B2B context? How should a B2B Lovemark be characterized? The results of the qualitative interviews indicate insights of high investment and involvement, integrated brand communication, balance between function versus emotion, brand?s trustworthy personality, customer partnership, and finally, the potential establishment of B2B Lovemarks.

Scientific research shows that humans regain their strength when they are spending time in nature. Ulrich, Kaplan & Kaplan, among others, has shown in their research that nature can reduce stress and decrease the after effects of stress. Lund University Hospital, USiL, is a big working place and has a large number of patients. To be a patient often means that you lose control of your daily life which could cause stress. For the personnel high workload can be a stress factor.

I Stockholm pågår i dagsläget ett stadsutvecklingsprojekt som kallas Norra Djurgårdsstaden, där visionen är att skapa en hållbar och klimatanpassad stadsdel i världsklass. Stockholms stad har valt att bland annat arbeta med olika former av ekologisk dagvattenhantering i projektet, där en av dessa former är regnträdgårdar. Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att ta fram ett gestaltningsförslag för hur dagvattenhanteringen kan lösas med hjälp av regnträdgårdar längs en planerad gata i Norra Djurgårdsstaden. Gestaltningsförslaget baseras på underlag av landskapsarkitektkontoret URBIO, som har erfarenhet av att arbeta med regnträdgårdar. Växter och växtbäddsmaterial är huvudsakligen valda utifrån råd från sakkunniga. För att få förståelse för regnträdgårdens funktion och uppbyggnad gjordes en litteraturstudie i arbetets inledande fas.

Skåne Plantor AB är ett garden center som har vuxit från den lilla växtleverantören till en storskalig växtförsäljning. De importerar växter som sedan säljs direkt till slutkunden och deras närområde inkluderar främst Staffanstorp och Lund. Globaliseringen medför att fler internationella företag kan etablera sig på flera platser i landet. Deras kontaktnät medverkar till att de når ut till fler kunder, och ökar därmed sin omsättning, vilket bidrar till större konkurrenskraft. Det är en stor utmaning för det här familjeföretaget i Staffanstorp att bli lika konkurrenskraftigt.Skåne Plantor AB har idag ett väl inarbetat varumärke, och det ger dem en konkurrensfördel.

Under år 2007 observerades dålig etablering och svag tillväxt hos blålupin i ett odlingssystemsförsök i Bollerup, Skåne. Förfrukten var hampa. I led med sockerbetor som förfrukt var blålupinetableringen god och visade inga tecken på försämrad uppkomst eller tillväxt. Samma iakttagelse gjordes år 2008. En misstanke väcktes då om att baljväxters etablering och tillväxt blir tillbakasatt av att odlas I en växtföljd med industrihampa på grund av dess allelopatiska ämnen.
