The main purpose of this essay is to study ideas concerning the Concept of ?art? within the discourse of the exhibition space that is part of a fanart community. In order to do so I have used a hermeneutical and to some extent structuralistic, discourse analysis. I have examined structure and rhetorics in two established and popular communities, Fanart-Central and deviantART.My conclusions states that personal ideas regarding artistic value are undermined the joint policies, because of a collective rhetoric somewhat inherent in the community structure.When a lot of works are being based on internal knowledge of symbolics and historical narratives, this may to some extent have consequences where unfamiliar observers might fail to notice elements of possible significance. Moreover, certain interests in keeping a united front of ?quality art? may also affect a general idea immediate to what signifies fanart.

As a Swedish landscape architecture student living in Australia for five years, I have often wondered if my memories and my associations with the landscape and the nature in Sweden, are the same as other Swedish people living in Melbourne. Most of the Swedish people who live here in Melbourne remember and associate Sweden?s nature and landscape with where they grew up or where they used to live. The plants that most of the Swedish people I asked missed from Sweden were associated to special feelings or activities. The general type of landscape people remember from Sweden is that of a landscape covered in forests, which you can walk freely through. With these memories as a foundation and with inspiration from the Swedish landscape architect Thorbjörn Anderson?s way of creating places, by letting a few strong changes play against the existing elements,2 but also with consideration of the climate and the severe shortage of water that is current in Melbourne, will I create a design Concept for the garden surrounding the Swedish Church in Melbourne. A design Concept that will generate memories and associations to Swedish landscapes..

This study was built on the Concept of Emotional Intelligence (EI) as an ability with four branches, to effectively: (1) perceive (2) reason (3) understand and (4) manage emotions. By closely studying the four processes of EI through eight semistructured interviews with psychologists, counselors, CBT-therapists and psychotherapists, a study of participants' stories from real practice was done and then analyzed and interpreted. The purpose of this study was to get the participants to describe and put words on practical experiences that occur with clients that correspond to the four domains that define the Concept of EI according to Mayer et al. (2008) and find out about if their way of "doing" EI gets trained and developed after several years of professional activity. The results shows that the practitioners used all four branches of EI in dialog with the client, both intra- and interpersonal.

This thesis work is performed on VSM Group Ltd in Huskvarna that produces sewing machines under the trademarks Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking. On these sewing machines is an application that helps the user to thread the needle. The aim with the work has been to study today's applications on VSM and their competitors' sewing machines in order to since developing a new Needle-threader that divides itself from all the ones used today. The objective with the work has been an entire new Concept with an operational prototype.As a base the competitor analysis was used where today's applications was studied in order to identify positive and negative aspects of these. This led to a number off ?Concept families? where different variants off the same ideas were collected and evaluated.

I have studied how network in a broad sense can affect decision-making. The primary purpose is to see if the political initiative somewhere disappears when it comes to understand the relations between power, actors and politics. The study discuss in a theoretical area that concerns the reliability in neoinstitutionalism to use as an analytical instrument. Some criticism is given to the theoretical standpoint in the sense that there is no power perspective included in the theory. This report describes the results of the project "Concept development of jet engine inspection plugs" carried out in the spring of 2008. The work was done at the department of product definition at the company Volvo Aero in Trollhättan. The objective of the work was to develop Concepts for a "Volvo-unique" inspection plug. The work is part of Volvo Aero's focus on proprietary (self-developed) technologies. Inspection plugs can be found on virtually all aircraft engines and gas turbines.

The Swedish government ratified on May 1 2009 an amendment of marital law, resulting in same-sex marriage becoming legalized. With the rights of the Christian Swedish state church to officiate weddings originating from the same law, the church was thereby faced with two options: Either officially include same-sex couples in the Christian Concept of holy matrimony and keep the right to officiate weddings; or give up the right to officiate weddings altogether. AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

The purpose of this essay was to illustrate professionals? reflections on the Concept early attachment between guardian and infant, within different family support activities, and how professionals encourage early attachment between guardian and infant. The mental health state of infants is an important field of knowledge to explore. Attachment between guardian and infant is of the utmost importance for the development of children. The questions we had were: What contains the Concept early attachment between guardian and infant from a professional point of view? Which factors have influence on early attachment between guardian and infant? How do professionals work with early attachment between guardian and infant? The essay is a qualitative study based on six interviews with two female district nurses, two female social welfare secretaries, a female psychologist and a female social worker.

Denna uppsats syftar till att ta fram ett teoretiskt underlag för hur miljöprojektet CLICC (Climate Living In Cities Concept) i Malmö skulle kunna utvecklas med hjälp av teorier kring de relativt nya begreppen Spelifiering och Captology. Målet är att förbättra den miljökommunikativa processen där de boende i bostadsförening Hilda ska motiveras att minska sina koldioxidutsläpp med 50 procent. Metoden för denna studie utgörs av en kombinerad litteratur- och en fallstudie. Forskningen kring Spelifiering, Captology och miljökommunikation utgör grunden för denna studie. Detta har sedan kompletterats med en intervju där Miljöförvaltningens projektansvarige för CLICC har gett sin bild av projektet och de hinder som existerar. Uppsatsen utmynnar i ett antal teoretiskt grundade förslag som behandlar möjligheten att, med hjälp av Spelifiering och Captology, överbrygga miljökommunikativa hinder och uppmuntra de boende till att både delta i projektet och förändra sin livsstil i en mer miljöanpassad riktning..

Att sociala medier och dess användarantal har ökat avsevärt de senaste åren kan knappast ha undgått någon. I relation till en explosionsartad användning av sociala medier och med den entusiasm som ?The Big Data? har mötts av, har vi observerat ett annat fenomen: konsumenter som hashtaggar sina Instagrambilder med varumärken och produktnamn.

I detta arbete undersöktes och jämfördes begreppskoherens och attityd till fysik bland elever på fysik- respektive naturvetenskapsprogrammet vid gymnasieskolan Polhemskolan i Lund. Begreppskoherensen undersöktes med Force Concept Inventory som är ett omdiskuterat flervalstest från USA som ska mäta studenters begreppskoherens för kraftbegreppet inom den klassiska mekaniken. Eftersom många undersökningar visar att intresset för fysik minskar undersöktes också elevernas attityd till fysik med ett svenskt test av Likertmodell. Undersökningarna gjordes på elever som precis börjat åk 1 och på äldre elever som läst kursen Fysik A inom båda programmen. Resultatet av undersökningarna är att eleverna på fysikprogrammet har större begreppskoherens för kraftbegreppet än eleverna på naturvetenskapsprogrammet och att begreppskoherensen höjs efter Fysik A. Attityden till fysik är dessutom mer positiv på fysikprogrammet men eleverna på naturvetenskapsprogrammet har större spridning i attityd.
