Biblioteket i lärarutbildningen : intervjuer med 13 blivande samhällskunskapslärare
A qualitative study of high school student teachers' ideas about libraries and school libraries.Interviews have been conducted with future teachers about the library's role in their education,their views on library functions in high school and whether they as teachers will use theschool library. The results show that the students have had some instruction concerninghow to use the library as students, but very little as regards their future teaching. The professorsof teacher education focus on the fact that the library should be used in high schoolteaching, not how to use it. Despite this, the student teachers look very positively upon libraries.Libraries play an important part in their education and they are all sure that they asteachers will use the school library, which includes interacting with the librarian. This research shows and analyses how pupils in ninth grade in the nine-year compulsory school look at being multilingual, at the Swedish language and at Swedish as a second language. I also want to know if language and culture knowledge are taken care of in school as it says in official documents for the Swedish school and as it also is desired in an intercultural education. For my research I do eight interviews in a suburb school south of Stockholm.My work includes a limited account for the current research about being multilingual, Swedish as a second language and about the close relationship between language and culture. The applied theory is a social constructivist theory which in short can be explained like that we construct social structures that have consequences on the individual as well as on the society.I show in my research how the view of the world around the pupils influences their view on their languages, their school and their neighbourhood. I also draw conclusions from my interviews that language knowledge is little appreciated in school and that Swedish as a second language has a low status..
Nationellt prov i historia? : förutsättningar och bedömningskriterier för nationellt prov
Syftet är att undersöka hur en urvald grupp ungdommar ser på sitt eget sociala liv på internet.Materialet till arbetet består av 20 semistrukturerade intervjuer med ungdomar i åldrar 17 till 19.Teorin innefattar indentiet och globalisering.Resulatetet tyder på att internet fungerar som en förstärkning av respondenternas befintliga sociala nätverk. Respondenterna är starkt förankrade i deras lokala miljö. Den främst textbaserade interaktion respondenterna bedriver via internet är inget substitut för deras sociala interaktion i den fysiska verkligheten. Internet har erbjudit respondenterna ett träningsfält för deras identitetsutveckling. .
Teknologi, Pedagogik och Ämne : En policystudie om hur nationella mål för IT i skolan transformeras till kommunala IT-strategier
Today there is a large consensus about the importance of Swedish schools providingconditions enabling students to develop the ability to manage and learn through information technologies (IT). The goal of this study was to describe and examine how national education goals for the use of IT transformed into municipal IT-strategies for the school. A content analysis was conducted of thirty-eight municipal IT-strategies collected from Swedish municipal websites on the Internet. The content in the municipal IT-strategies was compared with the content in both the Swedish education act and the national curriculum. The results showed that the content in the Swedish education act and the national curriculum in fact was translated into municipal IT strategies, but that the range of strategies concerning technology, pedagogy and content in relation to IT was broad.

10 years ago the School Library Forum´s core activity started; the development of model libraries. Since then, no comprehensive study of the School Library Forum has been made. How does the organization actually work and how do professionals perceive the changes of the organization? Against this background, the purpose of my essay is to examine the activity of the organization School Library Forum with a focus on organization and learning from the viewpoint of the learning organization. The following issues have been helpful to meet the purpose of the study:? How do the business developer, the principals and the school librarians experience the collaboration on the school-libraries model-library activity?? How does the collaboration contribute to learning within the organization according to the business developer, the principals and the school librarians?? How do the business developer, the principals and the school librarians perceive the changes in the School Library Forum´s organization, seen from the perspective of the learning organization?By conducting five interviews with stakeholders in various positions within the organization, such as business developer, principals and school librarians, a deeper insight into how respondents perceive the business from the perspective of the learning organization is obtained.

Bullying can have serious consequences on everyone involved. Consequently it is important that school counselors are able to intervene. Thereby they need an unambiguous definition and knowledge about bullying that has been produced from research so they do not make mistakes that could lead to further damaging of the students. Thus the aim of this study was to examine how school counselors define bullying compared to the views held by scientists and students in secondary school. Through a review of previously done research the definitions of scientists and schoolchildren was summarized.

SUMMARYThe riding school horse is the base for the riding school. Riding schools are looking for a suitable horse that meets their demands for exterior, age, education, temperament, price and sustainability. Many different aspects may define the sustainability of the riding school horse; of them is how long life the riding school horse has in riding school activity. Previous studies have shown that the riding schools requirements are 8-12 years life span in the riding school.The purpose of this study was to describe the Swedish riding school horse life span in riding schools and at what age the riding school horses were recruited, disposed and the reasons for disposal. Information about the riding school horse life span in riding schools and reasons for disposal can provide important understanding regarding the importance of health for the riding school horse, riding school economy and profitability in the riding school.

The purpose of this bachelor?s thesis is to examine what attitudes the administrators of the selected elementary schools have towards school library media centers in general but also towards their own respective library media centers. Furthermore, it is to examine the administrators? views on their school librarian?s role in the library media center as well as an integrated part of the school activities. A branch in this purpose is to examine if there is any differences in staffing the library media centers with a library media specialist or a teacher-librarian.

In the informational age of today, continuous learning is of greatest importance. The demand for this seems to be increasing, while at the same time people are under more pressure to carry out more tasks in shorter amounts of time. A way to solve the problem of finding time to learn could be to make use of the possibilities that Internet offers for learning at a distance. The purpose of this thesis is to, from a pedagogical perspective, contribute to the discussion concerning Internet based distance education for a target population consisting of professionals. We have found that some of the courses included in the two certification programs which we have investigated are suitable for Internet based distance education.
Internet som läromedel : Begreppsdefinition, läroplansanalys och intervjuundersökning
Denna studie inriktar sig på läromedelsanvändandet inom samhällskunskapsämnet i den svenska grundskolan. Särskilt granskar den användandet av Internet som läromedel, motiveringar kring detta och konsekvenser när det gäller den pedagogiska vardagen på skolorna. För att få en bild av de statliga, formuleringsarenan, rekommendationerna kring Internet som läromedel analyseras den nya läroplanen Lgr11 i relation till tidigare gällande läroplaner. För att se hur dessa rekommendationer tillämpas i skolan, realiseringsarenan, analyseras intervjuer med sex olika verksamma samhällskunskapslärare i grundskolan. Studien visar att de statliga direktiven ger lärare flexibilitet i urvalet av läromedel.

A hearing loss may affect the identity development and participation among adolescents. To understand adolescents with hearing loss in modern society, it?s of great importance to ascertain how identity- and participation processes occur in new areas, such as the internet.Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate what research shown regarding identity development among adolescents with hearing loss and whether social processes on the internet may influence the participation of this group.Method: A literature review was conducted to obtain a cohesive framework of research about participation processes and identity development among adolescents. Included articles have been published 1995-2015.Results: The results show the importance of the individual?s identification with the surrounding.

In this part we are told when the first school started in Sweden, but the focus lies on the upper secondary school and the physics course.
"Det är så stort och okontrollerbart" : En kvalitativ studie om nätmobbvning ur föräldrarnas perspektiv
I denna kvalitativa studie med hermeneutisk ansats har det övergripande syftet varitatt undersöka vad föräldrar har för kunskaper om deras barns användning av Internetoch om fenomenet nätmobbning. Vi har använt oss av semistrukturerade intervjuermed nio informanter. Urvalet har varit föräldrar till barn i åldrarna 13-18 år. Föranalysen har symbolisk interaktionism använts. Resultatet visade att flera avföräldrarna hade bristande vetskap om deras barns användande av Internet.
