Övervakningssystem har haft en viktig roll i samhället under en lång period. Syftet med dessa systemen har inte ändrats, det är alltid säkerhetsaspekten som har varit huvudpunkten. Effektiviteten på ett övervakningssystem beror oftast på den mänskliga faktorn, någon måste bearbeta bildflödet som spelas in för att dra definitiva slutsatser. Under senare år har dessa övervakningssystem, i takt med teknologins utveckling, blivit mer intelligenta. Metoder som tillämpar automatisk analysering av en given bild har introducerats, vissa av dessa tekniker har redan hunnit bli en standard. Denna studie ska utveckla en prototyp som använder sig av tekniken och stresstesta för att identifiera eventuella brister.

When searching for better and more practical interfaces between users and their Computers, additional or alternative modes of communication between the two parties would be of great use. This thesis handles the possibilities of using eye and head movements as well as voice input as these alternative modes of communication. One part of this project is devoted to find possible interaction techniques when navigating in a Computer interface with movements of the eye or the head. The result of this part is four different controls of an interface, adapted to suit this kind of navigation, combined together in a demo application. Another part of the project is devoted to the development of an application, with voice control as primary input method.

Dagens teknik har bidragit till att mobiltelefonens användningsområden har expanderat avsevärt de senaste åren. Detta har lett till att alltfler mobila tjänster har dykt upp på marknaden. Uppgiften i detta examensarbete består i att utveckla en version anpassad för mobiltelefoner av den existerande produkten TelMe, som är en webbtjänst för vikarietillsättning inom olika verksamheter. Den mobilanpassade versionen kommer att gå under namnet TelMe Mobile. Problemställningen var att implementera de väsentliga funktionerna i produkten med avsikt för att göra dessa tillgängliga för mobiltelefoner.

This is a qualitative study which purpose is to examine the experiences of the recovery process after a treatment for eating disorders.                                                         The questions we have decided to examine are; how did the women adapt to a healthier life after treatment, what are the women's perceived experiences of the aspects related to identity and identity work, and what external social influence was seen as important for their adjustment process to a healthier life?Methods: We have used Computer-supported and semi-structured interviews. There were a total of nine women who took part in the study.                                                                                                                    Results: Majority of these women have been recovered from their eating disorders, but some still have major or minor problems. They found it rather difficult to adjust their life's without an eating disorder.Conclusions: Increased self-awarness led to greater control over the eating disorder. The women could begin to confer the new features that they identified with.

Artificiella neurala nätverk (ANN) har många användningsområden inom datavetenskap. Några av dessa är mönsterigenkänning, robotik, processkontroll, optimering och spel. Detta examensarbete kommer att handla om hur en alternativ lösning på den traditionella arkitekturen av hur ett neuralnät kan se ut. Jag kommer att undersöka om man kan ta ett stort och komplext neuralnät och bryta ned detta till mindre neuralnät utan att förlora kvaliteten på botarna i en spelmiljö kallad Open Nero. Detta för att försöka minska beräkningshastigheten av neuralnäten och förhoppningsvis även göra så botarna lär sig ett bra beteende snabbare. Mitt examensarbete kommer att visa att min lösning av arkitekturen för ett neuralt nätverk inte fungerar speciellt bra då botarna inte lärde sig tillräckligt fort.

This masters thesis deals with smoke spread via ventilation systems. One aim of the thesis is to investigate and explain the differences in efforts to prevent smoke spread via ventilation systems in different countries. A second aim of this thesis is to investigate how frequently occurring smoke spread via ventilation systems in Swedish buildings are. A third aim is to investigate how uncertainties in input variables to smoke spread calculations will affect the result of calculation. To be able to do this the most important input variables are identified and analysed.

Through a case study, I wanted to find out what advantages and disadvantages local companies consider with scrum and what they think about its future. To find out what scrum is, I read the literature and scientific articles and then wrote surveys based on my thoughts. Further, I also wanted to find out if it?s possible to use scrum in a school environment and therefore I visited a high school class who used scrum in one of their projects. The result was good but could have been better as it requires more training of scrum to understand everything. The surveys were distributed to various local companies. After having received a lot of answers, I concluded that the clear priority was the most positive feature of scrum and the most negative was that it was difficult to get the rest of the organization to understand scrum, which creates problems. Both high school class and local companies believe in scrum?s future, even if they think scrum will be partially modified to adapt to the software-development in the future. According to the survey responses, the most important to get the projects to be successful both now and in the future is that everyone who work with scrum is right educated..

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to compare existing theories and policies on CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) with the actual situation among practising teachers of ESL (English as a Second Language) of secondary schools in Sweden. The evaluation focuses on the differences between theories and reality, and discusses why, if any, the differences exist. Some background information on second language acquisition is provided, and recent theories and standpoints within the field of CALL are mentioned to highlight the differences between theory and reality. The evaluation was made by handing out a survey to 33 teachers of ESL, asking questions about their use of Computers in their everyday teaching. The survey shows that the gap between the theories and standpoints within the field of CALL, and the reality of teachers in schools often is huge.

Vi har valt att titta på hur E-sportmarknaden använder sig av sociala medier för att sprida sig ut bland medierna och nå befintliga och framtida användare. E-sport är ett begrepp som innefattar all typ av elektronisk sport. Dota2 och Starcraft 2 är två exempel på spel där E-sport är ett vinnande koncept. Vi har valt att skapa föreningen, Gruesome Gaming som ligger till grund för uppgiften för att kunna ta reda på hur de sociala medierna fungerar i marknadsföringssyfte. Människors beteende på Internet samt hur människor hanterar marknadsföring på Internet kommer upplysas närmare i arbetets resultatkapitel.

The purpose of this study is to investigate if and how children acknowledge TV-commercials, and if that is the case, are their preferences in products a result of it? The study also investigates which TV-commercials that are broadcasted together with children?s programs and if and how the children acknowledge these. The studies are based on interviews and an exercise with pictures that was carried out with two groups containing four children each. One group contained four children in the age of 6, and the other four children in the age of 7. The children are situated in a school in the Swedish countryside.

Technology evolves quickly, with innovative ideas growing everywhere. Still, no technology is anywhere near challenging the mouse and keyboard for navigation of your standard Computer. This study focuses on comparing the traditional technologies of mouse and keyboard with the new technology of gestures - in this case Leap Motion - in purpose of finding how the usage differs and what the potential users want from the competing technology. The experiment was executed in a controlled environment, with as few external factors as possible. We found that although the test subjects found Leap Motion fun, the test subjects do not want to surf the web with gestures.

The company Sound Precision has developed a new Line Array loudspeaker system (VHA-40). When using this system, their customers need Computer aid to get the best possible sound-quality and control of sound levels for the whole audience. The aim of this thesis is to develop a truly useful sound quality simulator for the VHA-40. The system will help the sound engineers to position the loudspeakers for optimal sound by simulating loudspeaker configurations and visualizing the resulting sound quality and quantity. To solve this a human-centered design (HCD) approach is taken to implement a system that is truly useful for the users, meaning that they will use it more and hence deliver better sound for the audience.

Målet med vårt examensarbete har varit att på uppdrag från United Computer Systems skapa ett program som kopplar samman Visma SPCS och MS Outlook. Anledningen till detta program har varit att utöka den begränsade kontakthanteringen som finns i Visma SPCS. I större affärssystem blir det allt vanligare att så kallade CRM system integreras. Dock saknas oftast bra kontakthantering i lösningar som riktar sig till mindre företag. Genom att koppla samman SPCS med Outlook, ger det användaren möjligheter att lagra mer djupgående information om kunder, deras kontaktpersoner och leveransadresser.Programmet har utformats i Borland Delphi och vi beskriver i denna rapport hur vi gått till väga för att skapa ett program som uppfyller vår uppdragsgivares önskemål vad gäller användbarhet och användarvänlighet.Vi beskriver även några av de grundläggande begreppen för vårt projekt, så som Screen scraping och API för SPCS och Windows..

Statliga myndigheter använder i allt större utsträckning öppna system, så som Internet, i sin kommunikation med medborgare, företag och andra myndigheter, därmed ställs allt högre krav på säkerhet och tillit. I takt med den ökade användningen av elektronisk kommunikation uppstår nya problem. Några av dessa är att vi inte med säkerhet vet vem vi kommunicerar med, vem som beställer tjänster och att vi inte kan vara säkra på att information kommer till rätt person eller har ändrats på vägen. Verktyg som finns för att lösa dessa problem och öka säkerheten är digitala signaturer och elektronisk identifiering. Med detta som bakgrund ställde vi oss följande frågor, vilken teknik ska statliga myndigheter använda för elektronisk identifiering och signering? Vilken teknik ska användas för att uppfylla kraven på säker elektronisk överföring? Kan statliga myndigheter ersätta traditionella namnunderskrifter med kvalificerade elektroniska signaturer? Syftet med vår uppsats blir därför att i första hand redogöra för hur statliga myndigheter avser att ersätta traditionella namnunderskrifter med kvalificerade elektroniska signaturer. Genom litteraturstudierna skaffade vi oss kunskaper om både teknik och användningsområden för digitala signaturer och genom att beskriva dessa tekniker får läsarna en introduktion i ämnet.

I denna uppsats kommer vi dokumentera vidareutvecklingen av Softwerk AB?s Content Management System kallat AppCMS. I dagsläget innefattar AppCMS plattformarna iOS, Android och Windows Phone. Kunderna till Softwerk AB har dock uttryckt ett behov av att även kunna nå ut till sina användare med en webbaserad samt en utskrivningsbar lösning. AppCMS?s exportformat har därför analyserats för att undersöka möjligheten till att återanvända det existerande exportformatet från AppCMS  även för dessa plattformarna.
