This study was aimed to examine what happened when a municipality in Sweden invested in ICT. The purpose of this study was also to find out how the change of process with ICT investment was expressed the need for more knowledge. This was called ?one-to-one? with the goal that all students would have their own Computer during their years in school.Teachers have been interviewed and observed about how they work with ipads during reading and writing lessons. The teachers in this study said that they need more knowledge to improve their everyday work with ipads.

The design process of an interaction design student is mostly collaborative and Computer oriented. Based on this, it?s hard to believe that we have not yet found a tool that will facilitate our needs. With this in mind, which elements do we need to promote collaboration in a virtual design process? This thesis will include design processes, collaboration, creativity and virtual awareness, amongst others.

I och med att teknik allt mer stödjer mobilitet öppnas möjligheten för processoperatörer att på valfri plats kunna övervaka och styra tillverkningsprocessen. Med denna rapport presenterar författaren sin empiriska studie på en högteknologisk fabrik. Studiens fokus ligger i betydelsen av processoperatörernas mobilitet och hur den framträder i deras arbete. Studien visar att mobilitet för operatörerna på fabriken är en del av deras yrkesutövande och väsentlig för att kunna styra tillverkningsprocessen.

This Master Thesis documents the development of an On Board Diagnosis (OBD-II) interface for remote diagnosis of vehicles. The Master Thesis is part of a project at the company Wayfinder Systems in Lund. The purpose of this thesis was to design a scantool that communicates with a vehicle through its OBD-II port using relevant standards. In order to make the OBD-II interface development easier, a car simulator was first built. Both the car simulator and the OBD-II interface were implemented using a linux Computer running a C-program with serial communication with an external electrical interface.

In today?s society, it becomes more common with tablets, that makes us interact with Computers in a whole new way. For example these are used to read and write e-mails, surf the web and playing games. Another manner of use of these tablets is to read and edit PDF documents. PDF handling is often meant to be used in books and inregular text documents, but it could also be used in the management of drawings.An industry that would benefit greatly from the use of tablets for this purpose is the con- struction industry.

Studien undersökte om, och hur, Google Kalender kan användas som hjälpmedel för vuxna individer med ADHD. Syftet var att öppna upp för en diskussion om medieteknik som hjälpmedel vid neuropsykiatriska funktionshinder. En sammanfattning av tillgänglig litteratur och forskning presenterade bakgrundsfakta kring ADHD, operativsystemet Android och Google Kalender. Via programvarutestning, i form av fri testning, testades och analyserades tjänsten Google Kalender utifrån de svårigheter individer med ADHD upplever. Resultaten visar att Google Kalender kan underlätta planering, tidsuppfattning, ihågkommande och framförhållning.

Elgitarrskolan är ett försök att skapa en webbsida med inslag av interaktivitet. Sidan är tänkt att fungera som en lärande miljö där besökaren ska lära sig att spela elgitarr, eller att vidareutveckla ditt spelande. Förutom själva spelandet ska sidan också ge gästen information om elgitarren och kringutrustning, med en del tekniska specifikationer, historik m.m. Elgitarrskolan är ett försök att sprida specifik kunskap genom att integrera flera olika medier till en fungerande enhet. Med hjälp av text, grafik, animationer, ljud, video och interaktiva element har jag försökt att göra informationen så lättillgänglig som möjligt och samtidigt intressant.

Some people do not have the opportunity to visit a physical exhibition because of limited time or long travelling distances, it is here the need for a web-based exhibition arises.This dissertation describes the development of an interactive web-site representing a part of a physical exhibition of over 200 interviews on different peoples immigration to inner Scandinavia. The interviews contain text, audio clip, pictures and video clip.The website contains modern programming technologies such as HTML5, ASP.NET MVC3, SQL, JavaScript and jQuery.A cover of the technologies used and how the project has been designed and implemented is explained in the dissertation. In the end of the dissertation we discuss about how the result of the project follows the goals we set up in the start phase. The result of this project is an interactive and easy to use web-site showing a part of the physical exhibition online. An easy administration to insert new information and edit existing without any major Computer knowledge..

Projektet och examinationen är uppdelad i två delar. En reflekterande del och en produktion. Den reflekterande delen handlar om att vi ska få svar på de frågor vi ställde oss innan projektets start. Dessa frågor (se projektplanen) ska vi nu ha ett svar på samt att vi nu ska kritiskt granska vår process samt arbete. Vi måste också kunna svara på frågan om vi uppnådde de mål som vi satte upp i starten av projektet.

In this Master thesis, microwave connections between circuit boards are constructed. The primary frequency band is the X-band (8-12 GHz). Styr is a Computer program that the construction company NCC use in their construction projects. The program is used to keep the economy of their projects in a good order and things for the best in an early phase. The problem is a low extent of utilization. During the latest decade NCC has put a lot of job and money trying to develop the program. The question is how to get the employees to use the program in a greater extent.

In this report, the risk of cracking in joints and/in adjacent concrete is estimated by checking shear forces in joints and the ratio between the actual maximum principal stress ant the actual strength of the concrete. The shear force has been estimated both by simple methods as well as by two-dimensional calculations. The risk of cracking in the concrete and/or in the joints is estimated with the Computer program ConStre. The restraint from a resilient foundation or rock on a young concrete construction is estimated by a simple method that is exemplified. It is shown that the restraint can be neglected in some cases.

This report is a thesis work for a B.Sc. in Forestry at the School for Forest Engineers, SLU. The work was an assignment from Jarlträ AB which is a privately owned sawmill located in southern Småland. The aim of the work was to investigate the economical result of different pricelists and how to adjust different parameters such as length correction to give an optimal result. The pricelists was examined through a Computer program (SilviA). The pricelists was made in the program and after that a simulation was preformed with a selection of random sampled trees gathered from the area nearby the sawmill.

The communication with government and municipality through Internet has in-creased during the last couple of years. Therefore we have chosen to focus our bachelor thesis in this particularly area and the needs for usable web services for the citizens. In this bachelor thesis we are studying a increasing group users, namely elderly citizens. During the study we have analysed E-governments ser-vices usability through usability tests. The combination of conversations and meetings with individuals, observations of interactions and literature studies give us the opportunity to explore the users needs.
