Detta examensarbete avser att utvärdera det befintliga kursutvärderingssystemet hos Vägsektorns Utbildningscentrum. (VUC). För att studera detta har vi använt oss av fokusgrupper, intervjuer och auskultation. Studien visar att det uppstår en viss diskrepans mellan vad VUC:s vision säger om hur kursutvärdering ska hanteras och hur kursutvärderingen hanteras idag. En slutsats som vi drar är att den information som genereras av kursutvärderingen motsvarar det syfte VUC har med kursutvärderingen.

Som underlag för den här rapporten använder vi oss av vårtspel Go Supernova. Det är skrivet i Java med hjälp avramverket LibGDX. Vi har undersökt hur man kan optimeraspelet för att kunna hantera så många objekt som möjligt menändå hålla ett bra spelflöde utan att förstöra den vision vihade när vi skapade spelet från första början. Vi har kommitfram till att ljusmotorn box2dlights använder sig av mycketprocessorkraft och användningen av den behövde justeras föratt tillfredsställa våra krav. Vi kommer även att tala omdesignval av spelets interna delar som gjorde att vi kundeundvika prestandaförluster..

När man skapar grafik till spel och speciellt återanvändningsbar grafik finns det en hel del tekniker man bör behärska. I denna rapport beskriver jag dessa och hur de påverkar objektet man jobbar med. Fokus ligger på texturering och allt relaterat till området men jag tar även upp modellering, UV-mappning samt interaktionen mellan dessa tre delar. Jag tar även upp saker man bör tänka på när man skapar objekt som kommer att återanvändas i spelet och kanske till och med kommer synas flera av bredvid varandra..

This thesis treats Building Information Modeling, BIM, in the production stage. Brieflydescribed BIM is virtual model of a building object where all information about theobject is gathered. All the involved operators in the construction project have access tothe model and can gather or share information about the project. There are several waysto apply BIM in the production stage. Bakgrund: En långvarig exponering av ultraviolett strålning kan påskynda utvecklingen av pinguecula, pterygium och katarakt. Pinguecula är godartad men kan orsaka okulär irritation. Pterygium kan växa in över kornea och ge upphov till bland annat nedsatt visus. Katarakt står för ungefär 40 % av de 16 miljoner synsvaga i världen, varav 99 % finns i utvecklingsländer.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka prevalensen av UV-relaterade förändringar i ögats främre segment bland glasögonbehövande under en resa med Vision For All till Nicaragua. Faktorer som ålder, kön samt miljö undersöktes för att se om det fanns något samband mellan dessa faktorer och prevalensen av vissa ögonförändringar i ögats främre segment bland de hjälpsökande.Material & metod: Studien genomfördes i april 2011 under en resa till Nicaragua i samarbete med Vision For All.

This paper presents a study of the computer game ?Minesweeper?. The aim of the game is to search through a rectangular area of mined squares without hitting any mines. By using a strategy based on making every operation as safe as possible, series of the game have been simulated. The size of the playground is four times four squares.

This degree project is based on identifying and allocation of costs in a packaging section at Electrolux Distriparts in Torsvik.The purpose of this thesis is to identify the costs that emerge when packaging different articles and show how the costs are allocated. The report also contains improvement suggestions about how the company can use the current computer system more efficient.The methods that have been used in order to approach the problem and the collection of information have mainly been literature study, interviews and observation.The work started with answering the questions; which expenditure cost and direct cost exist in the section, how can they be allocated, if improvement can be done and how the flow of information is supposed to happen.In order to answer the questions we used our former experience and the knowledge we achieved by reading literature, interview relevant persons in the company and observations carried out in the section.Through our studies, we came up with an Excel file, which is the groundwork for a template that can be used by the company in different occasions depending on the situation and need. It is important to remember to modify the template if the presumptions change. In the template, we have identified the different kind of costs that emerge when packaging different articles and we have also allocated the costs. In addition formulas and estimations that are necessary for the cost calculation are presented.The work consisted in making the groundwork for a template.

The aim of this study was to examine the amounts of heavy metals in the sediment of a wetland constructed for stormwater treatment. The wetland is called Vattenparken and is located in the city of Enköping. The heavy metals which were analysed were Pb, Cd, Ni, Zn, Cu, Cr and Hg. The total metal concentrations were determined using HNO3 chemical extraction. From 8 sampling sites 5 sediment cores were taken.

The purpose of this work was to determine how important a word?s setting was for the readability of typography in motion. Facts regarding how reading works and the importance of the words formation for the readability were used to form a computer test. This test was performed by 15 test persons and the results were analyzed. The results show that the serif was easier to read than the sanserif.

This report explains how different communication tools can be used in a company?s intranet. It gives a short description of the different parts in an intranet and their field of application, and what communication means. Examensarbetet har innefattat att utforma ett inredningsförslag till restaurangen Down Town i Eskilstuna. Förslaget har anpassats till den primära målgruppen studenter i åldersgruppen 18 ? 35, på Mälardalens högskola i Eskilstuna. Vår uppdragsgivare har en vision om att restaurangen i framtiden ska bli en naturlig mötesplats, där studenter till förmånliga priser kan äta lunch och umgås. Utifrån en enkätundersökning, intervju med uppdragsgivaren, resultatet av rums analysen, inspirationsresan och litteraturstudier har vi arbetat fram ett helhetskoncept anpassat till målgruppen..

Vi vill med den här uppsatsen undersöka om brukskvaliteter kan vara ett stöd vid mjukvaruutveckling, med fokus på dess kommunikativa egenskaper och hur de kan bidra till skapandet av samförståelse. Empirin för studien är hämtat från UIQ Technology i Ronneby som utvecklar en plattform för ?smart phones? och har ett starkt fokus på användbarhet.I denna uppsats beskriver vi deras arbete som två nivåer. Först ut är Vision vilket representerar dem som tar in kundens krav och skapar, eller formulerar, en vision utefter dessa. Därefter förs denna formulering ner till Utförande som står för dem som skapar den faktiska produkten.
