Undervisning och dyslexi : Några gymnasieläraren arbetssätt för att stödja elever med dyslexi
According to the curriculum the teachers have a responsibility to adjust the activities in the classroom in order to suit the pupils and to give them the means of assistance the pupils need to be successful in their learning. The teachers should also stimulate the interest to learn and support the pupils? self esteem. One of the problems a dyslectic pupil faces is an often weak self esteem. Another is the weak phonological awareness which makes it hard to fully understand the context and to recognize different phonemes when writing.

This document is a summary of my work to create a project management system for a small firm working with computer graphics. The intention is to manage customers, projects, images and invoices in the easiest possible way. To make the system as flexible as possible a web-interface was chosen which makes it possible to access the system from any computer, making it independent of any particular operating system. The only requirement on the user environment is that the computer must have a connection to the Internet to be able to access the system. The different techniques that have been used to develop the project management system is primarily Ruby on Rails and a MySQL database.
Viking Future Centre : Vision om en identitetsbyggnad i Göteborg
This thesis project is a vision of an identity building in Gothenburg, situated on the pier called Bananpiren. The purpose of the project is to create interest and stimulate discussions around the place and the building.In order to gain inspiration of what such a place can contain and express, a number of similar projects have been analysed, for example the Sydney Opera and the Yokohama International Port Terminal.A number of suggestions was then created and analysed, all of which are presented in chronological order in order to show the rejections and the developed designs that resulted in the final formation to proceed with.The result was finalised in a number of presentation images of the project that can be used by Cullbergs Arkitektkontor AB when presenting the project..
Virtuellt ledarskap i näringslivet: Hur affärssimulering kan skapa kompetens, samsyn, och ökad ekonomisk förståelse i en organisation
The purpose of this thesis has been to explore the topic of business simulation from a theoretical foundation in social constructivism and theories concerning leadership as the management of meaning. The most important findings are that business simulation can be used for strategical leadership by management to create a common vision in the organisation members, which affects their perception of the business and the decisions and actions they make, which in turn can lead to a more efficient organisation that becomes better at meeting set goals. This can be viewed in different ways from different theoretical viewpoints: as inducing targeted changes in mental models to create changes in decision making and actions; as a secondary socialization process where the vision of management is externalized as a business simulation that is in turn internalized by the organisation members that participate in the business simulation, or as a way to frame and define the reality of the organisational members which creates a shared reference point against which a feeling of organisation and direction can emerge. In the future, business simulations may become increasingly used by organizations to create a common vision or to communicate a new decision to the organization members..

Problem:
Every day companies, regardless of size, produces new information that needs to
be stored. In the information society of today, the characteristics of the
information changes both in size and complexity. This results in higher demands
on which storage solution that suits the company and their field of business.
New and more innovating storage solutions enters the market, but are they
necessary to smaller companies of development active in the IT society?
Questions to Answer:
Is data storage a growing problem for companies of development active in the IT
society?
How do traditional storage solutions manage the information growth of today?
How urgent is the need of a new storage solution?
Which features are prioritized in the future storage solution?
Method:
By performing a quantitative survey we delivered an inquiry to several
companies, which answers will help us answering our above mentioned questions.
Conclusion:
The consulted companies experience no growing problems what so ever regarding
their existing storage solution..

The aim with this study is to explore if and how linguistic learning takes places when four pairs ofstudents in grade one writes on the computer. Observations of eight students took place duringtwelve lessons to investigate what happened during their writing processes. This study isimportant because students? computer writing is a relatively new phenomenon in the Swedishprimary school.It is clear that the peer collaboration creates a complex interaction that becomes the platform, andalso the prerequisite, for successful language training. The method can clearly give students profitsin their linguistic development.

This study aims to find possible effects from the use of Voice over internet protocol software together with computer gaming on young adults English output. The study also tries to find effects of media usage on output and if there exists differences between boys and girls. This is done through analysis based on data collected from 28 informants, age 16-18. The data consists of recordings of individual stories coupled with a survey. The empirical data is analyzed in both quantitative and qualitative way.

Focus was on the consequences of collaboration and also on the students? understanding of their own performance, compared to techniques in traditional art class.The study was qualitative and began with studies in literature. The contents of the literature are the foundation of the discussion, especially theories concerning the learning process, IT and computer-based learning. In the project, three different groups of students from upper secondary school attended and they where given tasks to solve in the image editing program Paint Shop Pro.

Uppsatsens syfte är att belysa hur vision, målstyrning och feedback upplevs av omsorgspersonal då de dagligen inte har tillgång till en fysiskt närvarande chef. För att uppnå vårt syfte har vi valt att genomföra en kvalitativ studie,i en mellanstor kommun som aktivt arbetar med vision och målstyrning sedan ett antal år tillbaka. Det empiriska materialet utgörs av fyra stycken intervjuer med omsorgspersonal utifrån semistrukturerade frågor. Våra frågeställningar är följande: Hur upplever omsorgspersonalen på självstyrande enheter implementering och förankring av organisationens vision i sitt dagliga arbete? Hur upplever omsorgspersonalen på självstyrande enheter att målstyrning fungerar? Hur upplever omsorgspersonalen på självstyrande enheter möjligheten till feedback med en fysiskt frånvarande chef? Vad anser omsorgspersonalen på självstyrande enheter om chefens närvaro/frånvaro? För att tolka och analysera vår empiri, har ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt och en abduktiv ansats använts.

Requirement Specification for Information Security to Health Systems, Case Study - IMIS
During 2001-2002 a prototype, IMIS (Integrated Mobile Information System) was
developed at BTH (Blekinge University of Technology) to demonstrate how mobile
IT-systems can be used in healthcare. The prototype was based on the activity
theory of Engeström.
An ongoing project started in spring 2003. The purpose of the project is
further development of IMIS with special focus in the diabetes healthcare.

The purpose of this study is to discover - What are the specific usability requirements should be addressed in designing of websites for touch screen computers? - In order to examine the essay?s question, it presents a study where five people visiting three different websites on the touch screen computer Ipad. The study was conducted using a participant and structured interview observation in form of a think-aloud method.
