The pace of product development is increasing. It is important to keep high quality in theproducts even though the time for product development decreases. Those companies whichcan utilize previous experiences are positioned with a significant competitive advantage. ToABB Robotics it has become evident that the knowledge transfer process within the productdevelopment department is inadequate. This study was a result and an attempt to address thisunsatisfactory insight.

Electrooculogram (EOG) data was used to develop, adjust and validate a method for drowsiness detection in drivers. The drowsiness detection was based on changes in blink behaviour and classification was made on a four graded scale. The purpose was to detect early signs of drowsiness in order to warn a driver. MATLAB was used for implementation. For adjustment and validatation, two different reference measures were used; driver reported ratings of drowsiness and an electroencephalogram (EEG) based scoring scale.

Tången 2 is a building situated in Stockholm, Sweden. It´s built in the 1930s and contains both residences and businesses. The property owner, Diligentia AB, wants to lower the energy use in Tången 2. This report consists of an energy audit which clarifies the specific circumstances linked to Tången 2. Collected knowledge is then used, together with the results from the literature study, to decide energy measures to proceed with.

This study examines the cultural place and status of video and computer games in the Swedish public library. Using works on popular culture and the theories of Pierre Bourdieu, this study employs quantitative methods, as well as textual analysis, to analyze the results of an online questionnaire with 19 questions focusing on selection criteria, shelf placement, perceived competence, as well as reasoning for having or not having these games in the library. 286 out of the 440 libraries contacted is participating in the study, and the libraries consist exclusively of public libraries in Sweden that are found in the database of the Royal Library.The results of this study show that a larger number of libraries than previously indicated have started to provide electronic games to their patrons. At the same time, patterns in the data and comments suggests that these games in many cases still do not enjoy the same level of cultural recognition as other media. Indicative of this is the way most libraries seem to focus on the medium being exclusively for their young patrons, with seem-ingly very little in the way of investment for adults.

En rapport från FunkaNu som gjordes 2006 visade att Osby kommuns hemsida hade tillgänglighetsproblem och kommunen bestämde sig för att förbättra tillgängligheten. Ett första steg i detta arbete var att uppgradera till ny version av sitt publiceringssystem och att utbilda webbredaktörerna i webbtillgänglighet. Vilket resultat har dessa satsningar gett? Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka i vilken omfattning Osby kommuns hemsida följer riktlinjerna i Vägledningen 24-timmarswebben och därigenom se hur tillgänglig Osby kommuns hemsida är.

The Functional Resonance Accident Model is a method developed to analyze complex systems for the purpose of accident prevention. In FRAM-analysis a visualization of the complex system is created as an aid for identifying points of interaction in the system where the risk of accidents is high, and to determine where preventive measures are to be placed. FRAM Visualizer is a Computer program developed as a tool for creating such visualizations.Many usability problems have been identified in FRAM visualizations created both manually according to established method and by using the FRAM Visualizer software. The purpose of this paper is to give a basis for how FRAM visualizations can be improved in accordance with usability criteria for use in future qualitative studies.The author suggests alterations to the FRAM visualization to resolve usability issues identified in previous articles and to achieve usability goals derived from visual communication theory. The design process is guided by established design principles.

Chronic illness is associated with conditions that may result in psychological ill-health in the adolescence. Consequently there is a need for development of preventive psychosocial support interventions for this target group. The objective was to develop, implement, and evaluate the effect of supportive intervention group program for teenagers suffering from chronic illness - aiming at increasing quality of life and supporting mental and physical health. Method: Six different intervention groups were conducted between 2007 and 2011, age 13?17.

Syftet med följande arbete var att undersöka hur de gymnasieelever som erhållit plats vid PRIV, programinriktat individuellt val, upplevde sin studiesituation. Vad de upplevde som positivt respektive negativt och hur de upplevde att ha en annan studieplan än sina klasskamrater. Elva elever på olika nationella program på två olika gymnasieskolor har intervjuats och gett sin syn på PRIV. Elevernas erfarenheter och upplevelser har kategoriserats, analyserats och jämförts. Resultatet visade att samtliga elever upplevde sig som privilegierade över att erhållit en plats vid PRIV. De upplevde mening och sammanhang med sina studier.

This bachelor thesis in mechanical engineering was performed during the spring2015 in collaboration with Composite Consulting Group in Laholm. TheComposites Consulting Group works mainly with design and details of differentcomposite projects, their main area is FE-calculations, 3D-modelling andmechanical tests with composite materials.The aim of this bachelor thesis was to simplify the calculation process of solidmechanics for sandwich panels by simulation with computer software. The goalwas to decrease the time for the design and calculation process of the constructionand the cost of the practical tests. Our task was to build a static three dimensionalmodel with the computer software Abaqus, where the result should correspondwith the practical pressure tests in laboratory.The project started with collection of material data from Composites ConsultingGroup and by learning the software Abaqus, simultaneously a specification wasdeveloped in corporation with the company. Later on, a static wheel pressuremodel in the software Abaqus was produced which simulated the behavior of thesandwich panel during static wheel-pressure by a pallet truck.

The purpose of this essay has been to examine whether attitudes and behavior among Swedish people who takes snuff are dissonant or not and how their attitudes are affected by the media debate about the health risks snuff can cause. Furthermore, we were interested in finding out how different reference groups´ attitudes would influence the attitudes and the willingness of people to stop taking snuff and investigate how much control the people who take snuff think they have. To answer these questions we chose to ask primarily students at Stockholm University and Södertörns Högskola. The students were asked to fill out a questionnaire with 22 questions and the 100 responses we collected were worked up in a statistic program, SPSS, on the computer. The main models used for the essay and for the questionnaire were the Theory of Planned behavior and the Dissonance theory.

Den 21 juli 2001 trädde Europaparlamentets och rådets direktiv, om bedömning av vissa planers och programs miljöpåverkan, i kraft. Syftet med direktivet var att säkerhetsställa en hög nivå på miljöskydd, genom att utföra miljöbedömningar på vissa planer och program som kan antas medföra en betydande miljöpåverkan. När ny lagstiftning ska implementeras brukar det vanligtvis uppkomma implementeringsproblem och det var något som jag misstänkte skulle uppkomma även i detta fall. Syftet med uppsatsen är därför att ta reda på hur arbetet har fortlöpt med att implementera de nya bestämmelserna som har haft sin upprinnelse från EU:s direktiv. Informationsflödet kring de nya bestämmelserna har också studerats.

I denna studie undersöks danslärares och danspedagogers uppfattning avSimonsontekniken och hur den kan användas i dansundervisningen på gymnasieskolans estetiska program för att öka måluppfyllelsen gällande målen inom anatomi, kroppens funktion och den egna kroppens funktion enligt Gy11. Studien är en intervjustudie där gymnasielärare och pedagoger med erfarenhet av Simonsontekniken intervjuades.Resultatet visar att anatomi, och hur de förhåller sig till anatomi, är en viktig aspekt i deras dansundervisning. Ett framgångsrikt sätt att förstå anatomi är att integrera det i dansen istället för att endast behandla det teoretiskt. Det är även viktigt att skapa medvetenhet och förståelse kring varje individs kroppsliga förutsättningar..

Mitt syfte är att undersöka bilder i programkataloger för gymnasiet för att visa hur olika program framställs i bild. Vad förmedlar dessa bilder gällande synen på olika program, detta i avseende på ämneskonception och intersektionalitet? För att analysera bildmaterialet använder jag mig av en egen bildanalysmodell med grund i semiotisk bildanalys men där även intersektionalitet är en del. Resultatet består av bildanalyser av enskilda bilder men även helhetsintryck av kataloger. Jag har tyckt mig se ett mycket nischat och stereotypt tilltal gällande både ämneskonception och intersektionalitet, som kan riskera att exkludera istället för att inkludera elever.

Costs of maintenance on combines are a subject of interest thus it constitute a large investment and cost for the individual farmer. Therefore it is important to have up to date knowledge and the right facts to be able to do reliable calculations on one of the largest investments for a farmer. The aim of this study was to compare costs of maintenance on combine/threshingmachine with the Computer program for advising environmental issues in agriculture, STANK. Interviews took place and data were collected by handing out questionnaires to 20 farmers. A similar study conducted by Neuman (2003) investigated costs of maintenance and compared these with STANK. The results of this study have also been compared and examined related to data from SLA - Skogs och Lantarbetsgivarförbundet. The result shows that 18 out of 20 combines were given a higher cost of maintenance when using STANK compared to the numbers in this study.
