Lärares erfarenheter av algebraundervisning i år 7-9 : En intervjuundersökning med sex lärare
Syftet med detta arbete har varit att ta reda på hur lärare kan undervisa i algebra för att underlätta för eleverna. De frågor som ställts är: Vad är viktigt att tänka på när man undervisar i algebra? och Vari ligger svårigheterna med algebra?. För att kunna besvara frågorna har det dels gjorts en litteraturstudie, dels intervjuer med sex lärare, som undervisar i år 7-9.De svårigheter med algebra som framkommit är bland annat att algebra upplevs som abstrakt och att det dessutom är ett ganska nytt område för eleverna i år 7-9. Eleverna kan få svårigheter som är kopplade till likhetstecknet och dolda tecken men också till översättningar och tolkningar av algebraiska uttryck.

sticks contains information that might be useful. Computer Forensics is
regulary conducted by Police, Customs, Tax investigators but also within
private companies and organisations. However, there are areas within the
storage device that are not part of the organisied structure that a file system
gives. The reason for that might be that the information has been erased by
intention, a virus destroyed the file system and so on.
Riktlinjer för mobil applikationsutveckling
Marknaden för mobila system har utvecklats enormt snabbt de senaste åren. Idag
är det ett område med en allt större omsättning och det har vuxit fram som en
helt ny gren inom Software Engineering. Utvecklare av mobila applikationer står
ständigt inför en utmaning när det gäller att välja vilket mobilt system man
ska satsa på när man utvecklar applikationer. Valet av system kan vara helt
avgörande för om man hittar rätt målgrupp av konsumenter och därmed kan
generera tillräckligt med omsättning för att driva lönsam utveckling av
applikationer. Det räcker inte att enbart kolla på vilket system som har mest
användare eller vilket system som genererar mest omsättning, utan man bör
noggrant överväga de förhållande som gäller för just den applikation som ska
utvecklas.
Genom att följa denna guiden och överväga de olika faktorer som vi har
sammanställt så kan man som utvecklare göra ett val som är baserat på aktuella
marknadsundersökningar.

This report is focusing on problems with introducing standard enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) in businesses. A study has been carried out on a service and support department at a Swedish heat metering company, SVM North Node. The study aims to help the company become a better customer in choice and customization of a new ERP system. We make a description of the department studied and the work carried out there, on the basis of learning, knowledge and cooperation. As a final point we present some ideas on how computer systems could support their work, hoping that this will result in them making adequate demands on a new ERP system..
Digitalisera loggboken : En analys av utmaningarna med att utveckla IT-stöd för kunskapsintensiva verksamheter
Failed system development projects are a common sight within the IT-industry. During the last ten years we have seen several more or less disastrous high profile projects being reported in the news. One aspect that might hold some of the responsibility for these failures is the fact that more organisations are knowledge intensive which makes their work processes difficult to capture in computer systems. How requirements engineering is handled becomes even more important in these cases, where processes are unpredictable and rely on individual judgement and knowledge. In this study we have examined the challenges of developing systems for knowledge intensive businesses through a method of qualitative case study of a university laboratory.
Requirement Specification for Information Security to Health Systems, Case Study - IMIS
During 2001-2002 a prototype, IMIS (Integrated Mobile Information System) was
developed at BTH (Blekinge University of Technology) to demonstrate how mobile
IT-systems can be used in healthcare. The prototype was based on the activity
theory of Engeström.
An ongoing project started in spring 2003. The purpose of the project is
further development of IMIS with special focus in the diabetes healthcare.
Participants in the project are scientists and students at BTH, ALMI
Företagspartner, Blekinge FoU-enhet, Barndiabetesförbundet Blekinge, Blekinge
Diabetesförening, Vårdcentralen Ronneby and Vårdcentralen Sölvesborg.
Socialarbetares syn på datorspelande ungdomar : En intervjustudie om socialarbetares problematisering av ett nytt fenomen
The purpose of our study is to describe and understand whether, and if so, how social workers in school and in social services construct computer gaming adolescents as a social problem. We chose social workers who encounter adolescents with different problems. We have conducted qualitative interviews with vignettes to capture the social workers' reasoning about computer gaming adolescents and how they handle this in their work. The study shows that all social workers we interviewed had encountered adolescents with troubling computer gaming habits. In the study, all agree that computer gaming becomes a problem when it leads to deviant behaviour such as not going to school, staying up all night and so on.

System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the
Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue
to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and
services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system
can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system
can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands
then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a
mouse-click away.
Resonemang i matematikundervisningen : När,var och hur i årskurs 5-7
Sammanfattning I den här rapporten har vi undersökt sex lärares uppmuntrande av resonemang under matematiken med extra fokus på algebra. Lärarna undervisar årskurserna 5-7. Syftet var att se vilka resonemang som lärarna uppmuntrar till i matematiken och hur de introducerar algebra för eleverna. Vi har i rapporten utgått från två typer av resonemang nämligen det imiterande och det kreativa. Med det imiterande resonemanget menas att eleverna plagierar en metod som visats för dem av läraren, läroboken eller liknande.
BSR Prestandaverktyg / BSR Performance tool : Prestandamätning via diagnosuttag över CAN / Performance measure via diagnostic socket over CAN
This abstract describes the bachelor degree thesis in computer technology at Växjö University. The company BSR in Växjö has requested an application that can measure a cars performance, with attributes like acceleration times and engine power estimation. The communication between car and computer is via the USB port on the computer and the OBD-II socket on the car with the network protocol CAN, controller area network. Cars from VAG have been the primary focus group and the application has been tested on a Volkswagen Passat CC from 2009. The system is developed in the programming language C# in the environment Visual Studio with the framework .NET.
Ledarskap inom ramen för ett systemutvecklingsprojekt - fokus på en arbetsprocess med stöd i Vattenfallsmodellen
Many research reports mention the fact that a huge number of all system
development projects never reach a successful ending; with other words never
fulfil formulated goals. By identifying and forming success factors (and in
some aspect risk factors) that the project manager in practice can use, this
study may be seen as a step in the direction towards minimising the high number
of failed system development projects.
The purpose of this research report is to investigate how a system development
project, where the development process is based on a specific development or
process model (in this case the Waterfall model), can and should be driven. I
aim to clarify what is demanded of a project leader for the specific
development process and give an account for which eventual leadership qualities
that can be well suited for given situation in relation to the need for
technical competence.
Among other things the project manager should inspire confidence, drive, be a
decision maker, engage and own some form of basic knowledge in the field of
system development.
Aurora - Technology made to make things easier
Det började faktiskt redan hösten 2004, när jag satt och arbetade med ett av de
otaliga projekt man gör under sin skolgång. Projektet gick ut på att skapa en
hemsida med en digital katalog, och voilá, där föddes idén.
Sedan fortsatte jag att fundera, vända och vrida på idén, ett system för att
skapa digitala kataloger och mindre presentationer som vemsomhelst skulle kunna
använda. Just detta att inte exkludera de som inte kan ?Flash? från de som
skall kunna redigera systemet har varit en av mina stora grundpelare, ett slags
digital demokratitanke.
För att skapa systemet har jag använt ?Macromedia Flash MX? och dess inbyggda
programmeringsspråk ?ActionScript?. Programmeringsspråket är inte ursprungligen
tänkt att användas för att göra system, men jag tycker personligen att jag
lyckats bevisa att det fungerar även för det ändamålet.

The purpose with my degree project is to investigate the use of computers within the daily activity in three preschools and one preschool class. I have designed a survey that I distributed to the staff. The purpose of my work is to investigate how a number of preschool teachers and children in a few preschools and one preschool class in a medium-sized Swedish town are using the computer in their activities.My study shows that the computer is frequently used, both of the children and teachers, but also together. The children in my study are using the computer to play games, listen to music, and go into the websitewww.youtube.com, but also in order to write and count. The teachers primarily use the computer to document, check their e-mail and listen to music.
Ingenting är sant, allt är tillåtet : En kvalitativ studie om historiska datorspel som Assassin?s Creeds påverkan för det oavsiktliga lärandet och dess pedagogiska möjligheter
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the unintentional learning that happens during the use of computer games. With the use of interviews with students in the ages 13-15 who all have played the game series Assassin?s Creed, and then compared them with students who does not play the game, we have been able to identify that some learning is taking place, but that the student?s attitude towards the subject, and their maturity, also is vital for the learning. Even tough, the students who didn?t really enjoy history as a subject showed better knowledge after playing the game, than the students who hadn?t played at all, which indicates that computer games can be a good source for learning.
