The aim of this study was to describe and to analyze needs and social efforts concerning unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children. The responsibility for the reception of this target group was transferred on July 1, 2006 from the Swedish Migration Board to the municipalities that sign an agreement with the Swedish Migration Board. Eight qualitative interviews were carried out with representatives for transit-residents and assigned municipalities in Skåne. Our main questions were: How has the reception of unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children been planned, how do the municipalities and the transit-residents consider their needs and what is the level of qualifications and competence within the municipalities in order to work with unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children on the basis of social efforts? We chose to clarify our findings on the basis of the attachment theory, which is applicable during the critical emancipation phase that the vast majority of the unaccompanied/separated asylum-seeking children find themselves in.

Syftet med vår uppsats är att undersöka några gymnasielärares och lärarutbildares inställningar till undervisning om folkmord. Vi vill undersöka deras inställning till didaktiseringen om folkmord. Vi vill också skapa oss en bild av det material som finns till förfogande i ämnet, främst läroböcker. De intervjuade lärarnas syfte till undervisning om folkmord varierade. Vissa betonade den etiska aspekten.

Examensarbetet har utförts hos SSAB Tunnplåt i Luleå. Syftet var att utveckla en metod för mätning av arbetsglädje och attityd. I en förstudie intervjuades ett antal personer på olika avdelningar med olika befattningar. Frågor togs fram utifrån den tillgängliga teorin för området. Frågorna modifierades efter intervjuer med produktionspersonal samt uppdragsgivaren.

Beckholmen är en ö i Stockholms inlopp, på ön har det drivits skeppsrelaterad verksamhet i hundratals år och är en av stadens äldsta industriområden. I dag drivs först och främst båtvarv på ön som domineras av tre torrdockor, ett publikt stråk finns upp och runt de äldre bostadshusen på öns topp. Uppgiften jag gav mig var att rita en ny stor varvsbyggnad som motsvarar det varvet efterfrågar och som uppfyller mina egna krav på det formala. Utmaningen låg i att formge en volym som tydligt talar ett industriellt språk, är relevant för platsen samt intressant enbart som ett objekt för en förbipasserande turist. Designprocessen har varit lång och smärtsam, det var inte långt innan inlämning som projektet fick sin slutgiltiga form.

The pre-school is seen by many as the place where children get equipped for the future and the challenges there of. One of the most important aims according of the curriculum for Swedish preschools is that children get the opportunity, in interaction with the pedagogues, to develop their identity and to feel secure and satisfied with themself. Although, in the curriculum of the Swedish preschool system there is a comprehensive focus on the children?s competencies and learning, the importance that the children feel secure is not that prominent. Consequently a paradox occurs between the focus on children?s competencies and their need for care.

The current situation for Swedish grain farmers facing a situation with decreasing profitability makes it necessary for the farmers to find ways of increasing the margins in their grain growing. Decreasing profitabilities along with Lantmännens closing of grain elevators contribute to the necessity for farmers to invest in grain storing and drying at the farm. By investing in capacity for drying and storage of grain on the farm it is possible to recieve a higher price on the grain sold due to the possibility to sell when the price is higher compared to the harvesting season. An investment in grain drying and storage with a relatively low investment cost that recently has appeared on the Swedish market is the grain stir drying system. This study contains a comparison of an investment in a grain stir drying system where the grain is dried and stored in the same silo and a conventional drying and storage system.

The purpose of this investigation is to show how politicians state primary goals and how they break them down into secondary objectives within the sector of Child-and education area. This is supposed to create a general image on how the targeting process is handled within the public activity. Finally, this will lead us to what is necessary for the targeting process to work successfully within the public activity.  We have implemented a qualitative study within the two chosen municipalities. This case study is based on personal interviews that are conducted through semi structured questions.

Brännskador orsakar stora förändringar i den drabbade personens liv. Denna typ av skador ställer höga krav på vården som ges, och berör livet på såväl kroppsliga som mentala och känslomässiga plan. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att sammanställa kunskap om vilken påverkan svåra brännskador har på människors liv . I studien ingick 15 artiklar, både kvalitativa och kvantitativa, som analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att många personer med svåra brännskador drabbas av djupa emotionella problem.

Environmental problems are accelerating with energy consumption and the release of greenhouse gases as the major issues. This affects landscape planning mostly through environmentally hazardous transportation and heating of buildings. In environmental work, the term "Sustainable development" is often used. This term was coined in the Bruntland report in 1987. A number of frameworks have been developed to clarify the term and to remind the user about relevant aspects of sustainability.

Det är av största vikt att lärare arbetar med kreativa och varierade arbetsmetoder för att skapa och bibehålla elevers läslust. Detta kan göras genom att frångå traditionella läromedel, dock skall dessa inte totalt förkastas. Genom att utgå från skönlitteratur möjliggörs lärarens uppdrag, nämligen att möta och tillgodose varje enskild elevs inlärningsstil, behov och mognadsnivå. Med detta menar vi att undervisningen/inlärningen kan variera mellan exempelvis bild, drama, musik, rörelse och de teoretiska ämnena. Med denna metod får alla elever en känsla av att lyckas och därmed ökar motivationen och lusten att lära.

A large part of the Namibian low income population lack access to grid distributed electricity. This mean they are effectively shut out from basic functions such as lighting, information technologies and hygienic food handling. Hence, finding ways of providing affordable off-grid electricity is an important, not to say critical, task.This master thesis is an innovation and concept development project that has been carried out in cooperation with organisations in Sweden and Namibia. The purpose of the project has been to (1) develop a concept for off-grid electricity supply in Namibia and (2) to gain a deeper knowledge within the area of innovation and product development for the Base of the Pyramid population, i.e. the poorest, but largest, socio-economic part of the global population.Essential in this project has been to acquire user understanding and to identify user needs to create a foundation for developing the concept.

AbstractThis report has been developed in cooperation with Peab Region Bostad Göteborg, mentor at Krook& Tjäder (through Chalmers), and examiner at Chalmers University of Technology. The report is the result of a research of a building project, constructed by Peab. The report is investigating and it means to identify and evaluate qualities in the dwelling and its surroundings. Its purpose is to evaluate how the residents in a chosen housing cooperative enjoy living there. It shall, with help of chosen quality aspects, identify what expectations the residents had before moving in, how they experience the dwelling and its surroundings today, and what hopes they have for the future planning of the area.

Målet med denna uppsats är att se vilka författningar som gör sig gällande vid planering, byggande och drift av en vägtunnel, främst med avseende på samråd men även brand och personsäkerhet. Processen kring att planera en tunnel är väl reglerad och innefattar många lagar. Väglagen (1971:948) reglerar om planprocessen, när de olika stegen ska utföras, vad de ska innehålla samt när och med vilka samråd ska ske. Miljöbalken (1998:808) reglerar främst att en miljökonsekvensbeskrivning ska utföras och godkännas, men innehåller även generella regler om förebyggande skyddsåtgärder. Plan- och bygglagen (1987:10) görs också gällande vid planeringen av en vägtunnel med avseende på detaljplaner och Länsstyrelsens tillsyn över plan- och byggnadsväsendet i länet.

Vi behandlar i denna uppsats metoder för att minska transaktionsexponering vid utrikeshandel. Uppsatsen är skriven på uppdrag av ett fallföretag och problematiken kring transaktionsexponeringen sätts i relation till deras situation. Syftet är således att utifrån fallföretagets situation beskriva teorier kring området och genomföra ett test för att komma med förslag på en säkringsstrategi för företaget. Vi har tagit del av en riskanalysrapport från företaget samt haft öppna intervjuer med ekonomichef och controller. Vidare har vi laddat ner data från Sveriges Riksbank och Datastream.
