SAS - Att vända förlust till vinst
Uppsatsen handlar om hur SAS har agerat strategiskt för att ta sig ur två olika kriser. Vi har studerat och beskrivit den ekonomiska kris de haft under de senaste åren då flygmarknaden samtidigt har präglats av hyperkonkurrens. Dessutom har vi jämfört denna kris med den kris företaget hade på 80-talet för att se om det skulle vara möjligt att använda sig av samma strategiska inriktning under 2000- kris som under 80-talet..
Risk Management : Revisionsbyråernas arbete med att hantera risker vid klientaccepterande
SAMMANFATTNINGGenom de skandaler som revisionsbranschen mött har ökande krav på branschen uppkommit. Det kan finnas risker i dagens samhälle som inte existerat eller varit aktuella tidigare men på grund av de förändringar som skett i samhället nu framträtt. Vi ville studera hur revisionsbyråerna förhåller sig till dessa samt hur de finner en väg att hantera dem. Studiens syfte var undersöka om det finns något aktivt arbete med att hantera de risker som är förknippade med accepterandet av klienter, det lyder:Syftet med vår uppsats är att studera om det finns ett aktiv arbete med Risk Management på revisionsbyråerna samt i så fall hur detta går till och vilka risker som de då främst vill undvika vid accepterande av klienter. Vi vill även studera hur revisionsbyråerna hanterar de risker som de väljer att acceptera.Då vi hade uppfattningen att det är ohållbart för revisionsbyråerna att inte på något vis hantera de risker de ställs inför föll det sig troligt för oss at de större byråerna aktivt arbetar med Risk Management.

Background:Chronic heart failure (CHF) is a complex clinical condition. The higher survival rate after heart attack and other heart diseases, plus aging population, has led to more CHF patients. Symptoms can have negative impact on exercise capacity, ability to perform activities of daily living and quality of life. Heart failure clinics have been established to help better quality of life. Helping to stabilize and maintain patients´ health can reduce the need of hospital admission.
Kundkorts effekter på lönsamhet
Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka sambandet mellan kundkort, lojalitet och lönsamhet. Vidare ämnar vi kartlägga lojalitetsskapande åtgärder och hur dessa påverkar lönsamheten. Metod: För att uppfylla det beskrivande syftet med uppsatsen, valde vi att kvalitativt undersöka hur två företag i petroleumbranschen arbetar med lojalitetsprogram. Intervjuer genomfördes med ansvariga för kundkort på AB Svenska Shell och Svenska Statoil AB. Empirin analyserades sedan med hjälp av teorier om Customer Relationship Management, relationsmarknadsföring samt lojalitet och lönsamhet.

Background: Studies that have been made in male-dominated organisations shows that only few women have succeeded in advancing to the higher positions in all businesses. Statistics shows that merely 4 % of the managers in all building companies are female. The manager role has earlier always been classified as most suitable for men resulting in barriers for women who strive for management positions. This problem is now very renowned and is called the glass ceiling. To improve the current situation, both the organization's structure and culture, have to be modernized for more women to succeed and get the courage to get into the industry.

Critical Management Studies (CSR), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), change and communication, this study analyses how a change of implementing revised SRI
communication is carried out at Handelsbanken Asset Management, existing motives for the change in communication, and how key actors can affect the process. A participant observation and in-depth interviews were carried out enfolding a discussion that contributed
with a critical analysis and discussion, concluding external motives to be dominant and that key actors of the change process are influential to a various extent.

Conclusions: A myriad of interpretations are possible when studying and discussing a particular organizational culture. As culture can not be removed from its context, we illuminate the effects that the internationalization process has with regards to unifying the organizational culture in our particular setting studied. Maintaining however, that a reflexive look at this culture shows no single interpretation as being sufficient, we try to expose its richness and ambiguities through a three perspective approach..

The main purpose of this essay was to understand and discuss the problems the Swedishmunicipalities have when missing the profession in cultural preservation area. I have madetwo case studies where competence has been present in one and absent in the other. FurtherI intend to find out what material the Swedish municipalities needs in their work with theconservation of built environment.The first case describes Vallentunas main intersection and the adjustments needed toseparate it from the local rail road. It identifies what the municipality deems importantsuch as sight lines and access to the old church area. The ability to illuminate these itemshad not been possible without the knowledge and early participation of an expert in thefield of cultural resource management.The second case revolves around an old croft in Österåker that was subject for a plannedresidential area.

Service Design is a relatively new, unexplored and exciting phenomenon that through an interdisciplinary work methodology designs services. A discussion has been going on for a long time regarding whether there is a difference between products and services. Services are often classified as immaterial, heterogeneous, non-storable and inseparable in relation to products. A question that arises is if something specific characterises the work methodology used regarding service design. The aim with this paper is thus to explain the work methodology when working with service design.
Turnaroundarbete i hyperkonkurrens - En fallstudie av SAS Sverige AB
Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att åskådliggöra hur SAS Sverige AB:s turnaroundarbete i en hyperkonkurrens samt hur bolaget försökt återskapa lönsamhet med nya strategiska verktyg. För att kunna svara på vår frågeställning utgick vi från en branschanalys för att förklara orsakerna till att ett behov av turnaround uppstod. För att sedan analysera turnaroundarbetet användes klassiska teorier inom turnaround management. Den framtida nya strategin analyserades sedan utifrån Blue Ocean Strategy. Slutsatsen på rapporten konstaterar att den höga kostnadsbilden inom SAS bidrog till att krisen blev så omfattande.

This document is a summary of my work to create a project management system for a small firm working with computer graphics. The intention is to manage customers, projects, images and invoices in the easiest possible way. To make the system as flexible as possible a web-interface was chosen which makes it possible to access the system from any computer, making it independent of any particular operating system. The only requirement on the user environment is that the computer must have a connection to the Internet to be able to access the system. The different techniques that have been used to develop the project management system is primarily Ruby on Rails and a MySQL database.

Business etiquette is therefore, within the world of business, an interesting area to study.Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to clarify what knowledge and understanding companies, listed on the Swedish stock exchange, possess towards business etiquette, their viewpoint on etiquette education and finally to ascertain whether or not those companies perceive business etiquette to be pivotal to success.Methodology: In order to attain our purpose of this essay we found it most suitable to utilize both a quantitative and qualitative research method.
