Which expectations did leading debaters place on fiction as an instrument in achieving societal changes hoped for by introducing the Public library? How can the value of fiction be described in relation to the mission of the Public library, according to these moulders of public opinion? Place and timeframe for this thesis is Sweden around the years 1905-1912 (period of formation of the Public library here according to the Anglo-American model). Starting point is the assumption that the Public library as a political institution is characterized by an ideological function. It produces meaning and norms, it sets standards of value. Method used is based on close reading and comparison.

The purpose of this thesis is to identify and define Key Perfomance Indicators (KPIs) and value adding services which are used to describe the quality of Forias logistics services from different aspects. The KPIs should be attractive to both Foria and their customers, with the aim to strengthen the interaction between both parties.The basis for this work is a research in which a literature review and a survey of the market for Swedish logistic service providers were carried out. An analysis of the present situation of Foria was carried out, where a number of people in the company were interviewed. These elements were used together with definitions of KPIs to perform the analysis of the work.The result of the work is ten KPIs that have been created and developed for Foria and which are considered to be attractive to both Foria and the selected customers. The KPIs are: · ECO-driving (binary) ? the company has ECO-driving-educated drivers· ECO-driving (comparison figure) ? all drivers individual driving and its resulting exhaust emissions are compared· The environmental impact ? a total of exhaust emissions from all vehicles belonging to a single business, measured in tonne-kilometres· Complete order ? portion of fields with accurate information (in an order), with the possibility of error categorization· Delivery reliability ? time difference between expected and actual delivery, average for all orders· On-time ? the number of days and hours of difference between the expected and the actual time, for all activities of the order· On-time (activity) ? the number of hours and minutes of difference between the expected and the actual time, for each individual activity of the order· Divergence ? a categorization of all causes of divergence and its responsible department· Level of integration ? the level of cooperation between the logistic service provider and the customer· Customer satisfaction ? how well an order will meet the expectations of the customer The KPIs are described in detail with definitions, how they can be used and what is required to implement them in the service process of Foria.

When we, in the turn of the year 07/08 moved to Holma, Malmö,I and my cohabiter immediately joined the self-managementon our tenement yard, partly because we both missed havinga garden since we moved to an apartment, partly becauseof the rent reduction. The aim with this thesis is to examinehow the common outdoor environment in tenement yards isaffected when the tenets themselves are responsible for themaintenance. But also to see what social affects self-managementbrings. The purpose is to increase the understanding of howself-management works in practice and how we as landscapearchitects need to adjust ourselves and our design to create alasting design that works when the tenets are in charge of theirown outdoor environment.I have been studying a number of tenement yards with selfmanagement,both municipal and private tenement houses. I havestudied both their design and their self-management, how it isworking and how it is organized partly trough deep interviewsand also by questionnaires to the tenets of the yards in question.I found three tenement yards with some differences.

Syftet med studien var att studera äldre människors, boende i särskilt boende, känsla och upplevelse av egen livskvalitet. Frågeställningarna för studien var "Vad främjar och hindrar känslan och upplevelsen av livskvalitet hos äldre", "I vilket sammanhang och med vem upplever äldre hög livskvalitet" och " Hur har känslan och upplevelsen av livskvalitet förändrats efter det att man flyttat till ett särskilt boende". Valet av begreppen, välbefinnande, tillfredsställelse och lycka, är gjord utifrån Bengt Brüldes blandade livskvalitetsteori. Studien vilar således på Brüldes teori och tankar kring livskvalitet och hur livskvalitet kan undersökas.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats, där semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts med sex äldre personer boende i särskilt boende i en mindre kommun. Analysen skedde enligt DePoy och Gitlins fyra tanke- och handlingsprocesser vid kvalitativa analyser.

Abstract Apple Computers Inc. is known for their loyal and passionate followers. This study focuses on the brand communities and brand loyalty that is frequently seen among Apple customers. It focuses on the factors that create an apparent deep-set loyalty and passion towards their computers among Mac-users. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of why some consumers feel such a strong attraction to a company, its brand and its products.

Bakgrund: Allt fler svårt sjuka patienter får vård i hemmet. Områdesansvarig distriktssköterska i kommunal hemsjukvård ansvarar ensam för både omvårdnad och medicinska insatser kring patienten. En hög arbetsbelastning ökar risken för att göra fel när distriktssköterskan har ansvar för många patienter. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva distriktssköterskornas upplevelser av arbete inom kommunal hemsjukvård med omvårdnadsansvar för patienter i ordinärt boende. Metod: Kvalitativ metod med induktiv ansats användes i studien.

The idea for the thesis ?Construction and implementation of a mobile prototype; The Lovebomb? originates from doctoral candidates Rebecca Hansson and Tobias Skog from PLAY Research Group at the Interactive Institute in Gothenburg. The object of the master thesis is to construct two working LoveBomb prototypes, one mother console belonging to the LoveBomb and blueprints for both. The LoveBomb (the picture to the right shows a possible design) is intended to encourage people to express themselves emotionally when situated amongst strangers in public spaces. Two buttons control the device, which contains a radio transceiver.

One step towards industrializing the in-situ construction of concrete is to use prefabricated reinforcement. The purpose is presented in the frame of the creationtheology of Wingren. To be able to make the research and to answer the purpose of the essay, the following questions are essential:The human being is captive and redemption is liberation. If we are serious about that the gospel gives the human being rehabilitation, satisfaction, liberation and a life and a future with God, the essential question is which metaphor, a juridical or a biological, that speaks to the human being in the best way? What is the meaning of an accentshift from a juridical to a biological metaphor? How does the creationtheologhy of Wingren, from a biological metaphor, meets the situation of the existence for the human being, her longing for life, health and meaning? What kind of theological resources are present in the creationtheology of Wingren, in the confrontation with future theological challenges?The essay is stressing the need of pluralism in the interpretation of the gospel.

Ett förtroende till att omvårdnaden är säker och trygg måste kunna byggas upp. Patientens medverkan ger oftast en positiv utveckling av tillfrisknad och känns här viktig för patientens värdighet, integritet och självbestämmande.En av sjuksköterskans många uppgifter är att registrera en patients hjärtfrekvens via ett elektrokardiogram (EKG) på ordination i diagnostiskt syfte. En oro hos patienten, illabefinnande eller en nedsatt förmåga att medverka i EKG registrering kan påverka kvaliteten på ett EKG och kräver ett professionellt bemötande av sjuksköterskan.

In today's society there are a lot of offers towards consumers, where they actively have to choose the most appealing offer. In order for an offer to be attractive it must add value in line with the customers demand. Also, it requires that the offer provides a sufficient level of attraction so that the customer selects the particular product/service over another. Furthermore, each offer must exceed the expectations of the visitors to an event, so they feel that the event is something "extraordinary". We have chosen to study how LHC (Linkoping Hockey Club) works with marketing in order to improve the overall customer experience.

Today?s electrical grid companies understand that better knowledge of and information about their grid can help realize a smart grid network. One way to gain better knowledge and information about the low voltage network is to install measuring equipment on the substation transformer´s secondary low voltage side that measures the low voltage network losses for that specific substation. By doing so, grid companies can, due to the calculation of the low voltage network losses, identify and address issues such as illegal power dissipation, unmeasured power outtakes, and unsatisfied technical documentation for the substations low voltage network.During 2012, Mälarenergi Elnät AB had a total electrical network loss (both medium and low voltage network losses included) of three to four percent of their total distributed electrical volume. Converting this energy volume into a monetary figure this accounts for a loss of around 30 million Swedish crowns.

BakgrundMånga patienter i vården drabbas av vårdskador till följd av avvikelser i vården. Ett antal studier pekar på faktorer som påverkar patientsäkerheten, bland annat att hög arbetsbelastning, otillräcklig bemanning och långa arbetstider inverkar negativt. Inom intensivvård är uppmärksamhet och vaksamhet viktigt för att identifiera förändringar hos patienten. Flera studier visar att längre arbetspass och veckoarbetstid förknippas med ökad fysisk och psykisk trötthet och risk för minskad vaksamhet vilket medför ökad risk för att avvikelser inträffar.SyfteSyftet med studien är att undersöka hur införandet av behovsanpassad bemanning relaterar till medarbetarnas upplevelse av stress, tid för återhämtning och arbetstillfredsställelse samt till kostnader och aspekter på patientsäkerhet.MetodStudien har genomförts med hjälp av en kombination av metoder. Enkäter lämnades ut före och ett år efter införandet av bemanningsmodellen.

Inom den svenska byggbranschen anses pris ofta vara den faktor som har störst påverkan på fastighetsbolags val av entreprenör vid fastighetsköp. Denna studie har som intresse av att se vilka andra faktorer som påverkar detta val. Studiens utförande görs inom Storstockholm. Under senare år har relationsmarknadsföring vuxit fram som ett centralt begrepp inom marknadsföringslitteraturen. Med relationsmarknadsföring menas alla marknadsrelaterade aktiviteter vilka ämnar bygga långvariga relationer. Inom relationsmarknadsföringen står begrepp som kundnöjdhet, kundlojalitet och tillit i centrum. Vi fokuserar på det teoretiska avsnittet, specifikt på kundnöjdhet, samt hur de förväntningar som kundnöjdhet grundar sig på, formas och utvärderas.

The recent decades have been characterised by a trend where the public sector's been inspired by several methods and strategies from the private sector. The public library is in this case no exception. In this context there are different perspectives on whether or not this will lead to a dramatic change of the role and values of the traditional public library. The aim of this master's thesis is to make a contribution to a deeper understanding of the ideological conflicts within the Swedish public library and its relation to the market. In the literature of library and information science I have identified two separate discourses representing two contradictory systems of meaning concerning this relation.
