Bakgrund och problem: Begreppet Corporate Social Responsibility kan delas upp iekonomiska, sociala och miljömässiga aspekter. I takt med det växande klimathotet ökartrycket på företag att redovisa för de miljömässiga aspekterna. Då CSR-redovisningen ärfrivillig finns inga gällande lagar utan istället har principer och riktlinjer ifrån olikaorganisationer tagits fram. Flygbranschen har på senare tid hamnat i fokus förmiljödiskussionen dels genom ett ökat resande och dels genom EU: s förslag om attflygtrafiken ska ingå i handeln med utsläppsrätter. Det här leder fram tillproblemformuleringen i uppsatsen; Vad redovisar företag i flygbranschen gällandemiljöåtaganden och andra miljöaspekter?Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen är att kartlägga och analysera hur flygbranschen i Europaredovisar miljöaspekter och miljöåtaganden.

Kompaktaggregat är ett integrerat FTX- och FVP-system som används i passivhus. Vi har gjortenergiberäkningar i programmet VIP+ för att se hur kompaktaggregatet skulle kunna fungera ipassivhus i Sverige.De resultat vi har fått fram ur VIP+ visar att passivhus med ett installerat kompaktaggregat klararav att nå passivhuskraven ända upp till Skellefteå. De beräknade värdena understiger kraven förpassivhus, men en viss marginal behövs för att kraven ska nås även efter uppförandet avbyggnaden. Vi har även tolkat tekniska uppgifter på ett sätt som enligt oss har en positiv effektför passivhus på kallare orter. Därför tror vi inte att värdena för de tre nordligaste platserna ärhelt tillförlitliga.

Projektet innebär en nyprogrammering och ombyggnad av en stor 60-talsbyggnad, belägen framför det nationalromantiska "Kontrollkontoret" i Solna, Tomteboda. Det nya förslaget innebär yteffektiva student och forskarbostäder i mångfald. Från enkilda boendeceller till gemensamma boenden och radhusliknande lägenheter. Detta för att möta den efterfrågan av bostäder som ständigt ökar och för att anpassa den ekonomiska aspekten i att bygga bostäder så nära Stockholms city. En central fråga har varit att anpassa boendet efter buller, då platsen är utsatt för buller från olika håll; järnväg & motorväg.

Active sensors are used a lot in the society and industry, for example to gain better control over processes or to get proximity sensing features in different products. Within industry there is great interest in developing safe automation products that can be controlled with high accuracy but still at a low cost.The goal of this project is to develop a prototype of a non-contact rangefinder that measures distance using infrared light. The sensor is to be used for various applications in industries with relatively high accuracy and be Compact, but at a low cost. By implementing a rangefinder into a product, more accurate detections of an object?s presence can be done.In this project a new distance sensor, EPC600 from ESPROS, was used.

Photography has long been of importance for humans in aspects of community, sharing and documenting. It has previously only existed in analogue format and with larger cameras. We have presently reached a new generation of cameras and photography. The new smaller Compact cameras that are provided with most cellular phones take digital images of varying quality and accounts for a large part of photography. With the emergence of social media, photography and social interaction combined came photo applications with different features.

Is accountability possible in global environmental governance? The purpose ofthis thesis is to examine if accountability is possible in global environmental governance. From an accountability perspective the thesis tries to illuminate global environmental governance. An investigation about the conceptaccountability is made and the thesis also illuminates the possible problems that exist in global environmental governance which exist of such a large amounts of different and often private actors. By investigating and examine the concept of accountability from different aspects and by using Global Compact as a example of global environmental governance the thesis try to answer if accountability actually exist in global environmental governance and in what way it is possible to demand accountability.

Jag fångades av enkelheten i inredningsarkitekten Hans Johanssons konstruktioner, flexibiliteten och den eleganta lättheten i hans möbler, de nätta dimensionerna och sättet han använder materialet trä. I mitt examensarbete undersöker jag möjligheten att vidareutveckla hans konstruktioner för att passa ett modernt liv på gränsen mellan ute och inne.Hans Johansson, som i år fyller nittio, började arbeta med sin idé om möbler konstruerade av ramar som ihopfogas utan skruv eller beslag för mer än ett halvt sekel sedan. Kanske är det först nu, i en ny sorts trångboddhet, som tiden är mogen för hans demonterbara möbler. Sparsamheten i material, flexibilitet, inhemska träslag och platta paket känns tidslöst och modernt. Jag vill lära mig att tänka om mitt hantverk i nya banor och Hans Johanssons arbete innehåller en del av det jag tror mig sakna.

The purpose in this Bachelor degree project has been to create a visual identity and to design a compilation cassette for the small music distributor Kyrkvägen Kassett. My way of approaching the task has been to draw parallells between the cassette as an obsolete music format and more or less abandoned or anachronistic formats, materials and printing methods in the graphic design area. The result is a visual identity that is built upon materials and methods of production rather than specific visual elements. The work is to be seen as a tribute to the small non-profit producers of music and graphic design. As often done in the DIY movement, I chose to consider my lack of practical knowledge in these fields not as an encumbrance but as an asset and an incentive.

While the call for regulations against greenhouse gas emissions are louder then ever before, demand for oil is also at an all time high. Oil companies face the dilemma of making sound business without being perceived as environmental villains. In this essay I will examine how BP, one of the largest companies in the world, broke rank with the industry and devoted itself to being an environmental friendly oil company. The actions and motives of this change will be evaluated through up-to-date theories about company motivation to environmental adaptation. We see that BP:s transformation can be well explained through Simone Pulvers theory about the socially embedded company.

In this essay I analyze the way my collection of poetry relates to the concept cyclic. What is cyclic and what different interpretations are there concerning the concept? Which other related concepts are there regarding things that seem to reoccur regularly? How does the cyclical, the circular, relate to the linear in regard, for example, to the perception of time? Life often creates the sense that different phenomena and experiences repeat themselves. Different processes are conducted according to regular or irregular cyclical phases, situations seem familiar and events can be relived.         Starting from my writing project Sinnligt kviller, a collection of poems, I discuss these questions in themselves and the impact they have had on my collection. I describe the phenomenon cyclic as a result of the emotions and moods this term creates in a more or less decisive way.         The intention with this paper is to show how Sinnligt kviller offers different perspectives of and reflections upon the various feelings provoked by the cyclic in our lives, feelings that are given my own voice in the literary text under study..

sustainable development by reducing the energy use by EU:s directive of energy efficiency and the UN Convention. The second purpose is to present the technical solutions regarding ventilation and heating system that is being used in passive houses. This was done using 8 passive houses, 4 germany and 4 swedish passive houses. Even the international and Swedish system requirements for passive houses have been addressed in this project. The goal was also to explain how and why the mechanical system in passive houses has developed to the technology used today.

AbstractThe European union experience sometimes difficulties in advancing its work due to the member states? different ambitions and interests. The budget is one common tool that the member states can use in order to implement different policies according to their preferences. A large share of the budget is presently tied up in the CAP, the common agricultural policy. This share could be spent in another area and by doing so the EU could take a slightly different direction.

External shopping malls in the context of urban sprawl have, according too much of the previous research, had a negative connotation when it comes to urban planning and a sustainable society. In recent years, some of this research on the issue has changed course towards that it might be some positive opportunities and elements in this development, given that it follows certain patterns. This latter development is what we have chosen to look deeper into in our study, Sustainable urban sprawl.The shopping mall Allum in Partille center has been the subject of this case study, to explore how people's shopping habits and travels in connection with these purchases has been affected by the establishment of an external shopping mall from a sustainability perspective.The method we used was a questionnaire distributed at workplaces in Partille. The collected data were then analyzed by using some of the dominant urban planning theories, for thus underpin our analysis. We have supplemented the study with a collection of information on existing and planned shopping centers in Gothenburg region.Our study shows that external shopping centers located in already developed areas, with an existing social structure, can help to create a more Compact city with fewer and shorter shopping trips, and more sustainable transport choices when purchasing goods and services..
