Syftet med föreliggande studie är att få en ökad förståelse för vilken betydelse tennisturneringen Swedish Open har för Båstad genom att undersöka vilka effekter som evenemanget genererar utifrån en hållbarhetsaspekt.Studien utgår ifrån ett fenomenlogiskt och konstruktivistiskt synsätt. Vidare utgår den från en abduktiv forskningsansats med hjälp av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Denna kvalitativa metod görs med hjälp av egna primärkällor som består av tre djupintervjuer med nyckelpersoner som på olika sätt kommer i kontakt med Swedish Open. Ytterligar sex kortare intervjuer görs med lokalinvånare i olika åldrar..

Increased trade and exchange within the European Community has brought with it the need for less restricted circulation of judgments. The situation has improved greatly due to the enactment of Regulation (EC) No. 44/2001 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (the Brussels I Regulation).Despite recent improvements the proceedings are still time-consuming and difficult. Many creditors refrain from having judgments recognized and enforced as the proceedings cost too much time and are too time-consuming. Simulation means running a model of a system with suitable input and observing the corresponding output. Real-time environment simulation is a special kind of simulation used to simulate a control system's environment in real-time. This is done to test the control system before it is used in its real environment. In this project, computer simulation of a certain kind of environments, called track-based systems, is studied and a general model for track-based systems is developed. In this model, track layouts are represented by graphs, which is a flexible and extensible representation and a method for visualizing these layouts is presented.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur det fotografiska självporträttet används av ungdomar i tonåren och vilken betydelse det har i skapandet av den egna identiteten. Undersökningen besvarar frågeställningarna: På vilket sätt använder tonåringar den fotografiska bilden som redskap i sitt identitetsskapande? Hur kan fotografiet fungera som hjälpmedel för konstruktionen av självbilden? På vilket sätt väljer man att presentera bilden av sig själv? Hur kan man använda det jag sökande fotografiet i ett didaktiskt sammanhang och vad bör man vara uppmärksam på som pedagog? Insamling av empiriskt material till undersökningen har skett genom inhämtning av visuellt bildmaterial från en community på internet, via kvalitativa intervjuer med en grupp informanter samt via en litteraturstudie. Parallellt med det skrivna arbetet har jag genomfört en undersökande gestaltning på communityn bilddagboken.se. I gestaltningen har jag fotograferat mig själv kontinuerligt samt publicerat bilderna för att inta en betraktad-position.

Background:Malnutrition is a nursing issue that causes both physical and psychological suffering of those who are affected. In order to achieve care that is safe and has a good quality, it must be based on the assessment and actions of the state. District nurses play a central role in this work. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe the district nurses' work with identifying and addressing malnutrition in older people in nursing Home Care of the Community. Method: Six interviews with district nurses were conducted.

Millions of people are using search engines every day when they are trying to find information on the Internet. The purpose of this report is to find out how people formulate search queries. The result in this report is based on an empirical study which is based on a search log from the Swedish search engine Seek.se.One of the results in this thesis is that nearly all search queries are based on keywords..

The aim of this study was to increase our understanding of how secondary schools handle the different forms of bullying in different arenas. The questions we were asking us was how schools work to prevent and treat against bullying based on plans of action, how the schools are responsible in the bullying issues and how the schools and welfare officers have taken account of sex linkage in bullying issues. Our study is based on the result from seven qualitative semi- structured interviews with secondary school welfare officers in Sweden.  The study results show that traditional form of bullying takes place through verbal assault, physical violence, ostracism and glances. Welfare officers coincide that there are gender differences in the approach of bullying.

It has become increasingly common for cities and municipalities to take greater account of the place marketing, and to see the physical location as a brand. An early step in this process is to make the image measurements of the place, in order to develop better marketing strategies. A method often used in tourism research for this type of measurements is Etchner and Ritchie's theoretical framework. The framework is initially designed to measure visitor's image of a tourist destination.Almost all previous research in this area is based on the visitor's perspective, but Olofsson and Skredsvik have used this framework to measure a location's image among the residents. They feel that the residents of a place can be seen as ambassadors of the place because they know the site well.

Internationally most Internet trade related payments are performed with the use of a credit card based payment system on the Internet. Payment against invoice is still most common when trading over the Internet in Sweden. The security development, comfort and timesaving indicate that credit card based payment systems on the Internet soon will have a breakthrough in Sweden as well. The Swedish legislation concerning payment is neither especially extensive nor suited to electronic payments but to payments performed with notes and coins. When the legal effects, of a payment performed with a credit card based payment system on the Internet, set in is not fixed.

This essay examines resident experiences and notions of the Gotland countryside and their ideas about the future. In particular the countryside is studied as both space and place. In space and place people interacting. People are therefore important components in the study of the landscape. One can say that the landscape and the interaction between people affect resident experiences and notions of the countryside, as well as people certainly affect the landscape.

Problemområde: Vi intresserar oss främst för är hur livsstilsentreprenören påverkar sin verksamhet, i vårt fall inom vandrarhemsbranschen. Då det oftast är en mindre verksamhet som styrs utav ett fåtal aktörer, vill vi undersöka i vilken utsträckning värdens livsstilsval påverkar verksamheten. Syfte: Vårt syfte är att utveckla kunskap om och förståelse för livsstilsentreprenörens roll i den svenska vandrarhemsnäringen. Metod: För att uppfylla vårt syfte har vi valt att arbeta med en kvalitativ metod. Vi har genomfört fyra djupintervjuer med värdar på två lantliga- och två stadsnära vandrarhem i Götaland.

Entreprenörer är viktiga för Sveriges ekonomiska tillväxt och företagens konkurrenskraft blir alltmer beroende av entreprenörens förmåga att tillgodogöra sig och använda sig av ny kunskap. Målet med denna studie var att undersöka hur entreprenörers erfarenhetsutbyte kan stödjas av IT. För att veta hur IT kan stödja erfarenhetsutbytet har entreprenörernas behov av erfarenhetsutbyte identifierats. Studien har visat att entreprenörernas erfarenhetsutbyte kan stödjas av en mängd olika IT-lösningar. Exempelvis skulle behovet av möten för att diskutera kunna tillgodoses av nätbaserade diskussionsforum, chatt och blogg.

The aim of this thesis has been to examine how the risk for the swine flu was represented in the Swedish Radio news broadcast Ekot 16.45 during different phases of the pandemic in 2009. We wanted to study how the risk was described in different discourses and periods? Were the participants in the reporting calming or warning the listeners in relations to different aspects of the swine flu? What consequences for the community were reported in the broadcasting?To find the answers to our questions, we analysed 13 features about the swine flu broadcasted in Ekot?s main news broadcast Ekot 16.45. We used critical discourse analysis inspired by Norman Fairclough.We identified four types of discourses in our text, a journalistic discourse, a medical discourse, a nationalistic discourse and an authority discourse. The main discourse was the medical one.

To end up as an immigrant in an unknown country and to try to participate in the majority society means both psychological and physical difficulties where their whole life is changing. Gemensamma Krafter is a prevention changing work in a housing area in Borlänge. It works among other things as a meeting place for people from different cultures. The aim with this study was to describe and to get increased understanding for the lives of a number of immigrant women who lives in Borlänge/Sweden and which importance ?Gemensamma Krafter? has had for them.

To Swedes in general and, to hunters in particular, there is a great interest for moose (Alces alces), witch is Sweden?s largest deer species. In the province of Öland (Sweden?s second largest island) the local people show a great interest for the moose existence, both for consumptive (hunting) and non-consumptive use (tourism). This became apparent in 2002 when the moose hunters on Öland voluntary agreed to temporarily postpone the moose hunt on the island.
