Delaktighet och frånvaro - Blivande fäders förhandlingar om faderskapets innebörd
The aim of this qualitative study was to explore which inner conceptions about the abused older women the professional social workers had and how they experienced the enconter of an abused old woman in an intimate partner relation. The theoretical background is social construction by Berger and Luckmann. This theory was uset to analyze the transcribed interviews. This study is based on nine interviews with five professionals in social services, three volunteers from the voluntary sector and one social worker who worked in a community based support group for abused older women. The result of this study shows that older women were often abused, by a relative they were dependent on, in their home.
Personligt ombud - en länk mellan individen och samhället
Människor med psykisk sjukdom har ofta på grund av sina funktionsnedsättningar stora svårigheter att ta kontakt med myndigheter vilket medför att de inte får sina behov tillgodosedda. I syfte att förbättra livsvillkoren och samordna insatser för dessa människor startades verksamheter med personligt ombud. Syftet med studien är att belysa olika samhällsaktörers erfarenheter av personligt ombud. De forskningsfrågor vi utgår från för att besvara syftet är hur aktörerna upplever och beskriver innebörden av det uppdrag de personliga ombuden utför samt hur de upplever att personliga ombud påverkat människor med psykiska funktionsnedsättningars möjigheter till integrering och delaktighet i samhället. Genom att intervjua flera enskilda aktörer från nätverket kring människan med psykisk funktionsnedsättning belyser studien vilken betydelse personligt ombud har för individen.

Trade was assigned as a Community responsibility at the founding of the European Community in 1957. It was then recognized that Europe would achieve a greater international influence if it were to negotiate trade deals with one voice. Since then, the basic rule has been that the European Commission negotiates agreements on behalf of the EC, and presents the agreements negotiated for approval in the European Council. Today, the 25-member European Union is the largest trading power in the world, and most member states have decades of experience of coordinating their national trade interests into a common position. However, partly as a result of the complex nature of the trade decision-making processes it is sometimes problematic to identify who or what really influences EU trade policy.

Denna magisteruppsats har fokus på hur aktörer i en kommun med ett vikande befolkningsunderlag ser på fenomenet. Informanterna som medverkar är politiker, tjänstemän samt representanter från näringslivet. En kommun ingår i studien, det är Finspångs kommun i Östergötland. Uppsatsen undersöker hur dessa ser på frågan om ett vikande befolkningsunderlag. Hur man resonerar kring fenomenet och hur samspelet och samverkan mellan aktörerna uppfattas.

problemet. För att skapa webbtjänsten genomfördes först en grundlig research.
Vi kartlade konkurrenter, undersökte olika sätt att finansiera produkten och
hur upphovsmännen skulle få betalt. Resultatet blev en webbtjänst där
användaren bland annat kan lägga upp sina alster, ta del av andras och även
använda scenen (en idé som utvecklades under arbetets gång) där användaren kan
boka tid för liveframträdanden, alternativt använda den som distributionskanal
för deras uppladdade verk..
Analytiker på den svenska aktimarknaden : Ett nätverk av siffermakare
This study highlights the structures and networks thatexist among financial analysts on the Swedish financial market. The study isbased on nine semi-structured interviews with buy- and sell-side analysts, anindependent analyst and an Investor Relations Manager.The theoretical framework of the study is based on acombination of the research fields Behavioral Finance and Social Studies ofFinance. These two research fields have proven to be a good basis for thequalitative approach used in the analysis. The study is divided into four thematic areas: Fundamentals / Psychology, Independence and consensus, Ranking and Social network.The results show that there are a large number offactors, structures and interpersonal relationships that affect how analystsmake their decisions and conduct their analysis. Among other things, theinterdependence between analysts and their counterparts prohibits the movetowards a more clear system for compensation.

A large part of the time losses in production in modern manufacturing industry are a cause of unplanned interruptions in production. In this essay we have studied the effects of an unplanned interruption in production. The study was performed during one month on a press production line at Volvo Cars Body Components (VCBC) in Olofström. The effects of the interruptions have been studied on the basis of two perspectives of the environment of the production. The study started at the level of automation and was mainly done as a survey of the unplanned interruptions in production.

Middle managers in social care find themselves in a middle position. The middle management position involves demands from several interested parties. The demands affect and generate feelings both within themselves and within others and the middle managers have to deal with them all.The aim of this study was to investigate the social care middle manager?s personal experiences of emotions in work.We have completed interviews with four middle managers who are assigned to carry out social care. When doing the interviews we used an interview guide divided into different interview areas.
Den urbana ekobyn : En fallstudie av det sociala livet i Understenshöjden
Studiens syfte var att undersöka användningen av personlighetstest respektive begåvningstest hos svenska arbetsgivare, för att få en förståelse till vilket syfte och värde det anses tillföra hos svenska arbetsgivare. Samt inbringa förståelse till att personlighetstest i Sverige används i större frekvens jämfört med begåvningstest. Genom en enkätstudie och en semistrukturerad intervju framkom att det finns skäl att tro att skillnaderna beror på okunskap hos testanvändarna samt att organisationers urvalsmetoder kan vara svåra att förändra. Det framkom även att det är möjligt att personlighet värderas högre än vad begåvning gör hos svenska arbetsgivare. Det medför att det återfinns skäl att tro att kulturella faktorer har en större påverkan än vad tidigare forskning visat..

Landscape architects are able to influence on how landscapes are to be maintained and developed. The negative impact of infrastructure on wildlife has become a critical problem in Sweden and other parts of Europe. Wildlife crossings has been developed as a solution for the problems of road barriers in the landscape. The crossings are made to give animals a better opportunity to cross roads.

This thesis aims to investigate what requirements companies have in order to achieve a successful legislative compliance control. The implementation of an environmental management system can help the company to structure their business and succeed with their environmental legislative compliance.Both small and medium sized businesses perceive that it is difficult and time consuming because the legislation can be difficult to interpret if you do not have the required knowledge. There are many companies that hire help in the form of consultants who audit their compliance, but this leads to a risk that the company will be exposed when the knowledge does not remain in the company if the consultant would cancel the cooperation. There are not so many tools today for businesses to obtain good legal compliance. The methods used are usually checklists included in the control program, and it costs a lot of resources to do everything needed.This study strives to deliver the expressed needs of the businesses.
Problembilder av ungdomars politiska utanförskap - En studie av projektet ?Demokrati för alla?
Aims: The aim of this study is to describe how youth?s political exclusion is constructed as asocial problem. This is done through a study of a project which aim is to engage young peoplein politics.Method and theory: By interviewing the project?s manager and developer as well as eightparticipating young people different constructions of the problem of youth political exclusionhas been analyzed using the social constructionist perspective on social problems.Findings: The dominant perspective found in the empirical material includes framing youngpeople?s lack of political knowledge and self-confidence as the reason for their politicalexclusion. Even though the Youth Board (ungdomsstyrelsen) in Sweden officially views allyoung people as a resource, when youth politics are implemented through projects, this is notthe view that young people meet.

The purpose of this study was to investigate, through a qualitative survey, the need of knowledge and strategy in organisations today and tomorrow. The empirical investigation is built on a semi structured interview that was conducted on nine different companies in Gislaveds community. The companies were from three different branches namely: tree, metal and polymer. Three interviews were conducted in each branch.The result from the interviews showed that the globalisation had put the companies under hard competition which had made the need for rationalisation and effectivness more apparent. Having said this, the demands on the organisation and the individuals within it will constantly increase.
Vilka avancemangsfaktorer påverkar män och kvinnor att avancera på karriärstegen? : kvantitativ undersökning inom revisionsbranschen
Purpose: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explain how advancement factors affect men and woman to advance in their careers in the accounting profession. Methodology: A positivist approaches and a deductive approach, with a quantitative method was used to obtain the results of the analysis. Theoretical perspective: The theory describes the career stages, audit assistant, approved auditor, registered auditor, manager and partner. Their responsibilities and what it takes to get there is explained. Theory section also describes the different advancement factors from a gender perspective. Empirical: The empirical material is based on a survey conducted in respondents who represent the five career stages. The collected data is then analyzed using statistical tests. Conclusion: The analysis shows that the identified career advancement factors that limit and stimulates the male and female auditors? career ladder.
