AbstractThis paper discusses how system development methods today support communication between system developers and their customers and end users. Today there are many system development methodologies with different aims and emphases. It is difficult, however, to find among these methods those who promote good and effective communication with customers because so many of these are very technically rooted and not as much directed towards the soft aspects of systems development - i.e. Human aspects. Our own experiences tells that a simple interview can be initialized without us having an idea what to ask the customer about or how to structure it up - nonetheless it?s done, but the outcome is just chance.

Kommunikation med hörselskadade patienter inom vården : en deskriptiv studie

Objective: From the patient?s perspective describe communication difficulties, which can arise, and how they are handled in their contact with public health care and illustrate their needs of communication.Method: A study of literature was carried out to receive a background and an insight in previous research concerning the subject area. Twelve women with hearing loss was asked to complete a questionnaire, with open questions, regarding communication difficulties in health care situations.Sample: For the literature review, scientific papers were selected via the database, PubMed using relevant keywords. Seven were selected for closer review. For the survey study twelve women were asked to participate which ten of those responded.Results: The study of literature shows that communication difficulties occur in public health care between patients with hearing loss and the nursing staff.

Teknik för en flerskiktadwebbapplikation

The report analyses if some common problems can be avoided by using modern technology. As a reference system ?Fartygsrapporteringssystemet? is used. It is an n-tier web application built with modern technology at time, 2003-2004. The aim is to examine whether ASP.Net MVC, Windows Communication Foundation, Workflow Foundation and SQL Server 2005 Service Broker can be used to create an n-tier web application which also communicate with other systems and facilitate automated testing.

Spridning av innovation i högre utbildning : En studie av spridningen av Videochat vid Högskolan Dalarna

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att beskriva och analysera spridningen av en innovation, Videochat, inom Högskolan Dalarna för att utifrån det lägga förslag på fortsatt arbete för att öka spridningen av Videochat.Frågorna som legat till grund för uppsatsen är:Vad är Videochattens spridningstakt inom Högskolan Dalarna?På vilka grunder har Videochat anammats inom Högskolan Dalarna?I de fall man inte har anammat Videochat, på vilka grunder man gjort det valet?Var och hur kan åtgärder sättas in för att stimulera spridningen av Videochat?Undersökningen har baserats på ett webbaserat frågeformulär bland Högskolan Dalarnas undervisande personal och frågorna i formuläret utarbetades med hjälp av förberedande intervjuer med nyckelpersoner inom Högskolan Dalarna.Undersökningen visar att användningen av Videochat har spridits olika långt på de olika akademierna och på två av fyra akademier anses det finnas ett behov av särskilda åtgärder för att stimulera spridningstakten. Den främsta anledningen till att börja använda Videochat är möjligheten att föreläsa för nätstudenter och campusstudenter samtidigt. Undersökningen visar samtidigt att anledningarna för att använda Videochat skiljer sig mellan de olika akademierna.Ett antal åtgärder föreslås för att stimulera spridning på de två akademier med lägst andel användare av Videochat där de viktigaste går ut på att öka kunskapen om Videochat och dess fördelar..

SAMSPEL OCH LÄSFÖRSTÅELSE- Lärares upplevelser av samspel med lässvaga elever.

The purpose of my research was to develop new knowledge about teachers' experiences of interaction between teachers and students with weak reading comprehension and how these teachers feel that the phenomenon of interaction is expressed in a school context. A focus-group interview with four teachers who have been employed between 4-25 years have been conducted with a hermeneutic research approach as a basis for understanding teachers' perceptions of the phenomenon of interaction. The results suggest that the interaction and communication is an important part of the work. In the communication and interaction results show that concepts such as dialogue, development , understanding and rhetoric are tools that teachers work with in order to develop a better reading comprehension for students..

Purpose: The aim of this thesis was to study and obtain greater understanding on how Swedish municipalities use external communication and branding strategies to gain and attract more residents. The key questions to be answered in this thesis were: What does the external communication look like in the selected municipalities? Are the selected municipalities trying to establish their own brand? What does the work on creating the brand look like??Method/Material: This thesis is based on material collected trough interviews with people working with external communication in eleven swedish municipalities. The selected municipalities where divided into two groups based on their negative or positive population growth between 2005 and 2012.

The main purpose of this essay is to through theories about internal communication, channels to communicate through and change management study how these can be related to the processes at the Swedish Consumer Agency due to its future relocation. The main question within this essay is therefore:- How has the internal communication and the change management at the Swedish Consumer Agency developed in comparison with the prescribed theories?This essay is divided into three different parts (ideal, reality, ideal/reality) which can be derived to the essays theory, result and analysis chapters. The theories are the ideal while the result describes the internal communication and the change management during the process (the reality). Arbetsmotivationens påverkan på arbetsplatsinnovation : En kvalitativ studie om hur medarbetare motiveras till innovation på arbetsplatsen

Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur en arbetsplats som är inriktad på individer med psykiska funktionsnedsättningar arbetar med arbetsplatsinnovationer och hur det kan relateras till arbetsmotivationen. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod där vi har genomfört åtta intervjuer med sju medarbetare samt deras chef. Fokus har legat på följande kategorier: arbetsplatsen, kommunikation, motivation och innovation. Utifrån vårt syfte formade vi med hjälp av dessa kategorier en intervjuguide med semistrukturerade frågor, en för chefen och en för medarbetarna. Resultatet visade att medarbetarna i stora drag arbetar med omvårdnadsarbete och motiveringsarbete.

AbstractPropose/Aim: The aim of this paper is to examine why the view of the conceptions, within the field of professional information and communication, seem to differ within the labour market of Sweden. This paper will investigate the two main professional roles that are at the centre of the field?s confusion and disorder. These are the Information Specialist and the Communication Specialist. The main question here is to answer whether there is a significant difference between the two or not and also gain knowledge about why the two titles are not used consequently within the labour market.Material/Method: The method used for this study is of a qualitative character.

Inkrementell innovation : En studie om hur inkrementell innovation kan generera fler kunder på en industriell marknad

SammanfattningBakgrund: Tjeders är ett anrikt företag i Malmköping som tillverkar larm och signalutrustning. I dagsläge känner Tjeders att deras varor och tjänster befinner sig i en slutfas i produktionscykeln, där vinsterna tas hem. Detta leder till att nya produkter och tjänster bör utvecklas.Metoden: Examensarbete har präglats av ett hermeneutiskt synsätt och en kvalitativ metodik. Teorin grundar sig i litteraturstudier och empirin på öppenriktade intervjuer samt omvärldsanalys i form av mediascanning. Den praktiska metoden har följt TAIDA, vilket är en övergripande modell för hur scenarioplanering sker.Diskussionen: I diskussionen sammanställs teorin med empirin där behandlas resonemangen om hur Tjeders ska gå vidare med de framkomna scenariona samt förslag kring handlade utifrån dessa.Resultatet: Examensarbete har resulterat i två scenariokors som behandlar teknik och marknad, scenariokorsen konstruerades genom en kreativ process där det insamlade materialet bearbetades.

Produktutveckling utifrån nya kundinsikter

Syftet med denna studie var att identifiera problem och behov som byggare i Sverige stöter på i sin vardag samt anordna en workshop där produktutveckling utifrån dessa behov diskuteras, samt hur denna information kan användas i produktutvecklingen. Studien grundar sig i teorier om innovation, behov och kvalitet, behovsidentifiering, innovationsspridning, produktlivscykel och metoden NABC: Need, Approach, Benefit, Competition. Grunden till arbetet är en föreställning att produktanvändare har behov som dem själva inte är medveten om. Genom att utgå från dessa omedvetna behov kan en bättre produkt utformas. Empatisk design (deltagande observation) användes för att kunna upptäcka outtalade behov samt skapa en god förståelse för byggarnas naturliga arbetsmiljö.

Sex, ansvar och alkoholberusning : 6 ungdomars syn på kommunikation om ja och nej till sex

The purpose of this essay was to examine young people's view of how intoxication influences the communication and responsibility in sexual situations between two heterosexual adolescents, and to explore how young people define rape.The main questions were to examine how young people describe the communication of "yes" and "no" in sexual meetings, and who is responsible for that communication. Other questions included examining how the interviewees viewed a situation where a girl shows and/or says "no" and a boy still ignores her sexual integrity.The study was based on six qualitative interviews.The interviewees considered non-verbal communication about both "yes" and "no" to sex in a sober condition superior to verbal communication. The study also showed that the sexual responsibilities for girls increase during intoxication, while the responsibilities for boys decrease. A majority of the interviewees considered that a girl who didn't want to participate in sex must be very explicit when expressing her "no", and if not, there was an understanding that a boy can misinterpret or ignore a "no". Rape was by some defined as an act done against one's will, while others claimed that several explicit "no"s had to be infringed to classify it as rape..
