In the United States, see recommendations for cardiac safety of sports arenas but also to health and fitness facilities. However, this does not exist in Sweden today. Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the health- and fitness facilities today are equipped with respect to cardiac safety and specifically relating to preparedness for cardiac arrest. Method: Quantitative data are collected and compiled with the help of a questionnaire. The questionnaire contained 19 questions in total.

Background: Pervious research indicates that communication between patient and nurse has shortcomings. For the nurse, difficulties in care giving may emerge when the nurse and patient cannot understand each other. Research also shows that patients? participation in their care become more difficult by lack of communication. The care giving of patients who speak a different language is seen as a challenge by the nurse.
Lärares uppfattningar om arbetet med återkoppling i en lärplattform
The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject. I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Through ?assessment for learning? we can help the students to improve their self-assessment and understanding of the learning process.
Livstillfredsställelse och hälsa hos unga vuxna
Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva unga vuxnas livstillfredsställelse/livskvalitet och hälsa och att jämföra om det finns skillnader mellan män och kvinnor. För att samla in relevanta data, har en empirisk, kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie genomförts med en beskrivande design med jämförande inslag.Undersökningen utfördes på det sociala nätverket Facebook på Internet med hjälp av enkäten Life Satisfaction Questionnaire (LSQ) som är ett beprövat instrument för att skatta upplevd livstillfredsställelse/livskvalitet och hälsa. Studien utfördes på 67 unga vuxna mellan 19-30 år. Resultatet visade att de unga vuxna skattade sin livstillfredsställelse/livskvalitet relativt högt, med högst skattning i faktorn Fysiska symtom, och lägst i faktorn Kvaliteten i vardagslivets aktiviteter/roliga. Dock fanns en ganska stor spridning mellan svaren, med några maximala skattningar och några extremt låga skattningar.

The idea with this study is to examine if there are a connection between how optimistic people are in relation to how stressed they feel. The result from the survey is based on materials from a questionnaire has been sent to fifty persons of varying age and sexes. The questionnaire has also been sent to students from Karlstad University but also to friends and acquaintances. The data is measured with SE- and LOT-tests. The issues concerned in which scope respondents experiences themselves stressed and optimistic and how the connection is between experienced stress and optimism in relation to results on the figure tests.
Överskottsinformation från hemliga tvångsmedel : en ny reglering?
Organizational democracy has been a popular research area in recent decades but the implementation in real organizations is slow (Kokkinidis, 2012; Verdorfer, Weber, Unter Rainer & Seyr, 2013). Several researchers (Schön Jansson, 2012; Falkheimer, Heide & Johansson, 2013) argue that communication practitioners have a key role in democratic processes and that because their job role is under constant change there are only a few modern studies regarding the subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how communication practitioners in private and public organizations experience their role in the process of internal communication and to what extent they are aware of, and work with internal organizational democracy.The practitioners we interviewed had a strong feeling that they were a support function for the business and the organizational management. As a result of the study it is clear that communication practitioners are very loyal to their employers and to the organization they work for. They are, therefore, not neutral in their professional role and argue that their task is to represent the management's interests.
Hur kommunicerar fackförbundet Unionen med sina medlemmar? : Påverkas kommunikationen av det minskade antalet lokala klubbar?
The purpose of this study is to investigate differences of how the Swedishemployees union ?Unionen? communicates with its members, on one hand thosewho are members of local union clubs and on the other non-club members. Thenumber of non-club members has increased due to labour market changes implyingthat workplaces have been fragmented and hence affect the possibility to form localunion clubs.The questions posed in the study are: How does Unionen communicate with itsmembers? How does the communication differ between club members and non-clubmembers? What are the preferences of Unionen´s members as far as communicationwith the central organization? What kind of information do the members seek andhow do they find it? What values does Unionen represent? Are there differencesbetween the messages that Unionen is sends out and how members and non-clubmembers, respectively, perceive them?A case study method has been used applying both quantitative and qualitativeanalyses. Quantitative methods have been used in illustrating the number ofdiscussion subjects at Unionen´s website, the members needs for receivingcommunication and channel usage while qualitative methodologies have been usedin interviews with Unionen´s members, club chairmen and union representatives aswell as semiotic picture analyses and analyses based on methods of Uses andgratifications theory.One conclusion of the study is that two significant differences of communicationhave been found between members and non-club members.

Syftet med studien var att belysa hur motivation på arbetsplatsen kan betraktas från ett inre och yttre perspektiv, med utgångspunkt från ett antal specifika faktorer såsom samhörighet, kompetens, autonomi och kontroll i tillvaron. 126 respondenter, 99 kvinnor och 27 män besvarade en enkät som bestod av demografiska frågor, frågor kring chefens stöttande av autonomi, frågor om samhörighet, kompetens och arbetsmotivation samt ett testbatteri bestående av IMI scale, Work Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation Scale och Locus of Control. Studiens resultat visar att chefens stöttande av autonomi påverkade de anställdas inre arbetsmotivation positivt. Studien visar även på att det finns ett svagt samband mellan inre arbetsmotivation och tillfredsställelsen av de anställdas behov av autonomi och samhörighetAbstractThe purpose of this study was to see how work place motivation can be seen from an intrinsic and extrinsic perspective, with starting point from specific factors such as relatedness, competence, autonomy and control. The 126 respondents of the study, 99 women and 27 men, answered a questionnaire that consisted of a few demographic questions, questions about if the boss is supportive of autonomy, questions about relatedness, competence and work place motivation.

AbstractDuring recent years the climate in recruiting new personnel has hardened as a result of high levels of employment and increasing competition in labour market. In order to resolve this problem, organisations have to adapt new strategies to attract and meet the demands of potential employees who have the required competence to meet job requirements.The aim of this study has been to examine a well functioning work place in order to elucidate explicit examples of what employees consider positive, and what can be ascertained as positive deviations. Narratives emanating from the unit manager and personnel illustrate their views on the positive influences found in their working place. Another ambition is to increase awareness and understanding about the factors that promote satisfaction in the workplace and positive deviation; and to utilise this knowledge.Traditional research on organisations has frequently focused on problems. The theoretical point of departure of this study is based on Positive Organizational Scholarship, abbreviated as POS.
Livskvalitet hos ungdomar En beskrivande och jämförande studie
Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur ungdomar i åldersgruppen 16-19 år upplever sinlivskvalitet samt att undersöka om det finns skillnader i hur flickor och pojkar upplever sinlivskvalitet. Studien genomfördes på en gymnasieskola i Mellansverige i januari 2008 och ären empirisk kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie med beskrivande och jämförande design. Sammanlagtdeltog 90 elever, 47 flickor och 43 pojkar. Författarna använde sig av instrumentet LifeSatisfaction Questionnaire (LSQ). Huvudresultatet visade att hela undersökningsgruppenskattade högst livskvalitet i faktorn fysiska symtom.

The purpose of the study is to observe how the participants of the study interacted musically through verbal, non-verbal and musically resonant expressions. The work as a personal assistant is sometimes associated with certain problems. Studies have shown that personal assistants often experience indistinct rules and roles concerning what should or should not be included in their duties. This study was undertaken to evaluate problems associated with the profession as a personal assistant, how widespread they are and how they are dealt with. Specifically, the study evaluates if the personal assistants have to do duties that they consider they are not assigned to do. Different roles (formal as informal) are also discussed which may be of current interest in this study, but also how we see people on basis of ethics and moral.
