Arbetet behandlar en tätorts utveckling i förhållande till en större stad och i anslutning till värdefull natur och jordbruksmark. Förhållandet mellan mindre orter och städer blir alltmer utsatt med tanke på det ökade pendlingsavståndet, högre krav på boendemiljö osv. Förhållandet mellan stad och land är därför en viktig del i utvecklingen av mindre orter och städer. Trönninge som är ett litet samhälle norr om Varberg har stor potential att växa eftersom det kan erbjuda ett lugnt boende nära natur och med ett cykelavstånd till Varberg centrum. Samhället har fina naturområden och en rik kulturhistoria men saknar ett livfullt centrum och en tydlig mötesplats.

Frågeställning och syfte. Vår huvudsakliga frågeställning är; Hur ser journalisters etiska avväganden angående namn och bildpublicering ut i Storbritannien och i Sverige? Vilka skillnader och likheter finns i journalisternas inställning till namn och bild publicering, och varför ser sederna så annorlunda ut i respektive land?.

This thesis examines the presence of threats and violence directed towards animal welfare inspectors/ officers. The main tool is a survey regarding threats and violence directed at animal welfare inspectors/officers. The questionnaire was distributed to animal welfare inspectors/ officers who worked on 15 of the country's 21 provincial governments. The response rate of the survey was 68.9 percent. The main conclusion of the study is that threats and violence directed at animal welfare inspectors/ officers are common.

Mechanization of Swedish agriculture started in the beginning of the twentieth century, to be able to have more animals without raising the number of employers. The horse business has not by far kept up with these cost savings solutions. Cleaning out stables and feeding horses are the most time-consuming tasks in horse stables today. The most common way to clean out the stable is still by shovel and wheelbarrow. The clean out process can easily be mechanized through semi- permanently beds with movable walls between the boxes so that the litter can be removed by a tractor or a loader.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the term balanced collection in relation to Swedish laws and the democratic assignment. The Unesco Public Library Manifesto states that libraries are to formulate a policy defining objectives, priorities and services in relation to local community needs. The Swedish Libraries Act, paragraph 7, states that municipalities and counties shall adopt plans for library services. To fulfil our aim we will answer the following questions. By which terms is the democratic assignment visible in Swedish public libraries collection development policies? Is the term balanced collection used in Swedish public libraries collection development policies? If not, are there categories describing balanced collection? Do the terms in Swedish collection development policies differ to the six categories found by Farooq M.

Serpula lacrymans infestation has become an increasingly common problem, and is usually perceived as a tip of an iceberg.During the 21st century there has been a perceived increase of damage caused by serpula lacrymans, at AB Mats Fransson Saneringstjänst ? Anticimex in the county of Kronoberg. A similar increase has also been noted by employees at the offices in Kalmar, Karlstad, Piteå, Stockholm, Malmö, Söderhamn, Halmstad and Visby.The methods used to collect data for the project has been interviews with a number, for the project, relevant key persons, such as analysis engineers at Trygghansa and Anticimex, as well as personnel at the botanical institution at Gothenburg University and the Botaniska Analysgruppen in Gothenburg, further statistics from SMHI and analyses of reported instances of infestations have been used.The majority of the people interviewed believe that the increase is caused by renovations of old houses, higher precipitation during the summer months, as well as a moister climate and warmer winters. The latter can also be gleaned from statistics from SMHI concerning temperature, precipitation, and relative humidity.Analysed damage reports show that the most common cause for the infestation is ground moisture, even when combined wooden materials.Older houses that where built around 1900 are the ones most frequently infested with serpula lacrymans. The part of the building most frequently infested is the foundation, where cellars and suspended foundation are the most common types to be infested.

The purpose of this study is to hightlight experiences of living in a relationship where BDSM is being exercised. The acronym is an umbrella term for bondage/discipline, dominance/submission and sadomasochism. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five persons who define themselves as BDSM practitioners. The overall questions of this study are: How does the BDSM practice appear in everyday life? How did the practice start and how has it developed over time? What's included in the sexual BDSM practice? The empirical material has been analyzed with interactionism as the theoritical framework. The picture that emerges is complex.

Förevarande kvalitativa studie hade som syfte att få fördjupade kunskaper om hur det kan upplevas att komma som ensamt flyktingbarn till ett okänt land, samt hur man idag som vuxen ser tillbaka på dessa upplevelser. Materialet analyserades med hjälp av meningskategorisering i en hermeneutisk ansats och grundade sig på halvstrukturerade intervjuer med fyra finska krigsbarn vilka idag uppnått pensionsålder. Resultatet visade skilda upplevelser vilka kan förstås genom olika bemötanden från fosterfamiljernas sida, hemförhållanden, ålder vid tiden för separation från föräldrarna, vistelsetid i det nya landet eller kontakt med biologiska föräldrar. Upplevelserna förefaller ha verkat traumatiserande för den enskilde individen vilket lett till konsekvenser i vuxen ålder. Koncentrationssvårigheter, separationsångest, rädslor, svårigheter att lita på andra och dålig självkänsla är några av följderna men även positiva konsekvenser såsom anpassningsförmåga, har nämnts i intervjuerna.

Horse-hair lichen Bryoria bicolor is a red-listed lichen species in the category Vulnerable. It is an oceanic lichen and it is often found on boulders and cliffs in a semi-open environment with a high humidity in the agricultural landscape. The species can also be found as an epiphyte on trees, mostly in boreal forests in the provinces of Dalarna, Härjedalen and Jämtland. In the agricultural landscape, there has been indications on that B. bicolor show a decline, and this studie aimed at examining the extent and causes of this decline.

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva den upplevda aktivitetsbalansen hos heltidsanställda officerare i marinen inom den svenska Försvarsmakten. Åtta heltidsarbetande officerare, som högst uppnått graden kapten samt hade hemmaboende barn intervjuades utifrån en semistrukturerad intervjuguide. Materialet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys och det resulterade i två domäner ?till sjöss? och ?i land? som sedan delades upp i fem kategorier; ?Obalans under perioderna till sjöss?, ?Intensiva perioder till sjöss kräver återhämtning?, ?Arbetet till sjöss påverkar familjens aktivitetsbalans?, ?Arbetet stannar på arbetet? och ?Stor mängd kvalitetstid i land kan väga upp obalansen till sjöss?. Officerarna beskrev sin vardag som uppdelade i två, till sjöss och i land.

Ultrasound is a well established diagnostic method in small animal veterinary practice but there appears to be limited use of ultrasound for evaluating the musculoskeletal system. The aim of this study was to investigate what publications exist concerning musculoskeletal ultrasound of dogs and to compare the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound at the University Animal Hospital (UDS) in Uppsala, to other animal hospitals in the world. The literature review is divided into three parts, the front leg, the hind leg and miscellaneous. The literature review focuses on the musculoskeletal abnormalities that can be seen with ultrasound. The front and hind leg sections are mainly focused on the joints.

This paper is based on a study of the Christian religious school. In Sweden today, surveys have shown that there is a common fear and negative attitude towards Christian religious schools. Despite this fact these schools increase in numbers, which makes it relevant to investigate what reasons the parents base their decision on when making Christian religious schools their school of choice for their children. The formulation of the question in this paper is therefore based on why the parents choose to place their children in a Christian religious school. Previous research on this topic is very scarce and poor, which makes it a relevant topic to investigate more thoroughly.

Sett utifrån ett historiskt perspektiv har utvecklingen av soldatens utrustning skett relativt långsamt. Dock har utvecklingen under det senaste decenniet gått fort framåt. I början på 2000-talet konfronterades flera länder av behovet av att utveckla soldaten och dennes personliga utrustning. Därför startade många länder egna framtida soldatsystemsprojekt. Tillgången till ett C4I-system är något som alla framtida soldatsystemsprojekt har gemensamt.

Den Europeiska Unionen är en mångfacetterad samling länder med ett brett spektra av historisk bakgrund, geografisk placering och ekonomiska förhållanden. I denna uppsats undersöks huruvida en gemensam europeisk identitet kan bidra till en ökad tillit från medborgarna i unionen till EU som institution.Uppsatsens teoretiska underlag består av tidigare forskning. Denna forskning skapar ett fundament för den statistiska modell som används för att besvara frågeställningen.Med hjälp av data samlad ur bland annat Eurobarometerrapporter tar uppsatsen, via multipel linjär regression, fram en modell som förklarar förhållandet mellan den beroende variabeln ?förtroende för EU? och de oberoende variablerna ?uppfattning av gemensam europeisk identitet?, ?avstånd till Bryssel?, ?BNP per capita? och ?antal år som medlem i EU?.Resultatet visar en koppling mellan en högre grad av upplevd gemensam identitet hos medborgarna i ett land och ett ökat förtroende för EU.Vidare visar modellen ett negativt samband mellan förtroendet för EU och ett stigande värde på var och en av de övriga förklaringsvariablerna. Med andra ord: ju längre avstånd till Bryssel, ju högre BNP per capita och ju längre medlemskap i unionen desto lägre förtroende känner den genomsnittlige medborgaren för EU..

Currently there is a tendency in the EU to adjust the minimum-capital requirement. In France and Germany the requirement for private limited liabilities has been totally abolished, whilst other countries have chosen to reduce their requirement. The Swedish law concerning the minimum-capital requirement is from 1st of April 2010 being lowered to 50 000 SEK. In common law jurisdictions such as United Kingdom and USA a minimum-capital requirement does not exist. The european main argument to keep such a requirement is that it accomplishes a creditor protection.
