En studie i begrepp inom byggnadsv?rden: samsyn och efterlevnad
The theory that concepts that are interpreted subjectively in building care creates problems in how the
concepts are defined in practice within the current governing documents and guidelines for building
care.
This essay has studied concepts in the building maintenance literature to investigate whether there is
consensus in compliance practice within the building process. In the study, 9 concepts have been
investigated through conversational interviews and questionnaires answered by practitioners with
extensive experience in building care processes. In the survey, an attempt is made, to measure how big
or small the consensus is between practitioners who often need to collaborate within the building
maintenance process. The investigation shows that existence of the concepts in building maintenance
is very common in the theoretical literature examined but is almost completely absent in the craft area.
Since laws, regulations, principles, and guidelines have defined concepts to support the decisions in
the building maintenance process, it can be concluded that there is a lack of practice for compliance.

Natur som kultur : och betydelsen av dess berättelser
Is there such a thing as unadulterated nature? All that surrounds us is culturally modified by man somewhere along our past. But culture is only a fictitious conception itself, created in an attempt to break the world into controllable objects. So in what do we find culture? In everything? In the objects or the stories they embrace? Who chooses what?s worth saving and how to save? Choosing what is culture is made from personal, ingrained dichotomies of what?s important and what is not. A selective eye creates a distorted truth, which could have unintentional long-term effects. This thesis will give a historical account of the archaeological discipline?s development in tending to our cultural heritage.

They bear witness to a living tradition and gives us knowledge of society at large and therefore people's lives at different times. These buildings possesses a high value, which is shared by the vast majority, and they are protected by law. The concept of modern churches is in this essay the churches built after 1940, which is not covered by law. Digitalisering av biblioteksmaterial : En kvalitativ undersökning av åtta biblioteksanställdas attitydertill digitalisering
This study aims to examine the views on digitization of eight respondents, all working at different libraryinstitutions in Sweden, and how their views are reflected in their library's digitization strategies. The poll wasconducted on the basis of Ingrid Mason's theory of information standards, their structure and sociopoliticalnature. The informantion standards are divided into three aspects, curatorial, semantic and technical, and theyaffect selection of, intellectual and physical access to the digitized material, which in the end is what constitutes the digital cultural heritage. The background to the study is that the Swedish library institutions in the current situation lacks a nationalstandard or a common strategy for the digitization of cultural heritage, while it is still implemented digitizationprojects at many library institutions. The method used is qualitative, structured interviews with open-ended questions. The study shows that one of the main motives behind the libraries' digitization projects is to make librarymaterials available in a new way, creating greater opportunities for the users to take advantage of the material. The library users are the ones who mainly control what is digitized, although aspects of preservation ismentioned. Furthermore, it appears that the respondents believe that digitization offers improved capabilities tosearch and learn more about the collections, but the actual work of image capture, the addition of metadata, presentation to users and long-term preservation is very complex.Views on what it is to be digitized, how the material should be selected and provided with metadata and howit should be presented to users is what creates the standards that libraries use when they digitize their materials, and digitization of library materials creates new conditions for new users to access and use library material. This is a two years master?s thesis in Archive, Library and Museum studies..
