Läsning för Folket : En studie av utländskt material i en svensk tidskrift
The society of spreading useful knowledge started to sell its magazine Reading for the People (RFP) in 1834. The idea with the society was to, through the magazine that contained useful knowledge, enlighten the Swedish peasantry. RFP contained articles about agricultural and economy for example. My goal with this essay is to investigate how the use of foreign articles in RFP changed over time. I?m also going to present a field and language categorization of the foreign articles and study the articles from Benjamin Franklin and Charles Dickens and investigate what kind of articles they wrote.
Intranät En kommunikationskanal för alla?
Intranet is today a common technical groupware to communicate in many
organisations. People can interact through the Intranet and communicate within
the organization and get relevant information according to their workplace. It
can be difficult to get everybody to use the Intranet as an information- and
communication tool. This causes problems when people want to reach out with
information. With these thoughts we entered our work at Luftfartsverket at
Arlanda airport.
Ett förändringsförslag av Eric Sigfrid Perssons Malmgården - en takträdgård
Barley is one of the most important cereals cultivated in the Nordic countries. Climate change brings warmer and moisture climate which favors fungal diseases. In the cropland barley can be seriously infested with hard fungus attack. Since it is important that the yield bears a high quality it is of great importance to find varieties more resistant to attacks.Pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins are stress proteins induced in the plant in response to infection and abiotic stress (van Loon, 1997). PRs are shown to have antimicrobial activity differing between bacteria, fungi and oomycetes (Tandrup Poulsen, 2001).

It also conducted interviews on how collocations was seen and taught in school by language teachers. 34 informants answered the survey and four teachers were interviewed to further investigate how collocations were presented to the students.
Ett dubbelt mottagande : Susanna Alakoskis Svinalängorna i pressen
Finnish-born writer Susanna Alakoski?s novel Svinalängorna became a big success after being published in Sweden in April 2006. UNIDROIT Principles, PECL och DCFR i svensk rättspraxis
International Contract Law presently offers three sets of principles: the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (the UNIDROIT Principles), the Principles of European Contract Law (the PECL) and the Draft Common Frame of Reference (the DCFR). These sets of principles contain general principles which are intended to serve as model rules. The three sets of principles have been published, but they have not been adopted. The UNIDROIT Principles and the PECL are not meant to be adopted either. There are different opinions as to whether the sets of principles can be considered to be a source of legal status at all.The sets of principles have been referred to in Swedish law.
Vikta, hoprullade eller klippta i bitar? : Guldfoliefigurer samt deras fyndkontext
In this essay I have chosen to take a closer look at gold figure foils (Swedish ?guldgubbar?), find their context and analyze it. I have analyzed some earlier studies about gold figure foils that were found in Scandinavia. The focus of my study is based on the locations of the findings. Another important aspect is to discuss if the encountered gold figure foils that were folded and cut looked like that due to intentional motives or not.My conclusion is that when it comes to the locations of the findings they are mostly found in houses irrespective of if it´s in a posthole, wall or house foundation. The other conclusion is that the gold figure foils could have intentionally been manipulated before they ended up in the ground..

Den nationella värdegrunden inom äldreomsorgen:några enhetschefers intryck
The aim of this text is to study how sectional managers in the care of the
elderly work so as to promote basic human values. Semi-structured interviews
generated qualitative data from five sectional managers. A hermeneutical
approach was applied for interpreting the interviews. The result shows that the
respondents are conscious of the fact that it takes a lot of long term work
before a change in current procedures will happen. Also, the common everyday
principles of work and basic values will continue to be part of the care of the
elderly.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether youth novels contained informationconcerning our society. We reviewed youth literature and its history in brief, including itscommencement and development from separate boys' and girls' novels to a common youthnovel after the Second World War.To obtain a clearer picture and a better understanding of youths, we read non-fiction, such asbooks, magazines and articles, concerning youth culture, its meaning and content. We decidedto review the period 1990-1994 more closely. We therefore set up selection criteria whichfinally resulted in 56 youth novels. We examined these novels to determine if and/or how theymatched the nine preselected areas that we felt were typical for the 1990's.
