ABSTRACT This essay is about traffic analysis of Web servers. The purpose is to investigate if companies analyse the traffic on the Web server and if they use this information to create more than simple statistic reports. The questions that we will answer are the following: ? How common is traffic analysis on the Web server among companies? ? Is the Web administrator limited in analysing the Web traffic, if the company has the website on a Web hotel? ? Does the company uses the results they get from analysing the traffic on the Web server for updates and changes on the Web page? To answer these questions we made a questionnaire investigation by telephone interviewing the companies? webmasters. The extent of the investigation was 20 companies in Blekinge. The information we gathered from the investigation showed that it is becoming more common that companies analyse the traffic on the Web page and that they uses the information to more than statistic reports, for example updates and changes of the Web page.

The Clinical Pathology Laboratory at SLU in Uppsala has analysed several blood samples from Dachshunds with severe anemia. As there are no previous studies on this topic, a study was performed to evaluate if Dachshunds are more prone to severe anemia compared with other breeds. In addition, a retrospective case study on Dachshunds with severe anemia was done to search for common risk factors or diseases. Hemoglobin values in samples from 1272 Dachshunds and 2269 German Shepherds analyzed from September 1994 to October 2007 were used to compare the frequency of severe anemia in Dachshund and German shepherd. The samples were identified by laboratory information system.

In this bachelor essay an attempt is done, to recreate a probable Bronze Age landscape on Gotland, with GIS as a tool. The landscape on Gotland is situated with many different monuments dated Bronze Age, such as cairns and stone ships. In creating of the maps, two possible shorelines contemporary with the Bronze Age have been calculated and marked on the maps. Furthermore, peat lands have been drawn upon the maps, by using the information from geological maps.A landscape variable have been compared between Bronze Age places and Early Iron Age houses; the soil type. On Bronze Age places gravel is the most common, while moraine marl is the most common on places with Early Iron Age houses.From a selection that were made, all Bronze Age places where within 3 km from the water, either the recreated shoreline or peat land.

When traffic in large cities increases, it becomes more vulnerable to disturbances such as accidents, stalled vehicles or construction; therefore, traffic jams are more likely to occur. For better control of the traffic at a disturbance the Swedish National Road Administration (SNRA) has traffic equipment which can be controlled from a command centre. This traffic equipment consists of gates and signs with variable messages. This report will discuss the system used for traffic control in Stockholm. It will present proposals designed to improve it.

The purpose of this study is to create a method that can be used to produce decision supportdata for the climate goals of a municipality. The method should be able to demonstrate the potential for reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions for measures aimed at the stationary energy system in the municipality. It will be used to make long term projections of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in order to be able to demonstrate the ability to reach climate goals. The aim was also to test the method's applicability by using the municipality of Uppsala and the Uppsala climate protocol project in a case study. Uppsala climate protocol is a project consisting of participants from business, government and organizations that voluntarily want to commit to reducing their carbon footprint by reducing their energy use and thus work to achieve the municipality's overall climate goal.

This paper aims to find out how to implement an information security management (ISMS) system that is based on ISO/IEC 27001-standard into a small organization with high employee turnover. The standard employs the PDCA-method as a course of action for implementing the standard. För att täcka ett behov av laborationsutrustning för enklare felsökningsövningar på dieselmaskinerför första-års-studenter vid Sjöfartshögskolan, Linnéuniversitetet, startades det här projektet. Syftetvar att tre stycken laborationsstationer skulle byggas ovanpå tre stycken kasserade dieselgeneratorersom skolan hade stående. Det skulle på varje station gå att simulera fyra stycken olika fel, och detskulle även finnas underlag för felsökning till varje station. Eftersom utbildningen är engrundutbildning skulle även hänsyn tas till att många studenter helt kan sakna kunskaper ocherfarenheter av förbränningsmotorer.Projektet har arbetat enligt en praktisk metod där problemet formuleras och struktureras samtlösningen planeras och genomförs. Struktureringen gav vid handen att felsimuleringarna bordeomfatta en förbränningsmotors grundläggande system, samt förbränning.

The purpose of this study is to first investigate how a group of Syriac women participating in the Syriac/Aramaic Academics Association (SAAF ? Syrianska/Arameiska Akademikerförbundet) at a Swedish university perceive their ethnic identity, and maintain it in the mainstream Swedish society. Furthermore, it considers whether SAAF as an ethnic institution provides an arena for the reproduction of social capital in interaction with the women's families. This study is based on previous research and theories of ethnic identity and its role in the building of social capital within so-called ethnic groups. The method used for this study involves qualitative interviews, to achieve its aims.

Background: The most energy efficient houses today are so called passive houses. These houses achieve high energy-efficiency partly by having well insulated walls. U-value describes the amount of heat transfered through a building element, the more insulation, the smaller U-value. A typical passive house wall have a U-value of 0.10 W/m2,°C. Therefore, the project team receivedthe task by Electrolux to develop a fire-extinguishing system that extinguishes a fire in a tumbledryer.The purpose of the project has been to develop a system that both detects and responds to fire in anindustrial tumble dryer to meet the competitors and to satisfy customers' requirements.The goal was to develop a fire-extinguishing system for Electrolux Laundry Systems and develop afully functioning prototype.The project began with information searches on a variety of methods to both detect and extinguish afire. Subsequently, a number of different methods were used to develop a final solution and make aprototype.The result of the project is a fire-extinguishing system that extinguishes a fire inside a dryer.

I komponentbaserade system är det viktigt att ha kontroll över vilka komponenter som har beroenden till varandra för att undvika att delar av systemet slutar fungera vid exempelvis en komponentuppdatering. I detta arbete undersöks hur komponenter kan identifieras, samt hur olika typer av beroenden kan spåras. Arbetet är utfört som ett uppdrag givet av Sandvik Systems Development (SSD), vilket är ett av Sandvik-koncernens två internationella IT-bolag. Målet med uppgiften är att utforma en modell som tar fram information för komponenterna, samt kartlägger dess beroenden på Windows-plattformen. Mycket information om ett system finns att hämta i olika typer av ?statiska? metadata-filer som automatiskt genereras vid skapandet av en lösning i Visual Studio.
