This study deals with one particular instance of foreign policy change in Sweden; The political take-off for enhanced Nordic Defence and Security Cooperation in the beginning of the 21st century which led to an agreement on a Nordic declaration on slolidarity. The aim of this study is to explain why the political development has undergone a rapid upturn and when such a policy change occur. Its purpose is to explain what factors and conditions that influenced the policy change. It also explores the meaning of the Nordic Declaration of Solidarity. The theoretical point of departure is Foreign Policy Analysis combined with John Kingdons policy-window theory.

CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility, has become increasingly important in a globalised world where the responsibilities of companies and governments are somewhat blurry. The textile industry is an industry where long supply chains and raw material production in developing countries are factors adding to the complexity and difficulties of solving ethical issues. Cotton production faces many environmental, social and financial challenges in the value chain. Therefore this case study takes a closer look at five Nordic home textile companies, Ikea, Hemtex, S Group, Moko and Finlayson, and how these companies choose their cotton related CSR tools and communicate their work on this area. These companies are of various sizes and therefore the resources for CSR work are also different, as well as the perceived values for working with CSR.

Today?s system to measure the volume in a tank consists of a vertically placed sensor. When a vehicle is tilted the level of the fluid might change and if the volume is calculated based only on the information from the sensor it could result in a incorrect value.This thesis exams a new method to calculate the volume in tanks by using sensor fusion to crosscheck the i formation from the level sensors when the vehicle is tilted. The information is then used to see if it is possible to identify the grade of tilt by the change of fluid level. If the grade of tilt can be measured then the volume can be calculated in a more accurate way.

AbstractIn 2013, the diagnosis of Asperger?s syndrome will be eliminated as a stand-alone diagnosis, to be subsumed into the existing diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this paper, a study with the objective of emphasizing current opinions regarding the change in diagnosis is performed. Another objective is to examine the connection between identity and diagnosis. The study therefore targets people with a diagnosis, in this case Asperger?s syndrome.The empirical material of the study has been collected through a quantitative web-based survey.

In my scientific essay, I an experienced child minder, describe two different preschools cultures and investigate how preschool culture can be influenced and created by different conditions. In my first story I describe a professional preschool with a preschool director who is involved in the activities every day. The second story is about a preschool that is characterized by a different preschool culture and members of the staff who are stuck in old patterns and with an absent preschool director. Tvångsvård inom psykiatrin tillämpas runt om i världen när patienter inte bedöms kunna fatta adekvata beslut om sin egen omvårdnad. Tvångsåtgärder är ett mycket känsligt förfarande där patienten lätt utsätts för övergrepp och kränkningar när åtgärder vidtas utan hans eller hennes medgivande.Vi ville belysa patienters erfarenheter av tvångsåtgärder inom psykiatrin och på så vis ta reda på om eller hur vårdpersonal skulle kunna tillämpa denna kunskap för att förbättra vården.Denna systematiska litteraturstudie har gjorts med syftet att ta reda på hur dessa patienter upplever de tvångsåtgärder som de utsatts för.Studien omfattar sju artiklar som berör ämnet och har valts ut från tre databaser, PubMed, PsycInfo och Cinahl, från sökkriterierna ?commitment of mentally ill?, ?psychiatric patients?, ?involuntary commitment? och ?attitude?, beroende på vilka termer databasen rekommenderade. Artiklarna analyserades och fyra gemensamma teman belystes.Resultaten tyder på att många kränkningar sker vid tvångs-omhändertagande, men att flertalet patienter i efterhand accepterar den tvångsvård de utsatts för. De aspekter som påverkar upplevelsen positivt tycks vara god information, goda relationer med personalen samt delaktighet i vården.

Background: The Swedish retail trading company KappAhl has reorganized all the boutiques in Sweden. The study seeks to clarify a cultural change in the armed forces (FM). The study is based on the hypothesis that repeated operations in war-like environment, where the FM sends professional combat units, develop a warrior culture. Abstract This thesis is based on a case study of the drawn out legal process on the question of establish a limestone quarry in Bunge Ducker in north Gotland (Sweden). The current fields are located next to areas that are protected by virtue of being EU-certified Natura 2000-areas. Defusion är en av processerna i Acceptance andCommitment Therapy. Studien har bestått av en undersökningsgrupp (n=16, 8 par) somerhållit en work-shop med upplevelsebaserade övningar med fokus på defusion samt enkontrollgrupp (n=16, 8 par). Vi valde att undersöka följande: Finns det en skillnad i utfall vadgäller relationell tillfredsställelse mellan grupperna efter tre sessioner? Finns det en skillnadmellan grupperna vad gäller utfall efter tre sessioner vad gäller: anpassningsförmåga rörandeområdena enighet, sammanhållning, tillfredsställelse samt känslouttryck, frekvens avvalideringsbeteenden samt grad av kognitiv sammanblandning och upplevelsebaseratundvikande.

Att hitta preventiva metoder för att motverka ungdomars psykiska ohälsa är ett angeläget forskningsområde, både sett till mänskligt lidande för individen och ur ett samhällsekonomiskt perspektiv. Föreliggande kontrollerade studie, som är randomiserad stratifierat för kön avsåg undersöka om en gruppbaserad ACT-intervention (n=15) kunde vara statistiskt signifikant mer effektiv än sedvanligt omhändertagande (n=17) av ungdomar med eller i riskzonen för psykisk ohälsa. Psykisk ohälsa operationaliserades i termer av ångest, depression, stress, upplevd global livskvalitet, allmän psykisk hälsa, psykologisk flexibilitet, beteendemässigt och emotionellt undvikande, samt medveten närvaro. Resultatet visar att interventionen hade starka positiva effekter på stress, upplevd global livskvalitet och medveten närvaro, samt måttliga effekter på allmän psykisk hälsa, och svaga effekter på depression, ångest, psykologisk flexibilitet, beteendemässigt och emotionellt undvikande. The aim of this thesis is to study young people's views on support, knowledge and change. The eight participants in this interview study are between 14 and 19 years old and they share the experience of growing up in a family where a parent is a substance misuser or mentally ill.Childhood sociology has been used as a theoretical framework. The main finding is that emotional and practical support based on the young person's needs and knowledge based on the ideas of empowerment and agency promotes change. The four most important insights according to the young persons are: My parent has got a problem. It is not my problem.
