Abstract The technology has made it possible for you as a train traveller to be available in other places than stations and on the train. You now have the possibility to communicate by the phone or through the Internet to get information about the train you want to take. Development in mobile technology gives us new possibilities to communication. We want to find out whatever SMS would be a suitable approach to inform passengers about delays. The problem formulation is ?If the technology is available to inform the passengers about delays in an more effective way than today, then why not use it? The ?Kustpilen? that operates in Blekinge and Skåne is the case for our study.

Hjälpmedel är ofta en förutsättning för att personer med funktionshinder ska klara av sinaolika dagliga aktiviteter.Syftet med uppsatsen är att genomföra en jämförelse mellan Örebro län, Västmanland och Södermanland hur tillfredsställda brukarna är med sitt hjälpmedel och service.Resultatet visaratt majoriteten av brukare i de tre olika länen är tillfredställda med sitt hjälpmedel och service.Det högsta medelvärdet visar att brukare i Örebro län var mest tillfredställda med variabelneffektivitet och varaktighet, brukare i Västmanland var även de mest tillfredställda medvaraktighet. I Södermanland visade sig att brukare var mest tillfredsställda med variabelnanvändbarhet..

The aim of this thesis is to picture how working in combined libraries affects high school librarians? own apprehensions of their professional identity. The results are based on in-depth interviews made with four high school librarians, working not only towards the students but also the public.

The aim in this project was to spread play in the city and acrossgenerations. My way of approaching this challenge was to explore theborderland between playground equipment and street furniture. Thisopened up many possibilities to afford play in places where playgroundequipment often is excluded.The goal was to create one, or more, furniture with play value. Our essay is about alcohol information given to youths in Helsingborg. It is a research to find out how the message is communicated and how it is presented. The purpose of our study is to find out, why inform about alcohol and if it is taken in a preventive aim. To investigate weather there is any talermade information in the community for youths between 12-18 years old. We also want to know if the given information is destined for a special group/groups or is it for young people in general? Our intention is to find out the meaning of prevently information about alcohol and if it is possible to reach a change in attitudes and behaviour.We use a qualitative method and have interviewed twelve persons with different occupations within medical service, local authorities, public and private schools and voluntary organizations..

This master?s thesis deals with problems and opportunities when it comes to cooperation between compulsory schools, upper secondary schools, school libraries and public libraries on Gotland. The goal of this thesis is to investigate which ideas exist among public librarians, school librarians and headmasters when it comes to taking responsibility for the students? information literacy, basic library knowledge and passion for books. It also examines some of the problems they meet when trying to work together around these tasks.

In efforts to strengthen local economies, business development programs are often a way in which governmental organizations and state affiliates try to facilitate innovation and successful entrepreneurship. There is a mutual interest from both the public and private sector that these funds are put to good use. Extensive research has been conducted with the focus of the general effect of public support programs. However, not much research has been done on what external factors affect the situation for receiving businesses. This study attempts to examine whether one specific such factor, the level of maturity on the markets that the recipients operate in, has a discernible effect on the needs for different types of entrepreneurial support.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the term balanced collection in relation to Swedish laws and the democratic assignment. The Unesco Public Library Manifesto states that libraries are to formulate a policy defining objectives, priorities and services in relation to local community needs. The Swedish Libraries Act, paragraph 7, states that municipalities and counties shall adopt plans for library services. To fulfil our aim we will answer the following questions. By which terms is the democratic assignment visible in Swedish public libraries collection development policies? Is the term balanced collection used in Swedish public libraries collection development policies? If not, are there categories describing balanced collection? Do the terms in Swedish collection development policies differ to the six categories found by Farooq M.

The aim of this study is to examine the significance of having a music department at the public library in Enköping, and how the organization of the phonograms is handled. The different areas examined are the reason of the reintroduction of a music department, its budget, its users, the work with selection, the marketing, statistical data concerning loans, the work with classification, indexing, and organization of the phonograms and the future of the music department. The empirical material consists of qualitative interviews with staff connected to the music department at the public library in Enköping. For the theoretical frame, Sanna Taljas discourse analysis of music libraries in Finland is used. Talja presents three discourses which all show different views on what kind of material a music library should contain.
