What affect if an incident is reported?- an interview study with nursesABSTRACTEveryday in health care, there are incidents which can harm patients. However, reporting these incidents is not always a positive experience. The number of incident reports which are documented are a lot fewer than the number of incidents that actually occur. The purpose of the present study was to describe factors that affect nurses? decisions on whether to report an incident or not.

This report is about Swedish statistics on work related accidents and work related diseases onboard Swedish ships. The authors analyzed collected statistics from two authorities and an insurance organization in an attempt to compare the data. In order to understand the need for statistics and why the authority publishes them; minor literature study was conducted. The results of the literature study are in the background chapter. The requirements for the different cases to be registered in the statistics have been investigated, in unity with the issue in question.

This study is an assignment from the council of Södra Småland county to investigate how equality between boys and girls progresses at compulsory schools in Kronoberg county. The study was undertaken to find suggestions on how work with equality could best be stimulated.The key question was to elaborate how a decentralized rule and structural context of an organisation can affect an implementation of political decisions. The methodological approach adopted can be defined as inductive, it was analysed how the respondents from some selected schools in Kronoberg county themselves relate to the concept of equality between men and women and their experience and understanding of how the concept of equality between sex is understood in their work at school.School-legislation today demands that active measures are undertaken to promote equality between boys and girls and in general almost all the respondents of my study describe equality as an utterly important question. My findings although, at the same time, indicate a gap between rhetoric and practice. The findings of my study suggest that structural relations and a decentralised organisation can constitute a hindrance for implementing equality between men and women in schools.

Den Svenska modellen har gått från en omfattande lagregleringsreform på 70-talet, till ett stadigt tillstånd där bland annat rättigheter så som förenings- och förhandlingsrätt, rätten till information samt fredsplikt skyddas genom kollektivavtal.Sveriges medlemskap i Europeiska unionen innebär att staten har överfört beslutsmakt till unionen och dess institutioner, vilket gör att unionen har en överstatlig karaktär där unionsrätten går före nationell rätt vid en konfliktsituation.Genom Sveriges medlemskap i Europeiska unionen har den Svenska modellen och framför allt kollektivavtalens ställning fått en annan betydelse. En av orsaken till detta att de svenska kollektivavtalen inte uppfyller unionens krav vid implementering av direktiv, då direktiven skall omfatta alla arbetstagare och arbetsgivare. Kollektivavtalen i Sverige binder endast de parter som avtalet är slutet mellan. Då kollektivavtalen inte kan användas som ett implementeringsinstrument måste Sverige implementera direktiv från unionen genom lagstiftning, som då inbegriper alla parter på arbetsmarknaden. Det medför en ökad lagstiftningsprocess, som innebär att beslutsbefogenheterna tas från arbetsmarknadsparterna och ges till staten.Inom många länder i Europa används så kallade allmängiltiga kollektivavtal.

This thesis examines young people's thoughts about their presence on social media. With asocial constructive approach the study focused on how young people think and act on socialmedia in relation to constructions of gender and normality. The analysis is based on fourgroup interviews with 13-year old boys and girls. The theoretical approach is based partly onsocial constructionism where discourses and ideas of normality are identified and analyzed.Erving Goffman's theory of social interaction was central to illustrate how young peoplepresents themselves based on the prevailing discourses. It is clear that they adjust theirrepresentations of themselves depending on the context.

Children and young adults who grow up I today?s society have greater access to facts and opinions than any earlier generations. This also applies to popular culture that during the last couple of decades have taken new expressions that no one could have ever dreamed of and more time goes to the consumption of it via visits to the cinema, television and computers.

Syftet med den genomförda studien var att se om elever tar till sig nya kunskaper praktiskt om Förintelsen, jämfört teoretiskt och om det i sin tur lägger grund för etiska och moraliska ställningstaganden. Undersökningen kom därmed att grunda sig på både kvantitativ och kvalitativ forskningsmetod, genom enkätundersökningar, observation och reflektionstexter. I undersökningen kom fyra klasser i årskurs nio från två skolor i Norrbotten att medverka. Utav de 75 eleverna som medverkade, var det nio elever från Skola 1 som reste till Polen för att se förintelselägren Auschwitz I och Auschwitz II-Birkenau.I studien framkommer det att resan till Polen kom att bidra till att de nio eleverna kom att skapa sig bredare kunskap, samt djupare etiska och moraliska ställningstaganden. Detta i jämförelse med deras jämnåriga i denna undersökning.

This essay examines a presupposed correlation between the way one look upon values and the way one look upon the will of the people in a theoretical democratic context. The more specific purpose is to test the following hypothesis: There is a reversed connection between the way one look upon values and the way one look upon the will of the people in a theoretical democratic context, that is; a strong claim of values give reason to a limited conception of the will of the people and a weak claim of values gives reason for a more unlimited conception of the will of the people.In order to test the hypothesis I examine three different conceptions of democracy, these are: pluralist democracy, deliberative democracy and constitutional democracy. I analyze the way they look upon values, there view of the will of the people and finally if there is a connection between the way they look upon values and the will of the people. Values should be understood in a metaethical context. In other words it is not values in the ?common? meaning, instead its how val-ues in them selves should be understood, and even more relevant, what we mean when we ex-press values.My conclusions are, first and foremost, that there is a correlation between the will of the people and values, according to the formulation of the hypothesis.

Bakgrund: Enligt flera artiklar och böcker påvisas det ständigt att många människor som vistas på sjukhus blir bortglömda, vare sig det är avsiktligt eller ej. Många av studierna hänvisar till att känslomässig oro hos patienter kan gå oupptäckt under lång tid och att inte ens välutbildade personal kan uppmärksamma det. Detta visar på hur svårt det är att avläsa den känslomässiga faktorn hos människor vid de olika mötena. Människor reagerar olika och dessa reaktioner kan ta sig skilda uttryck. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva/belysa hur personalen och patienten ser på vårdlidandet och de känslomässiga påfrestningar som kan uppstå vid mötet med den somatiska sjukvården.

Everything is seen from the director?s point of view, she is working in a film world dominated by men.Questions are being asked if the director?s instructions are clear enough or if the actor, fearing getting lost, is mixing up his own feelings with those of the character he is portraying? Syftet med denna studie är att belysa attityder som finns hos lärare i svenska för invandrare (SFI) och svenska som andraspråk (SVA) till integreringen av värdegrundsuppdraget i vuxenutbildningen och i det sammanhanget även uppmärksamma deras berättelser om yrkesetiska konflikter som de upplevt i värdegrundsarbetet. Studien söker att svara på följande frågeställningar: Hur definierar SFI- och SVA-lärarna vuxenutbildningens värdegrund? Hur förhåller sig lärarna till integreringen av värdegrundsfrågor i undervisningen? På vilket sätt integrerar SFI- och SVA-lärarna värdegrundensmålen i sin dagliga verksamhet? Vilka svårigheter möter lärarna och vilka yrkesetiska konflikter uppstår i deras arbete med värdegrundsfrågor? och Vad styrs lärarna av när de löser yrkesetiska konflikter som uppstår i värdegrundsarbetet? Metoden som används i undersökningen är kvalitativ och bygger på intervjuer med totalt sex SFI- och SVA-lärare. Intervjuerna kompletteras med en enkätundersökning som genomförts med samma lärare.Studiens resultat diskuteras utifrån en teori om sociala attityder och dess antagande att individers kunskaper om, och positiva känslor till, en social företeelse kommer att manifesteras i deras handlingar. Resultatanalysen visar att SFI- och SVA-lärarna förknippar skolans värdegrund med demokrati, jämställdhet mellan kvinnor och män, alla människors lika värde och trygg inlärningsmiljö och har ett positivt förhållningssätt till värdegrundsarbetet, som de medvetet integrerar i språkundervisningen..

The aim of this master?s thesis is to investigate how adults describe their individual reading experiences, on the basis of their own reflections by keeping a reading diary. Reading diaries kept during two months and a qualitative questionnaire for each of our nine motivated and advanced adult readers, were analyzed by using qualitative content analysis. The study was carried out on the Internet. The theoretical framework that served as a point of departure is Ross? and Chelton?s model for the process of choosing a book to read for pleasure, Nussbaum?s moral philosophy and thesis ?Reading for life? and Mukar?ovský?s theory of the aesthetic value.

This study examines how a couple of Swedish daily newspapers construct the hacker network Anonymous, with an aim to discuss its possible effects. The question was: In which ways is the network Anonymous constructed in a few Swedish newspapers?                      26 articles from four chosen newspaper were analysed, but because of many similarities in content, only 10 were chosen for deep analysis. With Fairclough's model of critical discourse analysis as chosen method, constructions varying from the images of heroes to villains were found as a result. The most common construction was that of Anonymous as a threat, which was most often exaggerated compared to what actions were actually described in the texts.

The health care formulation of the principle of autonomy can be expressed as follows; ?you shall not treat a patient without the informed consent of the patient, or his or her lawfulsurrogate, except in narrowly defined emergencies?. The principle of beneficence refers to a moral obligation to act for the benefit of others. In heath care, the good or benefit in question is the restoration of the health of the patient. In fulfilling this obligation of beneficence, the physician sometimes intentionally overrides the patient?s preferences or actions for the purpose of benefiting the patient.
