Radikala ändringar av marknadsförhållanden och strategiska förändringar
There is much literature covering strategic change under different circumstances but very little concerning how companies act strategically under sudden and radical changes to market conditions. Based on three different events (the terrorist attack in the USA September 11th 2001, the Tjernobyl accident April 26th 1986 and the Islamic revolution in Iran 1979) with such radical changes as a result we chose three companies that were affected (SAS, Asea Atom and Atlas Copco). The result of the events that were studied in this thesis is extremely unusual to their character. The events themselves were sudden and of a temporary nature but the results were long term changes of market conditions. Through personal interviews the authors have tried to establish how the companies have perceived the events and how the top management has strategically handled the situation.

Background: Stroke is one of the leading causes for longlasting sequelae, among themloss in cognitive function, like aphasia. Aphasia effects the patients ability to understandand express themselves in speaking and writing. To be able to reach a good level of care,the careproviders and patients ought to have the same goals and values. This requires agood communication between the careproviders and patients. Which can be problematicfor the caregivers when they don't feel secure in their way of getting close to these patients.Aim: The purpose of this study was to illuminate caregivers experience of caring forpatients with the diagnosis aphasia following stroke.Method: This is a literature study where nine studies, with qualitative design, has beenanalyzed and compiled.
Universell Design - en användbarhetsutvärdering av MyTobii C-series Control
Universal Design is a well established methodology with the fundamental purpose of designing products to be usable for as wide audience as possible, without the need of special adjustment to suit the individual. In this essay, Universal Design has had a clear influence in both the process and the result. The choice to use Universal Design as methodology in this usability evaluation, has essentiallv to do with the target audience.As a part of the design process of MyTobii C8 has Tobii Technology ask for a usability evaluation. MyTobii C8 is an 8" touch screen computer with a windows based operating system which will initiate the software MyTobii C-Series Control. MyTobii C-Series Control is the control panel for MyTobii C8, whose interfaces constitute the platform for various modificarion of the unit.
Orsaker till studieavbrott på gymnasieskolan
Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka orsaker det finns för ungdomar som avsluter
sina studier på gymnasiet och hur studie- och yrkesvägledare följer upp ungdomarna efter
avbrottet. Följande frågeställningar har formulerats: Vilka är de faktorer som gör att
ungdomar avbryter sin gymnasieutbildning? Hur ser processen ut från att ungdomarna
bestämmer sig för att hoppa av och till att den gör det? Hur arbetar studie- och
yrkesvägledare med uppföljning av ungdomar efter avhopp från gymnasiet? Vi har använt
oss av kvalitativ metod och genomfört fyra intervjuer med studie- och yrkesvägledare.
Tidigare forskning finns kring orsaker till studieavbrott, hur man ska motverka avbrott,
vilka konsekvenser avbrotten har och hur studie- och yrkesvägledare arbetar med det. För
att analysera det empiriska materialet har teorierna Careership, Social Cognitive Career
Theory (SCCT) och Gottfredsons teori.
Resultatet som vi fick fram var att det fanns olika orsaker till studieavbrott, de vanligaste
var felval, påverkan av omgivning och mobbning. Ungdomarna befinner sig i en svår
situation under valet och behöver stöd från omgivningen.

SAMMANFATTNING
Syftet med denna undersökning var att försöka hitta de eventuella positiva effekter som kunde tänkas uppstå vid genomförande av arbetsplatsförlagd utbildning internationellt (utlands APU) för att i en förlängning kunna använda det som ett pedagogiskt hjälpmedel för de elever som studerar på Allhamra gymnasieskolas industriprogram. Materialet till undersökningen grundar sig på rapporter från Utbildningsdepartementet och intervjuer från elever på Allhamra gymnasieskolas industriprogram.
Metoden som valdes var kvalitativa intervjuer med halvstrukturerad intervjuform och ett fenomenografisk beskrivande perspektiv användes vid återgivande av informanternas svar där en hermeneutisk tolkning av intervjuerna gjordes. Det slutliga deltagarantalet uppgick till åtta personer.
Resultatredovisningen och resultatsammanfattningen visar att informanter som har genomfört utlands APU har fått yrkesmässig utveckling därmed nya kunskaper, de har även förbättrat sina språkkunskaper och fått ett stärkt självförtroende Det framkom även idéer hur studiemotivationen kan förbättras..

Public libraries have an important roll of making information accessible to all people. This democratic right supports the cultural development in our society. When public libraries build websites offering information and services it can sometimes cause obstacles for impaired users. It is therefore our purpose to evaluate a selection of websites and library plans to examine how the libraries work with accessibility for these users. This thesis is based on theories of cognitive and human computer interaction, and information architecture.
Det löser sig! : Förberedelsens betydelse för gymnasieelevers lärande vid kemilaborationer
Laboratory work is a big part of chemistry education in high school. During our student training placement we have noticed that the laboratory work is not fully utilized to develop students´ chemistry knowledge. This problem made us want to investigate how the laboratory work in chemistry could be set, to become more meaningful for students. We introduced two preparation methods, and examined the outcome of students learning experiences and their acquisition of chemistry knowledge. This was examined both through surveys and observation.

The observation of Swedish- and English language training in two classes have give a insight in how two teacher work with the language teaching in first grade. The class teachers who were interview received questions about the observation and what they think about language teaching. The questions were about their basic view on language teaching and arts of learning.

Since the beginning of 1940 there have been externally developed tests in Sweden. Their appearances have changed over the years together with the cognitive approach. Nowadays, this kind of tests is going by the name of the national tests, which was introduced in the year of 1994. When the Swedish National Agency for Education received the assignment to develop new purposes and national tests to the third grade students, debate took a bounce. The matter was well discussed; national tests in third grade or not?The national tests thus far carried out four rounds in the third grade and the purpose of my study was to find out how teachers are reasoning about the tests.
Scrum ? en fallstudie från lokala företags perspektiv
Through a case study, I wanted to find out what advantages and disadvantages
local companies consider with scrum and what they think about its future.
To find out what scrum is, I read the literature and scientific articles and
then wrote surveys based on my thoughts.
Further, I also wanted to find out if it?s possible to use scrum in a school
environment and therefore I visited a high school class who used scrum in one
of their projects.
The result was good but could have been better as it requires more training of
scrum to understand everything.
The surveys were distributed to various local companies. After having received
a lot of answers, I concluded that the clear priority was the most positive
feature of scrum and the most negative was that it was difficult to get the
rest of the organization to understand scrum, which creates problems.
Both high school class and local companies believe in scrum?s future, even if
they think scrum will be partially modified to adapt to the
software-development in the future.
According to the survey responses, the most important to get the projects to be
successful both now and in the future is that everyone who work with scrum is
right educated..
Konceptförslag till förarmiljö : Formspråk och utvalda reglage i estetisk och kognitiv ergonomisk tappning
Ett produktutvecklingsprojekt som behandlar hur problemen kring en förarmiljös formspråk, reglage och kombinationen av dessa i högre grad kan utformas på ett kognitivtergonomiskt och estetiskt vis med anknytning till varumärke.I projektet utfördes en omfattande studie över nutidens förarmiljöer där flera tydliga trender upptäcktes. I parallellkurs utfördes ett kognitiv ergonomiskt praktikfall tillsammans med litteratur som förankrat arbetet i att forma tekniken efter människan. Sedan har projektet fördjupat i estetiska principer och olika studier kring förarmiljöer behandlas. Konceptframtagningen bestod av tre faser. Där det initialt togs fram en mängd övergripande formspråk. Sedan lades de åt sidan för att utforma manöverdon.

Aim:The aim of this study is to examine similarities and differences in eating habits in students ages 16-19 in high school.Questions:How do eating habits differ between adolescent athletes and non-athletes?What significance does living conditions and religious background have on the eating habits of adolescents? Method: This study is of a quantitative approach using survey questions.The method used was questionnaires. Three schools participated in the study. The school provided programs with and without athletic orientation. My purpose was to give out 200 surveys but in the end the total of handed out surveys landed on 141.
Högläsning som resurs för utveckling av läsförståelse : En studie av lärares beskrivningar om högläsning för att utveckla elevers läsförståelse
The aim of the study is to investigate how teachers in grades 1?3 use reading aloud to develop the pupils? reading comprehension and how they reflect on the method. The study is based on interviews with four teachers, all of them working in these grades. The interviews have been interpreted hermeneutically and the statements compiled in accordance with the aim and research questions. The results indicate that all the teachers are aware that reading aloud can be used as a resource to develop pupils? reading comprehension.
"När jag började jobba i min klass kände jag mig totalt vilsen" : En kvalitativ studie av fem yrkesverksamma lärares erfarenheter av den interkulturella lärarutbildningen
The purpose of this paper is to explore how practicing teachers have included their education in their teaching profession. The five teachers who were interviewed expressed that they lack experience in dealing with administrative issues, conflict management, parental contact and how to manage stress. There has been prior research on how teachers perceive their everyday working lives. Those results showed that teachers are becoming stressed by not knowing how to handle certain situations.My results showed that the teachers were to busy so they created their own methods on how to deal with phenomena that the education have not treated or discussed. The interviews were analyzed with the help of two constructivist concept, authenticity and activity .Authenticity focuses on knowledge is created and constructed by everyday situations.
Dyskalkyli hos elever i grundskola och gymnasium
This paper presents the results of a study of dyscalculia. It is a retrospective archival study implemented with a deductive approach. On the basis of established research and theory 18 analytical categories were formulated, before a deductive thematic analysis of empirical material, consisting of journal data of 17 students investigated for dyscalculia, 14 girls (82.4%) and 3 boys (17.6%).The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the concepts formulated in research on dyscalculia and actual mathematical difficulties as those found in practice of students at school.All pupils had early and long-term difficulties with mathematics, while not showing any difficulties in other subjects. Most have had an unsatisfactory learning environment. All had normal intelligence but difficulty with certain cognitive, self-regulatory and linguistic features.
