The aim with this essay is to examine the individual's expectations in the meeting with a job coach. It has become all more common with job coaches, in order to meet the unemployment in the society. The survey builds on a quantitative method, where 29 individuals who are linked to a changeover-program towards new jobs, have replied to a questionnaire. The survey shows that the participants have expectations on the coach as a supporting function. There is also a trust to that the contact with a coach will lead to new employment.

Both contemporary research in History of Religions and current public debate tell us that Christianity as a religious form is challenged in today?s society. Nevertheless, Christianity is often present in secular artistic expression such as fictional literature. The purpose of this paper is to examine how God is portrayed in two late-modern Swedish novels, Djävulen och Gud by Mare Kandre (1993) and Boken by Niklas Rådström (2013).The examination is based on a hermeneutic method using close reading in order to answer the questions asked. The result of the examination shows that God in the late-modern novels is portrayed as a figure with shifting emotions, and in both novels God goes through changes which are in some ways similar.

Att arbetsleda omvårdnaden är en av sjuksköterskans viktigaste uppgifter. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur sjuksköterskan uppfattar sitt ledarskap i omvårdnaden. Metoden är en empirisk studie, där en enkät lämnades ut till 89 sjuksköterskor på en klinik vid UMAS. Enkäten besvarades av 68 (76,4 %) sjuksköterskor, vilket betyder att bortfallet var litet och därmed ökar studiens tyngd. I resultatet visade det sig att svaren följer Socialstyrelsens kompetensbeskrivning för sjuksköterskor, dock kan vissa andra tendenser skönjas i vissa variabler..

The main objective of this paper has been to construct a way to measure the level of social capital in a society. Based on a theory which describes the ideal society have I herein tried to find out to what extent the Swedish and Danish communities correspond to this model. The theoretical foundation consist of several different levels of analysis, and I have indeed found there to be consideral differences between the two nations on these different levels. This study aims to examine how social workers, in the Swedish social services, perceive and interpret LVU § 3 from a gender perspective. In total eight social workers participated in the study, attending interviews based on a vignette. From a gender perspective we wanted to found out how the social workers define "other socially destructive behaviour" and understand their thoughts about this subject. Moreover, we aimed to see if social workers perceive any differences between boys and girls behaviour. Based on several theories, two gender theories and concepts we have analysed our result from the interviews.

Luleå kommun står inför ett generationsskifte och utmaningen att rekrytera nyaarbetstagare, då de äldre arbetstagarna vid kommunen går i pension (Wikner, 2007). Syftet med examensarbetet är att skapa en bild av vad som har fått nuvarande anställda att välja Luleå kommun som arbetsgivare och vad som kan få Luleå kommun att attrahera framtida arbetstagare. Resultaten visar att motivationen hos respondenterna vid Luleå kommun skiljdesig åt beroende på yrke, arbetslivserfarenhet samt utbildning. Respondenterna motiverades bland annat av bra kollegor, förmåner på arbetet och känslan av att utföra ett värdefullt arbete. Anledningen till att de hade flyttat till just Luleå handlade om allt från att deras partner hade flyttat hit, närhet till hemkommun och till en ren slump.

Varje år får allt fler män diagnosen prostatacancer och behandlas för sjukdomen. Detta innebär också att fler män drabbas av de biverkningar som behandlingen kan medföra. Impotens ar en vanlig biverkning. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur den förändrade sexualiteten i samband med behandling av prostatacancer kan påverka mannens självbild och relationer. Metoden som använts var litteraturstudie.

Livmoderhalscancer påverkar de drabbade kvinnorna och deras närstående. Att inom sjukvården samtala om sjukdomens biverkningar och effekter kan upplevas som svårt. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av att leva med livmoderhalscancer. En litteratursökning genomfördes och 10 artiklar analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Detta resulterade i fyra kategorier: att förlora kvinnligheten och känna sig otillräcklig, att pendla mellan hopp och hopplöshet, att känna behov av närhet och stöd och att önska mer och tydlig information.

Syftet med denna studie är att få förståelse för varför arbetare i gruvnäringen i Gällivare väljer att långdistanspendla istället för att flytta.  Studien undersöker vilka som pendlar och vilka incitament som kan finnas till  pendling, men även vilka är några av de bakomliggande krafterna är till att inte flytta och vilka är som är viktiga för valet att bo kvar.Denna studie har genomförts med en kvalitativ metod. Här har fem respondenter som pendlar för arbete inom gruvnäringen i Gällivare intervjuats. Resultatet har tematiskt analyserats.Resultatet i denna studie visar att det är tillgången till arbete samt arbetets karaktär som är incitament och kan vara en grund för valet att arbeta i Gällivare, men även den ekonomiska vinsten kan spela en bidragande roll. The purpose of this master´s thesis was to investigate the role and function of the annual reports of public libraries: for what purpose are they put together and how are they evaluated and utilised. The study presents different views on the structure and content of library annual reports. Focusing on a specific public library and its municipal administration, the authors identify and describe problems and possibilities regarding the library annual reports. The study also provides a general view of their occurrence, their addressees and the importance attached to them.In a review of current literature on accounting and activity reports the authors place the annual reports of public libraries in a wider context. The study also presents two current models of performance measurement - the Intangible Assets Monitor and the Balanced Scorecard - which were developed in the private sector, and the authors discuss their relevance when applied to public libraries.Data were collected both in interviews and by means of a questionnaire.

This paper aims to examine performance monitoring in project organisations. The number of organisations that regularly performs projects as a key part of their operations grows rapidly, why this topic has become of large interest. Through a theoretical framework developed by Lars Östman in 1977, the performance monitoring system of the Swedish government-owned public utility Svenska Kraftnät is studied closely. The results from this analysis are then linked to an analysis of the organisation's internal structure through Mintzbergs generic organisational structures. Close connections are found between organisational structure and performance monitoring, which leads on to interesting observations about the connection between size of a project organisation and choice of monitoring method..

Hantering av servicesysslor samt förflyttningar på vårdavdelningen upptar en väsentlig del av en undersköterskas arbetstid. Denna studie kartlägger undersköterskors roll på en vårdavdelning på Vrinnevisjukhuset i Norrköping, Sverige. Studien analyserar hur undersköterskor fördelar sin tid mellan olika aktiviteter samt utformningen på hur en framtida utbyggnad på vårdavdelningen kan tänkas utformas.
