The purpose of this thesis is to compose a way for a small IT-company to communicate with their costumers and include them in the development of their IT-solution. The ambition with this study is to make this information strategy applicable to other small companies with the same problem.The empirics is built on literature studies and qualitative interviews which leads to a design proposition and try-outs with the target group. The results lead to a newsletter where news and information from the company could be presented simple and clear..

AbstractThis report discusses how the intranet as a communication tool can bedeveloped to become a daily work tool. An intranet can help the organization to get information out to the employees fast, and the employees can choose when they want to take part of the information. This report also discusses how the functions and the presented information can be developed to be even better. The proposals has been developed out from information gathered from a survey,the people who has answered the survey has been given their point of view of the intranet, and also proposals for improvements, which we have implemented in to our theory part. There is no company or organization that uses the exact same intranet solution.

Barriers decrease the efficiency of how knowledge is created, stored and shared, and they are therefore important to reduce or preferably remove making the KM activities result in as much value for the organisation as possible. To achieve this, it is important that the KM activities become a natural part of the employees? daily work.

AbstractThis master thesis is a hermeneutic inspired case study of how the value base regarding the environmental and social responsibility in the Swedish coffee company Löfbergs Lila AB is affecting the company's business. A thesis inspired by hermeneutics means that it is based on two ideas, the one of interaction between entirety and partitions and the one of interpretation (Alvesson & Sköldberg 1994). This cause that the emphasis is on how the reality is interpreted and that it never can be seen as completely objective.The case study was conducted during the spring semester of 2010 at Karlstad's University and consists of both empirical and theoretical material collected during this time. The empirical material in this thesis includes, among other things, interviews with four representatives of Löfbergs Lila AB, written material from the company regarding its work related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), some information about the coffee industry as a whole and different certifications for "ethical? coffee that exists on the Swedish market.The basic idea with CSR as a business strategy is that it can be financially beneficial for companies to take a social and environmental responsibility outside of the company (Vogel 2005).

Social media, with its immense and continuous flow of information, has in recent years growntremendously in terms of users and content. This increase has led companies and organizations keen to be seen within these channels of communication, but do they always have a clear idea of how andwhy, and are they aware of the risks that are associated with it? Current research on social media is somewhat divided in two. The debate concerns, among other things, what value the information on social media has, and whether the media is really a good communication channel or not. This raises several questions, for example can a company really afford to remain outside of social media with allthe information it generates? This research aims at answering these questions in order to further understand how organizations discuss social media presence and strategies.

This paper supports the thesis that creative consumer advertising also can be used as a recruitment tool. By increasing the level of creativity used in their communication, a company can affect the attractiveness of themselves as future employers. The creative advertising influences the brands perceived creativity. It also increases the perceived social, development- and reputational value as well as the future intentions with the brand. By being more creative the brand is also viewed as making more marketing effort, which in turn affects the perceived potential of the brand in a positive way.

The purpose of this essay is to establish whether the so called ?soup trilogy?, med en burk soppa (2001), konservöppnare bok (2003) and på burklös mark (2005), written by Swedish-speaking Finn Stefan Hammarén is to be considered as surrealism or not. The methods used to determinate this is close reading, a technique used for finding a text?s distinguishable traits, and comparative analysis. First of all, the criteria of surrealist literature found in André Breton?s (1896-1966) Surrealist Manifesto, and other sources, as well as the criteria for the surrealist literary technique cut-up are presented and evaluated accordingly.

The authors have relied on the qualitative method, where they have focused on how growth has increased the company Amway.Results: The results of this study are that Amway gradually managed to establish themselves globally thanks to the quality of the products they sell in a functioning market. The study also shows that all member customers are satisfied with the goods they buy from ABO groups, and that Amway's structure is not based on a pyramid scheme..

This is a study, the purpose of which is to investigate how the construction company Sefab Bygg AB is able to increase its profitability and render a more efficient production process through logistic solutions. The study is made during one of Sefab´s present projects. The project includes sanitary renovation of 650 apartments in the co-operative Opalen in Norrköping.To find out whether changes of logistic routines are profitable or not, it?s necessary to evaluate the total cost of the changes. A total cost analysis is a mapping of all the costs for a particular material, on one hand for the present situation and on the other after the change.

Den moderna flerenhetsfranchisetagaren: En studie i utformandet av kontrollsystem hos växande franchisetagare
Franchise theorists have to a large extent failed to keep up with the actual development in global franchise chains. The recent emergence of fast growing multi-unit-franchisees has fundamentally been ignored, and it has been claimed that the new phenomenon can be regarded as a mere replication of the franchisors? structure and control system into sub hierarchies. This study however, suggests that the reality is more complex. Through conducting case studies of two Nordic multi-unit-franchisees, new theories are built explaining how and why control systems are designed the way they are.
