In the west part of Trelleborg, on previous farmland a new society is under construction. It is situated right next to the ocean and close to the European freeway. Eight types of villages, all with different kind of architecture will be built in the area, one of them is Torns Village built by Skanska and Ikea. A concept called BoKlok. This specific village consists of twelve houses and five apartment buildings. They are all somewhat classical in their appearance with wooden panel, but at the same time they have a modern touch.

Denna studie ämnade ta reda på hur organisationskulturen påverkades och hur kommunikationen förmedlades vid en fusion av fem myndigheter till en övergripande myndighet. Tillvägagångssättet var kvalitativt med semistrukturerade intervjuer som datainsamlingsmetod. Sexton mellanchefer från fem olika avdelningar intervjuades om hur de uppfattade sammanslagningen och hur de upplevde kommunikationen inför, under och efter denna fusion samt hur de upplevde att organisationskulturen hade påverkats. Vidare undersöktes huruvida de upplevt att regeringens mål och vision för fusionen framgått tydligt. Analysprocessen genomfördes genom att meningskoncentrera transkriberingarna från intervjuerna och dela in dessa i huvudteman med subkategorier i två matriser och sedan analysera och sammanfatta dessa under respektive huvudtema.

Technology evolves quickly, with innovative ideas growing everywhere. Still, no technology is anywhere near challenging the mouse and keyboard for navigation of your standard computer. This study focuses on comparing the traditional technologies of mouse and keyboard with the new technology of gestures - in this case Leap Motion - in purpose of finding how the usage differs and what the potential users want from the competing technology. The experiment was executed in a controlled environment, with as few external factors as possible. We found that although the test subjects found Leap Motion fun, the test subjects do not want to surf the web with gestures.

Arbetet undersöker och kartlägger säkerhetsmedvetenhet gällande IT-användning samt säkerhetsnivån hos hemanvändare. Undersökningen grundas i påståendet att en legitim användare ofta utgör en säkerhetsrisk för systemet genom brist på kunskap. Anledningen till att fokus läggs på hemanvändaren är syftet att få fram data kring användarens säkerhetsmedvetenhet i en miljö där denne inte blir påverkad av utomstående faktorer såsom säkerhetsregler som ofta förekommer på arbetsplatser. Datainsamlingen sker genom enkätundersökning samt experiment. Arbetet använder sig också av av en litteraturstudie som syftar till att tillhandahålla bakgrund, fördjupa kunskapen inom ämnet samt sätta arbetet i ett större sammanhang.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate if the stock market reacts differently to accounting information, depending on the stock market climate. The study focuses solely on stocks listed on the OMX Stockholm 30 during each year from 2005 to 2009. By applying the concept of Earnings Response Coefficient we can estimate how the market reacts to accounting information. The dependent variable in the equation is the market reaction on unexpected earnings, in the study described as the abnormal return on stock. For quality purposes we measure this on a ±1,5,10 and 20 days basis.

Studies have found that the applicability of commercial marketing strategies within politics have increased in recent years as a result of a rising number of swing voters. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the effects of the commercial theory of incongruent information in political marketing in Sweden. Subsequently, an experiment with 742 participants was conducted, testing the effects of congruent and incongruent ad messages for two established Swedish parties. The effect of ad message choice on several well-established measures of ad effectiveness such as awareness, credibility, attitude, conviction and voting intentions was analyzed. The results showed that incongruent information effectively increases attitude, conviction and voting intention for voters who decide on the election day what party to vote for.

Uppsatsen behandlar ett antal teorier om vilken påverkan ljudsignaler har på individen. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur individen påverkas av ljudsignaler och kopplar ihop ljudsignaler som en teknisk produkt är avsedd att förmedla. För att på bästa sätt kunna utforska fenomenet utfördes ett experiment med hjälp av musikprogrammet Acoustica Mixcraft och åtta stycken ljudsignaler, varav 16 personer deltog i undersökningen. Fastställning av data presenterades i 3 tre- vägs ANOVA. Resultat på ? nivå redovisas, samt en interaktion mellan faktorer.

Using neorealistc theory one part conlusion is the fact that the new Syrian leader, Bashar al-Hasad, in the early 21th century determined to set higher goals for the Syrian power ambition in the Middle East, threatened to destabilize the region and leave the US and its allies in a caotic situation.In the US, however, the new administration after 11/9 sharpened its tone towards states that did not cooperate in the new ?war on terrorism? or/and were likely to harbour terrorists. Syria was accused of doing both.

En rad studier som har undersökt syntaktisk priming som fenomen och metod har genomförts framför allt med L1- och L2-engelska. Kan man se effekter av syntaktisk priming inom L2, även när L2 är svenska? Finns det någon skillnad mellan effekterna av priming i en grupp deltagare med svenska som L2, jämfört med effekterna i en grupp deltagare med svenska som L1? Kan man finna samband mellan olika bakgrundsfaktorer som vistelsetid, omfattning av språkanvändning respektive språkbehärskning och effekter av priming i en grupp svenska som L2-talare? För att finna svar på dessa frågor genomfördes ett experiment med syntaktisk priming. Ett fyrtiotal gymnasieelever uppmanades skriva meningar till bilder, sedan de primats med morfologiska passiver. Resultaten av experimentet visar på tydliga primingeffekter i linje med tidigare studier: Det finns primingeffekter både inom L1- och L2-svenska, detta trots att den undersökta grammatiska konstruktionen är av annat slag än de som legat till grund för tidigare forskning..

Hen beskrivs som ett könsneutralt pronomen som används när könstillhörigheten är okänd, oväsentlig eller ska otydliggöras samt där människan inte vill kategoriseras i grupperna ?man? eller ?kvinna?. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken inverkan det könsneutrala pronomenet hen har på människor. Tre frågeställningar användes ?påverkas attityden till författaren när pronomenet hen används i text??, ?hur upplevs den språkliga kvalitén när författaren väljer att använda pronomenet hen??, ?är en text med hen mer påverkande än en text utan hen??.

Studien grundar sig i ett intresse för hur barn interagerar med datorspel. Datorer och datorspel blir mer och mer vanliga i barnens omvärld. Syftet med studien är att belysa och beskriva hur barn i fem års åldern gör när de spelar ett datorspel och hur de interagerar med det. Vi belyser bland annat hur barnen tolkar ikoner, hur de förstår den auditiva informationen i kombination med bilderna, och vilka strategier de använder för att ta sig vidare i spelet. Vi studerar också vad de minns när de spelar spelet för andra gången.

With gas prices persistently rising, electric and hybrid vehicles are getting more and more common and in recent years several new electric cars have evolved on the market. Although the energy consumption and low emissions are a huge benefit of the electric cars, they inevitably suffer from high prices, short range and time consuming recharging periods. To be able to withstand the competition it is important that electric vehicles not only can withstand general were and tare, but also the harsh conditions that ordinary cars is exposed to in daily usage. The purpose of this project is to develop a test methodology which replicate situations that could appear in daily usage of electric or hybrid cars and to understand the problems related to usage of electric cars in winter conditions. This paper also discusses the major differences between hybrid cars and electric cars.

Healthy, natural pastures is very valuable for biodiversity in the form of both plants and animals. An efficient use of pastures helps to preserve biodiversity, but grazing animals needs to be de-wormed to keep them healthy and to prevent harmful parasites spread on the pasture. The awareness about the environmental impact of the frequent use of deworming agents is low among the public. Some people are unaware that the absorption in horses of anthelmintics is incomplete, which make the circumstances about enviromental effect important to investigate further. The scientific evidence in this area is limited and more studies and trials are needed to deepen the knowledge about the effects of anthelmintics in the environment.

The aim of this study was to detect antibodies in swine serum against proteins in soy beans, wheat, oat and barley. Two methods were used: agar gel immunodiffusion test (AGID), and SDS-PAGE followed by immunoblotting. The sera examined originated (I) from piglets younger than one week (negative control), (II) pigs from a feed trial with soy bean in a herd with PMWS, and (III) pigs inoculated with Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and Escherichia coli after being fed with soy. The AGID-test was negative concerning all examined sera which were analysed against proteins in soy bean, wheat, oat and barley. In the experiment based on immunoblot antibodies were demonstrated within all three groups of examined pigs.
