In this final thesis two simulation models have been integrated. The simulation models are models of JAS 39 Gripen?s fuel system, software and hardware. The time consuming and costly work to develop software has made the department of fuel system to build two models in Xmath/Systembuild. The software model also simplifies the comprehension of how the software in the control computer of the fuel system works.

The papers purpose is to examine how the Botkyrka and Huddinge municipalities implement their juvenile law offenders' programs. The paper briefly and concisely outlines the history of juvenile offenders and the social services programs dealing with them. We focus on how two municipalities?, Huddinge and Botkyrka, implement these programs. The municipalities belong to the same judicial district,?Södertörns tingsrätt?.

Bakgrund och problem: Dagens företag verkar i en osäker och dynamisk miljö där marknaden ställer allt högre krav på snabba förändringar och anpassningar till kundernas behov. För att möta denna dynamiska omgivning har en rad nya produktionsfilosofier introducerats. En av dessa som fått stor uppmärksamhet och vars användning ökat är lean.Under senare år har det kommit att riktas stark kritik mot tillämpningen av traditionell ekonomistyrning och att denna kan vara skadlig vid tillämpningen vid lean. Andra forskare tar det steget längre och ställer sig frågan om det finns någon plats för ekonomistyrningen vid operationella koncept.Som ett svar på ovanstående kritik introducerades lean accounting, ett ämne som fortfarande är hårt debatterat inom managementlitteraturen. This paper presents a project and literature overview about how risk management and quality sometimes goes hand in hand and sometimes in two different directions. Meaning that the risk management can affect product or process quality differently depending on what risks an organisation chooses to control.The purpose with this paper is to get a deeper understanding about how risk and quality works together with IT-support and therefore we have been actively participating in a project with a risk management company called Zert. A literature study and a qualitative interview study have also been undertaken to see what the customers and the other researchers have written, to be able to make proper conclusions on the subject.To easily work together and get the information that was needed, four methods where used. Besides the qualitative interview and literature study the think-out-loud, card sorting and a variation on the extreme programming method where used to help visualize and improve communication both with Zert, the costumers and among ourselves.Zert is a risk management company that helps other organisations to control their different types of risks that they might be taking, by offering a system where the risk management process is held and providing consulting services by helping within the processes. Both Zert and their customers see the communication, knowledge and teamwork as something important as well as the quality within the work, processes and the end result.

Sammanfattning Syfte:Syftet med vår undersökning var att skapa förståelse för hur företag arbetar med etiska och moraliska frågor i samband med ekonomistyrning. Metod:Vår undersökning har gjorts i tre svenska företag genom personliga intervjuer med personer i chefs- eller ledarposition på varje företag. Den insamlade empirin har sedan sammanställts och analyserats genom att jämföra den med vårt teoriavsnitt. Ledarskap handlar om hur läraren hanterar den socialpedagogiska situationen i klassrummet, d.v.s. lärarens sociala relation till klassen och elevernas relationer till varandra i undervisnings- och lärprocessenSyftet med det arbetet är att undersöka idrottslärares syn på ledarskap i de åländska skolorna samt att undersöka vilka faktorer som kan påverka deras ledarskap.Det som idrottslärarna anser vara goda ledaregenskaper hos en lärare är bland annat att de är trygga i sig själva som person, organiserade, målmedvetna och ärliga. De anser att faktorer som ekonomi, material, normer och tid kan påverka deras ledarskap och undervisning.Ledarskap kan ofta vara krävande och som ledare kan du få ta itu med mycket problem som kan uppstå under vägen som till exempel konflikthantering. Att leda andra är roligt men också väldigt utmanande många gånger och framför allt ska man komma ihåg att det ger otroligt mycket tillbaka. .

The aim of this study was to see if there is any group of cats that are at greater risk to get sick and/or be euthanized during their stay at a cat shelter with no-kill policy. The study was conducted at Åkeshov cat rescue center in Sweden and cats that entered the center between the 1th of June 2010 and the 31th of December 2011 was used in the study. This study focused on factors regarding gender, origin, level of socialization, incubation period and the proportion of euthanized cats. In this study, the kind of illness weren?t taken into account. This study showed that the gender of the cat didn´t affect the risk for illness.

The purpose of this thesis is to clarify the concept of ?managing diversity? and to describe how it appears in the Swedish school, in the classroom as well as in the organisation. To support the study, interviews have been carried out with principals and teachers in three different Swedish schools.The thesis is divided into two sections; a literature study and an interview section where we describe the thoughts and knowledge of principals and teachers. From a diversity point of view, we discuss the relationship between documents, organisation and teaching.The study described in this thesis shows that managing diversity has not yet had its break-through in a Swedish school context. The official curriculum of the Swedish school system values diversity, although the directives are unclear as to how the managing of diversity is to be carried out in reality.

The purpose of this study is to compare the conditions for teaching and learning Sami at primary level in three different types of schools. The study focuses on teachers' views on multilingualism and characteristics of good mother tongue education as well as factors inside and outside school affecting teaching. The classroom environment is also discussed. Six qualitative interviews with practicing teachers in the three school forms were carried out: Sami school, integrated teaching and mother-tongue education. The results showed that the teachers are in favour of multilingualism and feel a responsibility to help more children develop their ability to speak Sami.

Att vara lärare innebär många saker men framför allt handlar det om att kunna leda människor. Lärares ledarskap påverkar elevernas lärande och utveckling. Det övergripande syftet med detta arbete är att försöka ta reda på vad elever anser om lärares ledarskap och då främst vilka ledaregenskaper som kännetecknar en bra respektive dålig lärare.Arbetet består av en litteraturstudie samt en empirisk studie i form av kvalitativa intervjuer med åtta elever i åldrarna 9 respektive 15 år.I min undersökning har jag kommit fram till att elever uppskattar ett ledarskap som är grundat på förtroende, tydlighet, struktur och ödmjukhet. Detta skapas genom tydliga regler och konsekvenser, ömsesidig respekt, ett inspirerande och variationsrikt arbetssätt samt genom att ha kul tillsammans. Det är även mycket viktigt att man som lärare har förmåga att lösa och hantera konflikter på ett professionellt sätt enligt eleverna..

As a consequence of increasing wind power installations in the Nordic grid the last years, the need for regulating power has become larger. In the Nordic grid, regulating power is mainly provided by hydro power. One part of the regulating power is called frequency control, which ensures that the grid frequency is stable and close to 50 Hz.However, setting the turbine into frequency controlled operation may cause stress and wear of the components in the mechanical control system. Frequency controlling implies large and frequent servo forces and longer travelling distance of the sliding bearings in the Kaplan turbine.Based on one selected Kaplan turbine, Selsfors G1, measurements and MATLAB calculations have been performed in order to determine forces and movements of the linkage system. With these forces and movements as input, stresses and fatigue have been determined as well as sliding distances, bearing pressures and wear of bearings during a typical lifetime of 40 years.The results indicate that no severe wear exists on the bearings during 40 years of service.

Background: Breastfeeding frequency decrease in Sweden and infants born preterm is a particularly vulnerable group to not be breastfed according to current recommendations. Mothers of preterm infants have an extra need of support from the health care system. Mothers' self-efficacy in breastfeeding affects the outcome of breastfeeding. Health professionals' attitudes to breastfeeding have an impact on the breast feeding support they provide to the mothers.Aim: To investigate whether an intervention could strengthen self-efficacy in breastfeeding among mothers of premature babies. A further aim was to investigate whether the intervention influenced health professionals' attitudes to breastfeeding.Method/Design: An experimental study with quantitative approach in the form of questionnaire survey was conducted.
