This report describes the construction and development of a control box, which is a tool for testing and verifying a certain model of Rapid?s built in staplers (model A6102). Basically the function of the control box is to interpret any errors that may occur in the stapler and to make it possible to test fire the stapler.The control box should be able to communicate with the stapler using a specialized communication protocol. The different data such as errors, firmware etc. from the stapler is presented in plain language on a display.
NO-undervisning i klassrummet : En observationsstudie i hur undervisningen bedrivs av fem lärare på en skola
This essay is based on students' growing lack of interest in science at school. Both from a democratic and social perspective, this is a worrying factor for the future. Through observation, I investigated how five science teachers conduct their teaching. This is to get a better understanding of how teachers' behaviour in the classroom can affect students' interest in science. With a socio-cultural research approach, I have tried to highlight a few pieces of the puzzle that may explain students' declining interest in science.
Ideella organisationer - självständiga samhällsaktörer eller kommunens förlängda arm? : En studie om homogeniseringstryck och kontroll
This thesis examine if social voluntary organisations are independent or if they are being regulated by the public sector. We ask how free the organisations are since they get so much support and funding from the municipality. This is examined by looking at the homogenisation pressure, which means that organisations are being exposed by a pressure to become more similar. The control that the municipality has over the organisations is another aspect in this paper. The study focuses on the relation between the municipality of Linköping and three social voluntary organisations and their characteristics.

We live in a society that is constantly developing and where technology is getting a more major roll. The school is a very important part of our society and should therefore develop in pace with the surrounding society. Having this in our thoughts we decided that our purpose for this case study should be to study the importance of technology in a learning environment for seventh graders in a specific school. To be able to find this out, we have used constructivism and sociocultural perspective on learning. We have gathered our empirical data for the study through participant observations and a focus group interview.

This master thesis is made of two parts. The first part concerns the method and results ofdesigning a motion control system for a piece of research-equipment called BIRGIT. Theequipment is made to be used for research on eyemovements. In the second part, a computermodel of a part of the balance organ in the inner-ear is developed. The work has been done atthe Bernadotte laboratory at S:t Erik Eye Hospital.The equipment the control system is made for is a so-called rotationchair.

Abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate if and how the employees in elderly care experience stress and which underlying causes they understand to be important in their work situation. The purpose was also to investigate whether Karaseks and Theorells demands and control models could be used to explain the employees feelings of stress and to see in which categories the participants are in. Furthermore, the purpose was also to understand the participants work situation and to describe the factors and remedies the employees perceive to contribute to the stress levels at their workplace. 81 questionnaires were distributed at three different locations, two of which were in Ronneby and one in Örebro. 56 people answered the questionnaires.
Läromedel och hjälpmedel på gymnasiet : En uppsats om hur lärarna gör och tänker
The main purpose with this study is to describe teachers? use of textbooks and other teaching materials in upper secondary school (gymnasiet) in Sweden, and to discuss the use according to school subject and teacher style. Data was collected in two different ways. At first twenty classroom observations were made during lectures concerning the subjects Swedish (mothertounge), English (foreign language) and religion. Then four open interviews were carried out with the teaching teachers.

The Swedish society woke up Boxing Day 2004 to the greatest disaster in modern times. As a result of a strong earthquake in the Indian Ocean tsunamis occurred that devastated resorts where thousands of Swedes were. The Swedish Code for Corporate Governance was introduced on July 1, 2005. All companies then listed at OM Stockholmsbörsen A-list and those on the O-list with a market value of more than three billion SKr must implement the rules in the Code. The Code includes rules for corporate governance as a complement to the legislation. The Code is based on the principle comply or explain. This means that the companies are aloud to diverge from the rules if they explain why.
Syskonplaceringens betydelse för locus of control
Skillnader mellan förstfödda och senarefödda är ett vanligt undersökningsobjekt, där välkända stereotyper finns. Förstfödda anses vara mer målinriktade, konservativa, ansvarstagande och kravfyllda, medan senarefödda ofta påstås vara tvungna att bryta mönster och är därför mer rebelliska och öppna för nya erfarenheter. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka syskonplaceringens påverkan på sättet att attribuera orsakerna till händelser och prestationer. Rotters locus of control-skala användes i en Internetbaserad enkät, till vilken en öppen annonsering nyttjades. Studien använde en inomfamiljsdesign och begränsandes till att omfatta en traditionell kärnfamilj med biologiska föräldrar och enbart helsyskon.
Elevers uppfattning och användning av sitt skolbibliotek i en invandrartät gymnasieskola
This thesis examines the perception and use of the school library for students at an Upper Secondary School. The school has a high frequent of immigrant students, and the students interviewed all have an immigrant background. The intention was to find out how the students used the school library and what perception they have of the school library. The method used was semi-structured interviews with eight students, both males and females, who studies different educational programs. The instrument of theory was that from Elisabeth Tallaksen Rafste?s theoretical framework.
Lärarens första ljuva år som ledare : En kvalitativ undersökningom fem nyutexaminerade 1-6 lärares föreställningar kring sitt ledarskap
The purpose of this essay is to find out what new graduate teachers conceptions are of their own leadership in the classroom. The paper also aims to examine the different leadership styles the teachers perceive themselves to use. My study is based on qualitative data collected through interviews, where the informants are newly graduated teachers in grade 1 to 6. Using a qualitative approach has made it possible for me to get a deeper understanding of this study. I have also used previous research in this area where Arfwedson (1993), Franssons & Morbergs (2001) and Paulin (2007) presents a number of experiences that student teachers and recent graduate teachers has shared.
Conscientiousness, Locus of Control och Arbetsmotivation
Studien syftade till att undersöka om det finns samband mellan conscientiousness, Locus of Control och arbetsmotivation samt om ålder och anställningslängd predicerar en del av ar-betsmotivation. Studien omfattade 63 anställda (28 kvinnor och 35 män) på ett telekommuni-kationsföretag i Sverige. För att studera conscientiousness användes ett egenformulerat test med god intern homogenitet, Cronbachs alfa = 0,85. För att mäta Locus of Control och ar-betsmotivation användes redan konstruerade test med god validitet och reliabilitet, skapade av Rotter (1966) och Cammann, Fichman, Jenkins och Klesh (i Bowling & Hammond 2008). I den statistiska prövningen användes både bivariat korrelation i form av Spearmans rho och MRA-standard och hierarkisk.
Chick lit i litteraturundervisningen? : - om kritisk läsning inom svenskämnet på gymnasiet
I have with this thesis sought to understand how chick lit could be useful in the classroom in the teaching of Swedish B-course in high school. Based on the model of critical literacy I am arguing that this genre would help to meet the objectives of the policy documents which, among other things, are to critically examine and analyze various types of texts.I have found that some of these texts could be used for analyzing and critically examine the ideological dimensions of texts and cultural heritage by the model of critical literacy, and also as a counterweight to the more traditional teaching of the canonical literature as a literary historical stuff that students should learn. I have also wanted to create a basis for discussions about literature in the classroom based on the chick lit genre. To do this I have, based on three themes and questions from the model of critical literacy, tried to focus on issues that might emerge from the ideological analysis and critical review. The model aims to deconstruct norms of society, and in the work of chick lit, I wanted to show how you could deconstruct norms around gender..

The purpose of this study is to reach an understandingfrom the teachers' perspective of their possibilities to successfully teach ina way that fulfills every child's individual needs in a classroom, according tothe idea of a school for everyone. This study also aims for an understanding ofhow the inclusion of children with special needs in the classroom effect the otherpupils. The main questions asked are:How do teachers think that the conditions of teaching adaptedto all pupils look like in practice?What are the factual conditions that affect the terms forinclusive education according to the teachers?The empirical data were obtained through qualitativesemi-structured interviews with six teachers in primary school, stage 1-3. The materialwas processed using an inductive thematic analysis.
