Att framföra kompositioner ur minne kan innebära ett hot eller vara en tillgång för elever som spelar klassiskt piano. Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka hur pianopedagoger kan hjälpa elever att utveckla deras verktyg för memorering och framförande utantill, och bidra till att spelet ur minne upplevs av elever som en tillgång. Svar på denna fråga söker jag med mitt framtida yrke i åtanke. Jag har genomfört en enkätundersökning bland pianostudenter vid Musikhögskolan i Piteå för att få en verklighetsförankrad bakgrund till uppsatsen, samt studerat litteratur skriven av pianopedagoger och verksamma konsertpianister från olika länder. Enkätens resultat visar på en klyfta mellan studenternas positiva uppfattning om memorering å ena sidan och brister i deras memoreringsverkstad å andra sidan, vilket resulterar i att de inte längre memorerar sin repertoar.

This paper is an account of the inventory I've made of documents in the archive at Museum Gustavianum, Collections storage Husbyborg, relating to the excavations in Asine, Greece, in the 1920s. The aim of this inventory has been to establish which of the documents in the Husbyborg archives that belong to the department of Classical Studies at Uppsala University. Documents belonging to other archives have been found alongside the one mentioned above and those are the Original documentation (loan from Carolina) and the personal archive of Professor Axel W. Persson. The documents have been arranged according to the General Archive Scheme (Allmänna arkivschemat) seeing that the department of Classical Studies already had a series named Documents relating to the departments archeological collections, and the inventory I've made will be incorporated with that.

Rock singing - five vocal teachers´ experience of the female voice.The purpose of this study is to find out what different vocal teachers have to say about rock singing and the female singing voice. The method I have used to gather information is a phenomenographically inspired qualitative interview. The study begins with a few thoughts about my interest in rock singing, followed by a short overview about other research and literature that has been published on the subject. I have interviewed five vocal teachers in this study. All of them with many years experience of singing, both singing themselves and teaching professionally.

In which ways have composing processes in music appeared over the past 300 years? How may composing processes work today? What does new technology do to this processes?The key purpose of this study is to investigate various composing processes. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur lärare i årskurs 1 respektive 3 beskriver och motiverar sitt arbete med språkutveckling och läsförståelse tillsammans med högläsning. Studien utgår från följande frågeställningar:Hur beskriver och motiverar lärare sitt arbete med högläsning?Vilka arbetssätt används för att förstärka högläsningens effekt på elevernas språkutveckling?Hur arbetar lärare så att elevernas läsförståelse gynnas tillsammans med högläsningen?Skiljer sig det aktiva arbetet med högläsning åt mellan årskurs 1 och årskurs 3 i just de här skolorna? I så fall hur?Studien gjordes med hjälp av en enkät som har besvarats av 50 lärare och intervjuer med fem lärare som arbetar i årskurs 1 och årskurs 3. Studien utgår fyra teorianknytningar och dessa är Lev Vygotskijs teori om sociokulturellt perspektiv, Vygotskijs teori "Zone of proximal development", Aidan Chambers teori om boksamtal och Barbro Westlunds teori om lässtrategier. Resultatet av studien visar att lärarna beskriver högläsning som ett positiv arbetssätt som utvecklar elevernas språkkunskaper och läsförståelse.

Fighting against accidents with elderly involved have come to be one of the west world's greatest challenges together with the climate changes and epidemics, and in order to fight against these accidents SDF Centre, Gothenburg appointed a man to the post as a caretaker.The aim of this master thesis is to analyse whether the implementation process and the systematic work correspond with Vedungs implementation theory and also put forward arguments for and against a masculine entrance into promotion old-age care; if it strengthens or is a take-off from the classical sexual roles.The thesis main theory is Evert Vedungs theory of implementation, which is constituted of eight factors which facilitates an implementation process. In order to theorise the sexual roles I have appropriated a gender perspective, constituted of multiple researchers and authors.The conclusion I have received through the qualitative interviews carried out with actors involved in the implementation process, is that the security services implementation correspond well with Vedungs implementation theory, hence the implementation has proceeded efficiently. The classical sexual roles is on one hand strengthened through a masculine possession of the security service, and on the other hand can the masculine entrance in the old-age care entail that more men apply for promotion old-age care work..

I detta examensarbete beskriver jag FMT-metoden och visar på dess möjlighet att bidra till en ökad livskvalité. Jag beskriver mitt arbete med två barn med hjärnskada och deras utveckling med FMT som stöd. Frågan jag ställde mig var om FMT stämmer med Svenska Kyrkans uppdrag. The purpose of this MSc thesis is to examine the retrieval effectiveness of two Web search engines with queries from the academic discipline of Classical Studies. The two search engines are chosen to represent two different types Google as a broad general search engine and Argos as a specialised search engine for the subject of Classical Studies. The search engines are compared for precision among the first twenty results returned for thirty queries. In order to avoid bias in the study, the queries are based on real users' information needs. Due to the subjective character of the concept of relevance, the study is performed with five different experiments with five different definitions of relevance.

NorFor is a cooperative project between the consulting organisations owned by the farmers in the Nordic countries ? Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. The project started in 2001 and the outcome, the system for ration calculation NorFor Plan and the model for evaluating the ration NorFor Evaluation, was completed in 2006. Along with NorFor Plan economical optimization are available and according to literature, the optimization will generate a 2 öre lower feed cost per kg milk, and thereby improve the profit for the farmer. The use of NorFor Plan in Sweden for feed optimization during spring 2008 has been very small. In this study eight herds in the middle of Sweden fed half the herd according to the classical system used in Sweden and the other half according to NorFor Plan system.

This study had two different aims. The main aim was to investigate the dynamics and impact of African swine fever (ASF) on a farm in Uganda during a recent outbreak through a case study. The second aim was to estimate the presence of two important differential diagnoses of ASF: Classical swine fever (CSF) and Porcine Reproduction and Respiratory syndrome (PRRS).The field and laboratory based case study of the farm level dynamics of ASF virus during a recent outbreak (October-December 2010) on a farm in the district of Mityana, Uganda, was conducted, using interviews, ELISA and RT-PCR. The financial impact on the farm was also estimated. The impact of the outbreak was profound.

Studien undersöker hur man på ett praktiskt sätt kan knyta samman musikteori-, gehörs- och ensembleundervisningen. Syftet är att undersöka möjligheten att i jazzsammanhang träna sitt gehör i grupp vid sina instrument. Jag har utvecklat tre gehörsövningar som undersöks i den här studien. Övningarna är konstruerade så att exempelvis pianisten skall övas i att höra basgångar, medan basisten övas i att höra ackordläggningar. En av ensembledeltagarna (piano, gitarr, sång, blås eller bas) styr övningen och väljer hur ackordföljden ska fortsätta genom att följa vissa regler (exempelvis upplöses dominanter alltid ren kvart upp/ren kvint ner).
