There are changes in Sweden's foreign policy, and Sweden is no longer a non-aligned and neutral nation. Sweden has expressed a willingness to actively participate in creating peace and stability in the world by giving and receiving military assistance in case of war, crisis or disaster. This is described as complete turnaround in Swedish policy compared to the neutrality and non-alignment during the Cold war.However new research shows that defence cooperation is not new in the Nordic region. Sweden cooperated secretly with Denmark and Norway, two NATO countries, about co-operative defence of Scandinavia during the Cold War.Is our historical picture wrong and what we perceive as new and revolutionized not particularly new? Is today's open Nordic defence cooperation a continuation of what was done in secret during the Cold War? The essay investigates and compares two different Swedish defence cooperation?s where one was previously secret and the other is open.

Since the year 2005 listed companies are supposed to use international accounting standards when they set up their group accountancy. One thing that has changed with the new standards is the accounting of goodwill and long-lived intangible assets. Earlier companies were supposed to write of their goodwill during the years they had expected the extra profit to arise. According to the new regulation, an impairment test shall be done annually, as well as when there is an indication of decreased value. According to IAS 36 point 134, the company shall provide information in their accountancy about the impairment test.The aim of this study is to find out if some companies may be willing to reveal less information in their accountancy, and if there are any factors that affect this.

This thesis concerns the control of outsourced interorganizational buyer-supplier relationships in the low-price fashion industry. A qualitative case study has been performed on two supplier relationships of a low-price fashion company. By identifying specificities of the industry and relating them to control problems and their implications on control solutions, the thesis has established a relation between industry specific characteristics and the way companies in the industry control their supplier relationships. The analysis is based on a theoretical framework created by Dekker (2004). Amongst other factors, the difficulty to define, quantify and measure the design variables of a fashion good, the high heterogeneity between individual products and the difficulty to predict the trend based demand, create high coordination requirements as well as appropriation concerns solved through extensive formal control.

I en värld full av teknik och information som flödar är det viktigt att ha kontroll över den data som anses vara viktig för organisationen. Skulle informationen hamna i orätta händer kan det innebära förödande konsekvenser för organisationen och i vissa fall även deras kunder. För att undvika detta bör rätt sorts skydd anpassas till den typ av data man avser att skydda men även organisationen som helhet. Aspekter som frekvens och förödelse vid ett hot men även hur viktig datan är, är olika aspekter som måste utvärderas för att kunna anpassa och investera i rätt typ av skydd. Denna studie jämför två svenska IT-relaterade företag i varierande storlekar med avsikten att undersöka om det finns en relation mellan datasäkerhetsmedvetandet och företagens storlek, eller om det finns en annan relation som påverkar graden av säkerhetsmedvetenhet i en organisation.

Bemanningsbranschen är en ny och expanderande bransch i Sverige. Brain Bemanning är en av branschens aktörer som inriktar sig på att hyra ut högskolestudenter till företag och detta projekt utgår ifrån ett uppdrag för företaget i fråga. Projektets syfte var att utveckla ett förslag till lojalitetsprogram för Brain Bemannings uthyrda konsulter. Företaget ville ha hjälp med att deras uthyrda konsulter skall känna sig mer integrerade i företaget. För att kunna svara på projektets frågeställning genomfördes kvalitativa intervjuer där hermeneutiken använts som vårt vetenskapliga angreppssätt.

Studien är en diskursanalys av jämlikhet i nordiska styrdokument för grundskolor. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten utgörs av Ernesto Laclaus och Chantal Mouffes diskursteori, kompletterad av Judith Butler teori kring könsdikotomin. Genom en kvalitativ textanalys urskiljs diskursiva processer av norm- och gruppbildning i styrdokumenten. Fram träder en bild där jämlikhet som begrepp och värde skiljer sig mellan de nordiska länderna men också stora likheter. Kön är en överordnad jämlikhetsfråga samtidigt som det råder en tydlig hierarki mellan de grupper som särskiljs från majoritetsgruppen utifrån föreställningar om språk och kultur.

In 2014-2015 a large-scale Ebola epidemic occurred in West Africa. The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency was given the order to conduct the Swedish response. The purpose of this case study was to investigate the impact on project planning of the three factors: the nature of the crisis, political initiative and developing countries. In this case study the crisis was an epidemic, and the project was initiated by the Swedish Government and conducted in two developing countries. The results were intended to contribute to developed understanding and recommendations for future project managers in similar projects.

Increased trade and exchange within the European Community has brought with it the need for less restricted circulation of judgments. The situation has improved greatly due to the enactment of Regulation (EC) No. 44/2001 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (the Brussels I Regulation).Despite recent improvements the proceedings are still time-consuming and difficult. In the year 2002 a commission wasappointed by the government and taskedto clear up possible flaws in the lawgoverning spatial planning (Plan ochbygglagen, PBL). The arguments put forward in support of how stages are organised have been studied, likewise whether municipalities have acted rationally when making their decisions.Six municipalities are included in the survey. They were divided into three educational categories: lower, middle and high level schools; previous and recent schools and F9 schools with pre-schools and primary schools integrated.Minutes from politicians' and civil servants' meetings have been studied and categorised according to arguments for and against. The most common supportive arguments are about economy and organisation, others concern school premises, trends and the wish for a comprehensive compulsory school.

The study investigates the use of collection and treatment wagon for piglets in relation to castration. The importance of good and ergonomically designed tools in pig stables can probably reduce the risk of suffering from musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). This thesis aims towards an understanding of information systems and subject representation in relation to academic disciplines. This is achieved by comparing how a discipline, History of science and ideas, represents itself compared with the subject representation of its dissertations in an information system, LIBRIS. The point of departure for this thesis is the domain analytic view of Hjorland which states that the quality in information seeking is enhanced if the subject representation considers the contexts in which documents are produced and used. The importance of concepts such as domain and discipline is discussed. The disciplines view of itself is established by the study of articles written by scholars in the discipline, by how the discipline presents itself on the homepages of five university institutions and by the examination of titles and keywords given to dissertations in the discipline.
