The landscape can be something that you rest your eyes on, something that goes quickly past outside the windscreen or the place for the daily work. To me, landscape is everything around us ? the city, the field and the forest. But what is landscape for you? What does the idea of the landscape stand for? How does our view of the landscape become influenced of the place where we grow up? And the differences between peoples different views of the landscape ? what does they depend on? My point of the view for this paper is that the landscape ideals mostly depend on the landscape where you grow up and that it depends less on the differences between the individuals. As a landscape architect the idea of the landscape is the essential. The more we learn, the more we realize how complex it is, but deep down we always have our own experiences and memories and that shapes our personalities.

Change is a natural state for both people and institutions, but as the surrounding world moves faster it becomes important to quickly be able to adjust to new conditions. Customers? force of negotiation increases as the global competition grows. One factor that becomes more vital to customers is the amount of quality standard a company can offer them. Several factors are essential if a work of change will be considered a successful investment, where the change can be perceived in both a positive and negative way for an employee.

The United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) ger en mer specifik definition till korruption än the African Convention on Combating and Preventing Corruption and Related Offences (AUCPCC). Då det finns flera olika definitioner av korruption kan diskuteras huruvida en enhetlig definition är nödvändig. Korruption påverkar även rätten till att bli prövad av en självständig och oberoende domstol. De internationella regelverk som behandlar denna rättighet är the Universal Declaration on Human Rights (UDHR), the African Charter on Human and Peoples? Rights (ACHPR) och the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).

This study highlights the importance of computer technology and its impact on elder care staff's skills development in the public sector. The government presents the digital agenda within which information and communication technology today is considered to have a potential for sustainability, growth and development. According to the EU Commission, there are several important elements that should be improved to digitize the workplace. Among these are digital literacy, collaboration between agencies and increased investments in research, education and innovation. New technology can be understood in different ways by individuals, some see the computer as something positive and exciting, while others may find it hard to see the opportunities for learning and development.

Den svenska FM är beroende av civil sjukvård för kirurgiskt omhändertagande i händelse av skadeutfall. Under det kalla kriget vilade den svenska krigssjukvårdsorganisationen på den militära sjukvårdsorganisationen, civilförsvaret och den civila sjukvården. År 2014 är den militära kirurgiska omhändertagandeförmågan reducerad till ca 1 % av tidigare kapacitet. Civilförsvarets organisation och stor del av fasta installationer och beredskapsförråd har reducerats starkt. Uppgiften att planera och organisera för civilt skydd är i enlighet med ansvars-, likhets- och närhetsprinciperna delegerad till regional och lokal nivå.

The aim of this study is to investigate which communication strategies and channels the mu- nicipal company Falu Energi & Vatten should use in order to become more efficient in com- municating with citizens between 18 to 29 years old. The company is owned by the munici- pality of Falun and manages community services in electricity, district heating, fresh water, sewerage, metropolitan area network and waste disposal. The following theories have been used in the study: convergence culture, digital natives, information overload, communication strategies and uses & gratifications theory. The methods used in the study are 4 focus group interviews and one informant interview. The members of the focus groups where within the age range 18-29 years and lived in the city of Falun.

En trend som kan uppfattas är att alltfler företag går mot ett relationsorienterat synsätt av marknadsföring för att knyta kunderna närmare sig.Trots företagsbloggens ökande populäritet är de många företag som väljer att inte blogga. Orsakerna menas vara rädsla för exponering.

Denna studie är en undersökning av medborgarinflytandet i den fysiska planeringen i Göteborg. Det har avgränsats till två fastighetsbyggen i stadsdelen Majorna-Linné, rumsligt placerade på Kungsladugårdsgatan samt på Amiralitetsgatan. Medborgarinflytande är utifrån Göteborgs stad en viktig del i demokratiprocessen, vilket förankras och förklaras utifrån kommunens rapport Fördjupa demokratin. I kommunens rapport, sammankopplas termen inflytande med termen dialog, vilket i sin sammankopplande begreppsförklaring medför en begreppsförvirring kring vad inflytandet medfört i den fysiska planeringen. Vad är inflytandet och vad är dialogen? Den här studien fokuserar på inflytandet i den fysiska planeringen.Tidigare forskning berörande ämnet medborgardialog och inflytande, pekar på en misstro från civilsamhället huruvida dialogen i planprocessen endast varit till för att förankra de redan befintliga planerna, eller om ansvariga haft ett ärligt uppsåt med exempelvis samrådet.

Begreppet hållbar utveckling har allt sedan Brundtlandrapporten år 1987 blivit mer och mer använtöver hela världen. Begreppet kan dock definieras på många olika sätt och uppfattas olika av olikaaktörer i samhället. Ambivalensen kring begreppet har på en internationell nivå lett till svårlöstakonflikter mellan stater. En aspekt som dock verkar mindre väl utforskad är hur medborgare pålokal nivå uppfattar begreppet hållbar utveckling och varifrån de får sina uppfattningar. Huruniversitetsstudenter uppfattar begreppet är särskilt intressant att undersöka då utbildningssystemetär ett effektivt medel för att förändra människors tankesätt i en hållbar riktning.Denna kandidatuppsats i kulturgeografi har som syfte att komparativt undersöka studentersuppfattningar av begreppet hållbar utveckling i Ryssland och Sverige samt undersöka möjligaförklaringar till varför begreppet uppfattas som det gör.

This essay examines the using of consensus method for decision making within the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the process that led to the decision to adopt its usage. The main question of my essay is why the method was introduced to the WCC and what motives lay behind its introduction. Other questions are how the consensus method works; both in theory and in practice, and what the predecessors and prototypes for the method are.The consensus method belongs to a broad Christian tradition of spiritual discernment and spiritual decision making. The New Testament, in particular Acts, gives examples of decision making in the early church which show that discerning God's will was considered essential. However the most influential model for the consensus method have been the decision making process of the Religious Society of Friends or Quakers, and also the consensus model of the Uniting Church in Australia.

A basic assumption is that increased useof digital three-dimensional environments promotes the creative processes and presentationoptions of landscape architects.The thesis is based on literature studies and communication with working landscapearchitects, and includes an investigation of the visualization methods available in the Blender3D modelling software. The thesis provides a thorough survey of what it means to model inthree dimensions, as well as of what modelling methods are feasible for a landscape architectto use. As landscape architects, we work with human and unique processes, and thus it isdifficult to develop standardized and automatic software for our profession. One possiblesolution is to turn to open source development, where software and models are shared andanyone can contribute.

There is a discrepancy between national school guidelines towards inclusive education, and the current political trend towards economic efficacy, that may be problematic for teachers. The aim of this contextual study is to formulate a contextual understanding of the participating teachers? perceptions of their effort to help all their students achieve the goals set forth by school curricula, and use this understanding for the purpose of suggesting points of entry for special needs educators´ guidance of teachers? practices towards more inclusive education.Information was gathered by sending an extensive web questionnaire to all teachers within a given headmaster´s administration, sending web questionnaires to a majority of third grade students taught by those teachers, conducting interviews with a few of the participating teachers as well as with the special needs educators, carrying out a classroom observation, and gathering additional information concerning working conditions and social interactions.The data gathered in this case study has been subjected to an analytical process comprising of an assessment of the degree of inclusive approach, using the Inclusive Approach through Participation as well as the Framework of Participation, technical triangulation of all data post the inclusive assessment, and analysis of context by the Ecology of Human Development/the Bioecological Theory.The analytical process has resulted in a contextual description that has enabled me to suggest possible points of entry to be used in special needs educators? guidance of teachers? practices towards inclusive education. The degree to which there exists a collegial sense of security, varied forms of teacher-student interactions, collegial cooperation, pedagogical discussions, a dialogue in search of mutual understanding, and consequent follow-ups appears, in the light of the limited selection of participants, as relevant to these teachers ability to help their students.Further research is needed to identify valid points of entry for special needs educators? guidance of teachers? practices towards inclusive education.

I wanted to ?access? the ideas that are always in the background of the reasoning which underlies both planning in a larger scale, and the design of a place. I wanted to make a ?work of ideas.? A church in rural Vester Egede from the earliest Christian period in Denmark e.g. the early 1100, a baptismal font is found showing a woman breastfeeding two animals. She is said to be a typical early roman Luxuria, in mild appearance. However, what makes her unique is that she appears standing on the top of her head, her womb serving as font. The main question is how come that a baptismal font like this is to be found in a church, leading to the sub question, if this font really has a Christian origin or could it be rooted in Norse, pre-Christian tradition, alternatively is the font an expression of a syncretism between the two colliding cultures.
