Today older people?s health and life quality are current topics of conversation in society. The number of old people is increasing and their health is deteriorating, that is why there is a need of new ways of meeting their necessities. In this study we have tried to illustrate heads of districts reasoning concerning pets? significance for old people in special housing.

The municipality of Falkenberg is a result of a unification of several smaller municipalities in 1971, each one with a small library. This left Falkenberg with an unusual large amount of smaller branch libraries. The object of this thesis is to describe and try to understand the political conflicts that have erupted during the period 1971-1994. Through a case study containing press clippings from the local newspaper, different reports, political meeting protocols, a historical background of the library and a study of library specific norms and regulations I can create an image of the heated debate. The participants in this debate can be divided into politicians and civil servants and the conflict circles round the fact that from an economical perspective, there is not enough budget to keep all the small, local libraries.

Informationssäkerhet innebär att skydda informationstillgångar avseende tillgänglighet, konfidentialitet, integritet och spårbarhet. För att hantera informationssäkerhet inom en verksamhet kan ett LIS (ledningssystem för informationssäkerhet) införas. MSB (Myndigheten för samhällskydd och beredskap) förvaltar ett metodstöd för att införa ett LIS och i detta metodstöd finns en gapanalys med inriktning mot informationssäkerhet. Denna gapanalys syftar till att kartlägga det nuvarande läget för informationssäkerhet inom organisationer för att jämföra detta mot den befintliga standarden ISO/IEC 27002. Problemet med denna gapanalys är att den är generiskt utformad för att passa de flesta organisationer och därför görs en undersökning för att undersöka hur denna gapanalys kan anpassas samt förbättras mot kommunal verksamhet.

Detta med utgångspunkt i lärares, specialpedagogers/elevassistent och rektorers förhållningssätt till barn i behov av särskilt stöd. I forskningsarbetet synliggörs det specialpedagogiska arbetet, men också den kunskap som finns i relation till barn i behov av särskilt stöd, rättigheter och skyldigheter mellan skola och individ. Vår studie har tre forskningsfrågor som i sin tur ligger som grund i studien och inför insamlingen av arbetsstoff. Genom kvalitativa intervjuer samlade vi kunskap om pedagogers vardagsarbete.

This thesis investigates how lobbying influences the European Union Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles (2020-2025). It asks which actors dominate, what strategies they use, and how these patterns can be explained by pluralism, corporatism, new institutionalism, and Kl?ver?s exchange logic. Using a qualitative case study with process tracing and text analysis, the study examines consultation data, official EU documents, and transparency reports. Findings show that commercial actors dominate consultations and expert groups, prioritising product-focused measures over systemic change, while transparency gaps enable informal influence.

With the end of the Cold War the number of conflicts where the United Nations have intervened has increased dramatically. This has entailed a need for a burden-sharing between the UN and regional organizations regarding management of conflicts. The aim of this study is to make a comparative analysis of the effectiveness and the efficiency in the efforts undertaken by ECOWAS and the UN during the civil war in Sierra Leone, through using theories on conflict resolution and the advantages of regional organizations in conflict resolution.My conclusion is that both ECOWAS and the UN were quite successful in managing the conflict and had an impact on the resolution of the war, although both peace operations suffered from internal problems. ECOWAS was effective in managing the conflict and in its mediating efforts as an insider from the region. The UN was more efficient in managing to attain their goals.

By exploring different forms of urban cultivation and looking into future gains of sustainability, I want to focus on unconventional and perhaps necessary ways of building, living and making a living. This will be made through study of literature on the topic.Urban cultivation could be anything from a pot of basil in the kitchen window to a city farm. The core of the concept is that the food is produced where it is eaten, in or in direct vicinity to the city and that it is produced ecologically. There will be many benefits, ecological, economical and social.The world is at a turning point right now where consumption patterns and the industry processed food are questioned and it is important that the things we consume are genuineand authentic. We want food that is locally and ecologically produced; food that we can trust.

Varje år begår mellan 40-50 ungdomar i ålder 10-19 år självmord. Sedan 1979 har det skett en minskning av antalet självmord med över 30 procent. Denna minskning har skett i alla åldersgrupper förutom i ungdomskategorin. Regeringen har gett Socialstyrelsen och Statens folkhälsoinstitut (FHI) i uppdrag att ta fram en Nationell plan för självmordprevention. Anledningen till detta är att antalet självmordsförsök och självmord börjat öka igen.

Bakgrund:Problematik kring suicid har funnits i årtusenden och suicid är ett globalt folkhälsoproblem. Enligt WHO:s statistik dör en miljon människor varje år på grund av suicid. Tidigare forskning visar att sjuksköterskan kan ha olika attityder gentemot suicidalitet och att attityden påverkar omvårdnaden av den suicidala patienten. Sjuksköterskan kommer i sitt omvårdnadsarbete komma i kontakt med suicidala patienter inom alla vårdområden och behöver därför ha en beredskap att möta människor med suicidal problematik.Syfte: Syftet är att identifiera faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans attityd vid omvårdnad av suicidala patienter.Metod:Studien är en litteraturöversikt baserad på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat:Det framkom att sjuksköterskans sinnesstämning, personliga erfarenheter, utbildning/kunskap, ålder/erfarenhet och religion påverkar sjuksköterskans attityd positivt eller negativt vid omvårdnad av suicidala patienter.Diskussion:Omvårdnaden av suicidala patienter underlättas om sjuksköterskan har en positiv, icke dömande attityd. Av de teman som framkommit i resultatet i litteraturöversikten är utbildning det som påverkar sjuksköterskans attityd i störst omfattning. Aaron Antonovskys teori KASAM har använts som teoretisk referensram då teorin bygger på känsla av sammanhang.

Med detta arbete har jag försökt skapa förståelse för vad dyslexi innebär. För att få ett brett perspektiv på arbetet har jag utgått dels ifrån olika forskningsteorier, dels ifrån intervjuer med speciallärare och dyslektiker. Jag har utgått från följande frågeställningar: Hur definierar man dyslexi? Hur yttrar sig dyslexi i praktiken? Varför har en dyslektiker svårare att läsa och skriva än andra? Hur kan man hjälpa dyslektiska elever i skolan? Vilka läs- och skrivinlärningsmetoder kan man använda sig av? Vilka hjälpmedel finns för dyslektiker? Hur arbetar Förbundet mot läs- och skrivsvårigheter, FMLS? Hur ser den aktuella dyslexiforskningen ut? Jag har funnit att dyslexi är en medfödd defekt i hjärnan, men att man kan göra mycket i skolan för att underlätta för dessa elever. De kan t ex få hjälp genom bandspelare, datorer och muntliga prov.

The purpose of this study was to examine the incentives behind Sweden?s decision to engagein the Afghanistan conflict.The method used to fulfil the purpose of the study is content analysis. The material that hasbeen used in the study is various books and articles concerning Sweden in Afghanistan,Swedish foreign policy and perspectives in political science.The study is multi-theoretical and thus the analysis explains the incentives from a liberal, arealist and a constructivist point of view.The conclusion of the study is that identity has a great part in explaining the incentives forSweden to engage in Afghanistan, especially because of the transformation in strategy andforeign policy that has taken place since the end of the cold war. Other factors, such as peacebuilding and national interests also are incentives supported by the material used in the study.Yet, perhaps they are first and foremost connected by the constructivist idea of identity..

This study examines the link between the individual and social network, what social forces and social mechanisms involved in the interaction between individuals and groups and how we can explain and consider this relationship with the aim of understanding this connection. Through qualitative interviews, based on interviews of six active members in the organization Young KRIS (Young Criminal?s Return in the Society) examines the active social processes that the young members undergo, and motivates those who have been outside the expected conformed and regular society, to be included in the regular community and how this can be explained. The study shows that the organization through high availability, openness, knowledge of the needs of young people, good treatment, range of meaningful activities, has created a great venue for the young to develop and thus regain their place in the society..

The swedish law of contract is fundamental within several civil law areas, among others labour law. The labour law contains more explicit legislation specificly adapted to the relation between employers and employees. Sometimes the labour law needs to rely on more general regulations, such as the law of contract. When the situation contains a specific contract relation dilemma it is logical to use the law of contract, when for example the law of employee protection does not reach an acceptabel solution.Transfer of undertaking is a situation were the employee protection is disregarded. The Euro directive 2001/23/EG prescribes, by its implemented rules in the law of employee protection, that rights and duties, such as employement agreements, passes on to the earner of the business.
