Abstract  This paper examines the Copenhagen Climate Conference held in the Bella Center in Copenhagen, December 2009. The aim of this paper was to analyse the highly anticipated conference, and why it did not result in a binding protocol between the world?s states. The focus of this paper was to examine two key actors in the Copenhagen negotiations: the people?s republic of China and the European Union.

Detta examensarbete är en studie kring hur säkerhetsaspekter för web services hanteras inom fastighetsautomationsbranschen utifrån W3C:s riktlinjer. W3C är en organisation som godkänner och administerar nya Internetstandarder. Dessa riktlinjer omfattar säkerhet inom web services, men kan även fungera som en mall för både utveckling och användning. Dessa riktlinjer låg till grund för de intervjufrågor som skapades för undersökningen. Undersökningen genomfördes på sex organisationer med en intervjustudie, på grund av arbetets begränsningar användes telefonintervjuer.Studien syftar till att ge en närmare inblick i säkerhetstänkandet samt de för- och nackdelar som kan associeras till web services, samt utvecklingen av tekniken inom fastighetsautomationsbranschen.Studien visar att synen på säkerheten och tillämpningarna skilde sig mellan organisationerna och att riktlinjerna inte direkt kunde uppfyllas.

Event is something that an increasing number of Swedish cities are investing in since it contributes to higher attractiveness of cities and generate economic revenues. New arenas are built around Sweden to meet the increasing demands to host such events. Event projects are carried out in Sweden and it is important that the planning phase is carried out thoroughly to get a successful project. This thesis aims to look more closely at selected organizations and how they plan their projects and whether it is possible to follow project plans in the event projects. Karlstad has many events that recur annually, including the Swedish Rally.

Interaction is an important part of children?s development. The school is a main arena in which children learn to interact, mainly through their playing. This study aims at investigating the role of interaction in a leisure school didactic setting. The aim of the study is to gain a better understanding for how the pupils develop though use of social interaction.

This thesis is about the public library of Ulricehamn and the cultural activities at the library during the period from 1960 to 1998. We have focused on the study of the cultural activities. It begins with the foundation of the library of Ulricehamn and a historical background to it. It follows with the definitions of the public library and a historical background to the public library in Sweden. Then we present the goal of the public library in general and the goal of Ulricehamn's city library.

This study aims to examine the effect management control systems have on which goals health centers prioritize. The management control systems of one privately owned and one publicly owned health center have been studied through a qualitative case study. Robert Simons (1995) framework with four levers of control (diagnostic control systems, interactive control systems, belief systems and boundary systems) has been used to structure the study. For both health centers we found a conflict of interest mainly between the diagnostic control system and the beliefs system, where the diagnostic control system is biased towards quantitative goals and the beliefs system is mainly biased towards qualitative goals. However, despite the unbalanced levers of control the studied health centers have been able to reach a well functioning compromise between quantitative and qualitative goals..

The aim of this study has been to describe the ongoing region enlargement process in the region Mälardalen, located in the east part of Sweden, and to investigate how this process can affect the local level. The study is especially orientated on public communications and accessibility. The intention has also been to examine how the local accessibility can affect the re-gional development in Mälardalen. The local investigation object that has been chosen for this research is the city Strängnäs, situated in the province of Södermanland. The city of Strängnäs and the cities in it?s near geographic surroundings has been the benchmark for this casestudy, in which the local accessibility with public transportation has been investigated.

In this study a multiple linear regression was carried out in the interest of analysing a number of variables effect on the final prices of apartments in Stockholm?s inner districts. The result may be employed to predict and observe percentage changes on the final price of apartments in Stockholm in the future. Five models were constructed after which they were analysed and compared. The construction of these models were supported by data from the real estate agency Erik Olsson.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att göra en förstudie av marknaden inför en eventuell lansering av en guide för föräldrar med barnvagn i Stockholms innerstad. Vår uppdragsgivare, Prampushers, är ett Hongkongbaserat företag som vill få en indikation på huruvida Stockholm utgör en framtida marknad. Till vår hjälp har vi bland annat gjort en marknadsundersökning där vi har intervjuat föräldrar med småbarn för att få en bättre insikt inför lanseringen. Undersökning: Undersökning av de tjugo största svenska bolagen (sett till börsvärde) på Large cap.Nyckelord: Goodwill, nedskrivningstest, antaganden.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur de största svenska bolagen på Large cap organiserar sina nedskrivningstester och vilka effekter de nya goodwillreglerna har på resultatet och utdelningarna.Metod: Vi har genomfört intervjuer via e-mail med representanter från de största svenska bolagen. Sedan har vi analyserat svaren med den teoretiska referensramen som grund.Slutsatser: Sex av sju företag organiserar sina nedskrivningstester internt efter en, för varje företag, specifik mall. Antagandena som görs i samband med nedskrivningstesterna ger upphov till olika mallar i respektive företag vilket försvårar jämförbarheten företagen emellan. Nästan alla företag identifierar en positiv resultateffekt av de nya reglerna men eftersom inga nedskrivningar har genomförts så är det oklart om den positiva resultateffekten erhålls i ett längre perspektiv. Inget av företagen identifierar några utdelningseffekter av de nya redovisningsreglerna..

Today significant resources are provided to improve the digital work environment within the Swedish healthcare to create efficiency, good work environment and patient safety. Despite this, major flaws are shown by the lack of communication between the eHealthcare systems. This becomes a stress factor among healthcare professionals because of increased administration and decreased physical contact with patients. The purpose of this study is to create a understanding of the concept of interoperability at different levels in the eHealthcare systems. This has been conducted through a qualitative interview study at a healthcare center where the respondents have been describing their digital work environment and the way it works today.

A budget consists of figures showing how much a particular activity has access to during a given year. With a balanced scorecard, these figures and guidelines can be converted in to more easily understandable non-financial instructions for the employees. One of the most significant differences between the budget and the scorecard is that the budget focuses on short-term results while the scorecard focuses on long-term visions and goals. With a long-term thinking the leaders can  set more long-term goals and also make more well-planned investments which increases the possibility for the organization to evolve and become better in the long term. Jeanine Basingers bok The World War II Combat Film presenterar en annars väldigt oupmärksammad genre, den amerikanska Andra Världskrigs-stridsfilmen. Utifrån den mall som Basinger beskriver i boken har jag här diskuterat och analyserat hur Saving Private Ryan håller sig till mallen som skapats av tidigare stridsfilmer. Mallen består i korthet av en mängd element som används genomgående i genren; såsom gruppen, hjälten, målet och fienden. Dessa element förekommer från den första andra världskrigs-stridsfilmen Bataan från 1943 och har konsoliderats och utvecklats sedan dess. Slutsatsen blir att även om SPR blivit känd som en nydanande och orginell film så är håller den sig nästan slaviskt till mallen, det enda som möjligt kan skilja den lite från andra filmer i genren är det ursprungliga målet, det är inte vanligt att ha ett såpass politiskt inkorrekt mål som att rädda en enda man..

This report is about how accessibility in Eskilstuna's central trade street Kungsgatan can be improved, based on my background as spatial configuration designer, and by Eskilstuna's residents' opinions. In this report I explain what methods I have used, and how I attained my results. The goal of this project was to create ideal accessibility in the central part of Kungsgatan in Eskilstuna. Since Fristadstorget was rebuilt, and since the city is growing in terms of housing and residents, accessibility will in the near future be even more limited for visitors than it is today.
