The purpose of this study is to examine the change in consumer behaviour regarding the intention towards buying fruit when the layout of the fruit section has been altered. We want to increase the probability of making impulse purchases by altering the layout. In our study we have combined structured quantitative observations with structured quantitative as well as qualitative interviews, with secondary data in the form of sales data from two selected ICA-stores. We chose to use this triangulated approach in order to cross-examine our findings and overcome the limitations of one method by the use of another. Further, the Latin square design was used for the observations as a means to acknowledge the calendar effect during the experiment.

Denna rapport är ett kandidatarbete skrivet inom ramen för Landskapsingenjörsprogrammet vid Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet (SLU) i Alnarp. Uppsatsen är skriven på C-nivå, och motsvarar 15 hög-skolepoäng, på ämnet Landskapsplanering. Denna rapport tar upp och behandlar det annalkande hotet av de två asiatiska långhorningarna, Anoplophora glabripennis och Anoplophora chinensis, som riskerar att etableras på våra breddgra-der. Där syftet med detta arbete är att studera hur artdiversiteten tar ut sin rätt ifall de asiatiska långhornigarna skulle ge sig på de arter som finns i våra städer. Vad som kan och även kommer hän-da ifall de två etablerar sig på våra urbana träd, samt vilka träd som klarar sig och vilka som har en ökad risk att drabbas av skadedjur kommer att besvaras i denna rapport. Detta för att ge en bättre förståelse för de problem som väntar i framtiden, och för att undvika en ny epidemi som utplånar stora delar av våra urbana träd likt "almsjukan". Rapporten bygger på material insamlat från över 30 vetenskapliga artiklar och databaser.
