Bakgrund: Delirium är ett sjukdomssyndrom som yttrar sig genom desorientering, problem med minne, perception och akut beteendeförändring. Delirium är en organisk psykisk störning och är ett övergående tillstånd som ofta drabbar äldre med en komorbiditet. Den äldre befolkningen i Sverige beräknas att öka kraftigt och eftersom att risken för delirium väntas öka med åldern finns en risk att andelen med delirium inom sjukhusvården kommer att öka. Orsaker för att utveckla delirium är multifaktoriella, några föreslagna är demenssjukdom, polyfarmaci, infektion, elektrolytiska rubbningar, hjärt- och kärlsjukdom, akut sjukdom eller trauma och miljömässiga faktorer. Syfte: Att beskriva sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att vårda äldre patienter med delirium inom sjukhusvården.

The study has shown that retailers in the mid-price segment differentiate their brand through developing a strong company identity around the brand. The personality involves store atmosphere, merchandise and advertising. Larger companies have chosen to lay the responsibility on management level, which facilitates on store level. By controlling the strategies on a central level the company can make sure that the stores are steered in the direction that the company wants them to be steered in, and also that they follow the positioning-concept. The company can also devote its efforts to working with its core value, which is service.

Sweden?s District councils and Country councils are in itself to a large extent responsible for the state financed welfare. Because of this, Sweden has a contribution- and adjustment system. In this thesis, a transparent model of the human head has been constructed which was filled with a substance that represented the brain. This model was later crash tested. This was done in order to examine how a transparent model of the human head can be constructed to generate accurate data from crash tests. It was also done in order to examine how impacts on the front of the head can deform the rear of the brain. When a head is decelerating, the brain moves forward inside the skull and may hit the front of the skull.

Den här studien fokuserar på vad det är för brytpunkter som påverkat att idrottarna valt att avsluta sin elitsatsning. För att få en djupare förståelse har även fokus legat på vad som var meningsskapande både under och efter elitsatsningen. Syftet var att belysa före detta elitjuniorers upplevelser kring deras övergång från elitjunior till ett liv utanför en elitsatsning inom friidrott. Den teoretiska referensramen utgick från teorin om en Känsla av sammanhang samt Careershipteorin.

The use of mindfulness in healthcare is increasing in Sweden. A so-called secular form of mindfulness is also increasing within mediated contemporary psychology and is used in many areas such as schools, workplaces and when giving birth. The method originates from Buddhism and is much more complex than the form of mindfulness marketed in Sweden today. The religious heritage of mindfulness is interesting to study in such a secular society as Sweden, where the material for this study is found. The aim of this study is therefore to investigate whether mindfulness still is a form of religious coping or if it has become completely secularized, and thus free of its religious origin.

It has also started to become more and more ordinary to assure these sustainability reports by an external part. However, the amount of assured sustainability reports differs a lot between different countries.There can be several reasons for why the companies chose to get the sustainability report assured. Previous studies state that the choice to produce sustainability reports can be re-lated to theories like the legitimacy theory, stakeholder theory and the agent theory. Other aspects that can affect the decision to construct a sustainability report can according to prior studies be different company characteristics and the national culture in the country in which the company is operating.

Ever since Thomas More?s book Utopia was published in 1516, theutopian idea has not lost its topicality and has been strongly rootedin literature, art, film and architecture. Utopia can be seen as a statein which utopia allows a space for wishes, dreams and a desire forsomething better. In my degree project I have chosen to explore thehistorical utopian ideas to create a content that treats utopia on asubjective level. With visual communication as a starting point I havetried to fixate this state in a book.

Purpose: The purpose with this study is to see what the small limited companiesprefer of the alternatives to the statutory audit that has been created inthe others EU-countries. These alternatives can be current in Sweden tomaintain the credibility.Method: Quantitative procedure.Conclusions: By the result to judge from the small limited companies prefer the alternativeto the statutory audit where they do not need to hire further helpto complete the audit. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva orsaker till sjuksköterskans trötthet.Metoden var en litteraturstudie med deskriptiv design. Data samlades in via databaserna Discovery och Medline/Pubmed och 17 artiklar inkluderades i resultatet.Resultatet visade att följande kan orsaka sjuksköterskans trötthet.?Känslomässig/empatisk utmattning?, ?arbetsrelaterad stress och hög arbetsbelastning? samt ?skiftarbete och sömnbrist?. Känslomässig/empatisk utmattning kan uppstå i omhändertagande av patient som till exempel när den vårdande inte kan hjälpa en person undgå skada. Stora dramatiska händelser samt mer dagliga situationer kan indirekt utsätta sjuksköterskan för upplevelse av trauma.

This thesis investigates the reception of middle literature novels among critics in Swedish newspapers and at Swedish libraries. Works by three authors were chosen as representatives for middle literature: Helen Fielding, Nick Hornby and Tony Parsons. The investigation is based on interviews with librarians at the Gothenburg City Library, the total purchased number of books at public libraries in Sweden and analysis of Swedish newspaper reviews. The result is compared with theories by literary sociologists as Jofrid Karner Smidt, Janice Radway, Erland Munch-Petersen and Staffan Bergsten among others. It was found out that literary scientists and critics had a different way of looking at middle literature.
