What level of support do insurance companies offer policyholders in order to supply them with enough knowledge to make an informed decision? Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad som påverkar valet av fritidsaktiviteter hos personer som haft stroke och på vilket sätt fritidsaktiviteterna har förändrats. För att uppnå syftet valdes kvalitativa intervjuer som metod. Intervjuerna var semistrukturerade och utgick från en egengjord intervjuguide. Resultatet visade att utmaningen, gemenskapen, fysisk träning, självständighet, balans i vardagen, livssynen och rehabiliteringsteamet var faktorer som påverkade deltagarnas utförande av fritidsaktiviteter. Att anpassa fritidsaktiviteten eller att få personligt stöd var vanligare än att anpassa den fysiska miljön..

Sveriges har under flera år haft en hög ungdomsarbetslöshet och jämfört med andra länder i Europa ligger den på en högre nivå än genomsnittet. Enligt Statistiska Centralbyrån (SCB) beräknas arbetslösheten bland svenska ungdomar ligga på 26,4 procent vilket är högre än vad den var under samma period förra året. Det finns många skilda meningar kring varför ungdomar har svårt att komma in på arbetsmarknaden och trots de ekonomiska åtgärder som riksdagen genomfört så fortsätter ungdomsarbetslösheten att stiga.Syftet med studien var att söka djupare förståelse för vad som påverkar rekryterare att anställa eller inte anställa ungdomar. Vilka kvalifikationer och personliga egenskaper söker rekryterare och efterfrågas ekonomiska åtgärder eller vad tror de skulle underlätta ungdomars inträde på arbetsmarknaden? För att ta reda på detta genomfördes semi-strukturerade intervjuer med två rekryterare från tre olika branscher, hotell- och restaurangbranschen, IT- och telekombranschen och vård- och omsorgsbranschen.

Vårt syfte med arbetet var att undersöka om läsning av skönlitteratur kan väcka en medvetenhet om och motverka mobbning. Vi valde att göra denna undersökning eftersom vi anser att skönlitteraturen är en outnyttjad resurs inom skolans undervisning och borde få en mer framträdande roll i undervisningen. Arbetet förankrades i skollagen, Läroplan för det obligatoriska skolväsendet, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet (Lpo 94), kursplanen för grundskolan i svenska och tidigare forskning. Undersökningen genomfördes i två klasser bestående av totalt 37 elever i år 4. Den metod vi använde oss av vid undersökningen var intervjuer.

Although changes have been made over time regarding contracting formswithin the road administration, the railway sector has not improved or justified changesregarding choice of contracting, they have conducted same contracting relationshipsbetween them and the contractor.This bachelor thesis, conducted at the Swedish railway administration with supervision ofprofessor Kristian Widén at Lunds University, explores the forces behind the new era ofcontracting within the railway administration. This bachelor thesis focuses mainly oncontracting regarding design-build-operate-main (DBOM), the new contracting formulabetween the owner and the contractor.

Today the individual ventilated cage system (IVC-system) is the most commonly used system when housing rodents. IVC systems are designed to control both supply and exhausted air at cage level, as well as temperature and relative humidity in the cages. This creates an optimal environment for the mouse and at the same time a protection against the risk of cross-infection between cages and the outside environment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the health and welfare for two different strains of laboratory mice (NMRI nude mice and C57BL/6NCrl mice) in three different kinds of IVC-systems; Arrowmight, Allentown and Tecniplast. 108 mouse pups from each strain (in total 216 mice) were selected after weaning at an age of three weeks and tested during 5 weeks.

AbstractBackground: Plantar fasciitis is the most common heel injury and is a long-term pain syndrom in the attachment of the plantar fascia to the calcaneus bone. The condition is treated mainly in primary care, but there is currently no treatment guideline for the treatment of plantar fasciitis in Sweden. The purpose of this study was to investigate which treatment that occurred in primary care in Dalarna, Gävleborg and Västmanland counties, which treatments that were most common alone and in combination with each other. The aim was also to investigate if the four most commonly used treatment methods as physical therapists said they had used were supported in the literature, and if there was any difference between county employees and private physical therapists in the choice of treatment method.Method: 100 physiotherapists in primary care in Dalarna, Gävleborg and Västmanland counties, received a questionnaire by mail. 80 of the 100 physiotherapists were county employees and 20 were private employees.

This paper deals with the question: "Why does the U.S. aid project to cambat HIV/AIDS in Africa, called PEPFAR, use a strategy that has been shown to be couterproductive?" The author uses an anthropological approach, based on theory of "aid as a gift" inspired by work of Mauss and Stirrat& Henkel. The study demonstrates that the interests that lie behind PEPFAR have had a greater influence on the choice of strategy than the declared goals.
