In the increasing urban environments and the modern societies demands for sustainability there is a challange in planning cities with a balance between density and a satisfying access of recreational environments. For attractive cities these environments need to be designed to fit every inhabitants? demands and opinions in some way. Increased knowledge and understanding is therefore needed about how different design styles in landscape architecture affect people and the cities. In this bachelor thesis benefits and disadvantages as well as the experience and impact of two fundamental design styles i discussed; naturalistic and formal/abstract design.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats har varit att behandla Schengen- och Dublinkonventionens bestämmelser om flyktingar och asyl och utifrån detta försökt att redogöra för en asylsökandes möjligheter till asyl och dennes rättsliga ställning i de fördragsslutande staterna. Jag har även behandlat vissa internationella instrument då de ligger till grund för dessa konventioner. Utifrån konventionstext, praxis från medlemsstaterna och annan skrift som är aktuell för ämnet har jag kommit fram till att konventionerna i sig inte innebär någon direkt försämring av den asylsökandes möjlighet att söka och erhålla asyl. Problemet är emellertid att bestämmelserna är alldeles för odefinierade och lösa och öppnade för EU-ländernas egna tolkningar vilket medför att den sökande inte erbjuds den rättssäkerhet som eftersträvas. .

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på om och i vilken grad elever, och lärare i ensemble och musikteori, upplever att eleverna integrerar musikteori och ensemble samt ifall bakgrund i musik- eller kulturskola påverkade integrationen. Jag använde mig av en kvantitativ undersökningsmetod, det vill säga enkätundersökning i mitt datainsamlande. Fyra skolor i olika storlek och olika delar av Sverige deltog i undersökning som genomfördes med ett ?emic? insider- och ?epic? outsiderperspektiv, det vill säga elev- och lärarperspektiv.I min bakgrund visar jag att musiklära kurs A enligt kursplanen ska ligga till grund för det egna musicerandet. Ensemblekursen har främst för avsikt att ge grundläggande färdigheter relaterade till sång eller instrument, men påvisar koppling i B-kursen.

The purpose of this essay was to identify the primary stakeholder in aid organisations, by which we mean whom they make their annual report for, and to analyse if there were any differences considering the design of their annual reports depending on which their primary stakeholder is. The method we used to explain the choice of primary stakeholder and the differences in the annual reports was a multiple case study. The collected data came from telephone interviews with 23 representatives from aid organisations and a review of annual reports. The results were analysed through pattern matching. We found that aid organisations do not have a primary stakeholder as in incorporated organisations.

SAMMANFATTNINGUnder 2006 påbörjades arbetet med att nationellt höja kvaliteten på praktiskt socialt arbete. Socialstyrelsen gav då ut nya råd och riktlinjer för hur socialtjänsten kan stärka och utveckla sitt behandlingsarbete. Utifrån detta blir det allt vanligare att mer strukturerade manualer och behandlingsinstrument införs i arbetet. Ett sådant instrument är Youth Outcome Questionnaire, som under hösten 2007 implementeras i en kommunal behandlingsverksamhet i Örebro. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hindrande och möjliggörande faktorer som omgärdar implementeringen av ett behandlingsinstrument i en behandlingsverksamhet för ungdomar på institution.

Delia flies (Diptera: Anthomyiidae) are economically important pests in several horticultural crops. The control is commonly relying on chemical insecticides, though there are possibilities with biological control from the natural enemies in the field. An important natural enemy is the parasitic wasp, Trybliographa rapae Westwood (Hymenoptera: Figitidae) that lays eggs in the Delia fly larvae. The parasitoid larva and the host larva have a parallel development until the host dies within its puparium and an adult parasitoid emerges. The aim of this thesis was to understand the attraction to host- and food-associated plant volatiles of T. rapae, in order to enhance the effectiveness of the parasitic wasp as a biological control agent.

AbstractMany pupils struggleto read. Teachers must therefore know how to motivate these pupils. In this qualitative study the aim is to investigate what some teachers do to motivate pupils to read. Data were collected through interviews with four teachers from two schools. The teachers said that the choice of book was extremely important for making pupils interested in reading, and that reading aloud and cooperation with parents and libraries are of great importance.

Since the late 50th century, the automobile has been normative in the Swedish society (Lundin 2008). This has led to an urban environment deeply characterized by the motor vehicle and its necessities, while other means of transportation, such as train and bicycle, have been ignored and put aside. However, over the past decades, a new trend has been seen in urban planning as a consequence of the increasing knowledge of the negative qualities caused by the car. As a result, the bicycle is seen as a conceivable transport mode.This thesis examines cycling on four issues:- Why is there a need of more cyclists? - How can the total number of cyclists as well as the number of satisfied cyclists increase? - Which factors affect the choice of transport mode? - Which factors affect the choice of route?The first two questions are discussed from a literature study that was conducted at the beginning of the thesis.

The aim of this thesis is that through a case study, analyze and evaluate whether the customer is high - or low involved and connect with the choice of marketing strategy using a celebrity.This thesis is about how a celebrity can be used in marketing to affect a company's customers. The essay is facing the fashion retail industry, where three companies, Lindex, H&M and MQ, has been studied and compared. Lindex is using celebritiy Emma Wiklund by an internal collaboration within the enterprise. MQ is using various celebrities in various campaigns throughout the year and use them in external advertising campaigns. H&M is using interactive marketing with different celebrities in the form of, for example, guest collections for the company.

Syftet med studien är att klargöra om nyckelhålsmärkningen har betydelse för konsumentens uppfattning och val av produkt, samt belysa förekomsten av källkritiskt tänkande kring nyckelhålsmärkningen. Som metod tillämpades intervjuer på 50 respondenter. Studien indikerar att nyckelhålsmärkningen har en inverkan på både val av produkt samt den generella uppfattningen om hur hälsosam en produkt är. Studien visar även på en slående avsaknad av källkritik då konsumenter utvärderar nyckelhålsprodukter..

The idea for the project emerged when Nilorn wanted to get better control over their supplychain and improve operational efficiency. The company also want to reduce their expenses inthe continuous process of improving profitability. By choosing the right option oftransportation and mode of transport there are large potential savings for the company. Thisenables Nilorn to reduce the transportation costs and strengthen the environmentalresponsibilities by reducing their environmental impact.The flow of goods within Nilorn has over the past years increased significantly and most ofthe gods today is transported by air. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the supply chain of thecompany and evaluate the potential economic savings in this area.

Detta är ett konstnärligt arbete i vilket jag fokuserar på min tekniska utveckling på mitt instrument, marimba. Mitt syfte är att undersöka nyttan med att komponera en egen etyd, baserad på tekniska problem jag har stött på i den repertoar jag för tillfället spelar. Mina frågeställningar är: Kan man snabbare övervinna sina tekniska begränsningar genom att bryta ut dem ur den repertoar man spelar och skriva övningar som behandlar problemet ur ett annat perspektiv? Blir jag mer effektiv i min tekniska progression om jag själv är tvungen att identifiera mina tekniska begränsningar? Resultatet blev en etyd som har visat sig vara väldigt användbar för att övervinna de tekniska problemen jag valde att infoga i min etyd..

En story till ett spel har skrivits vars syfte är att skapa moraliska och etiska situationer som spelaren omedvetet skall ta ställning till med hjälp utav val som görs i spelet.Storyn är en Film-Noirliknande berättelse som tagit inspiration från filmer av Film-Noir genren och datorspel som har olinjäritet i sin berättarform.Arbetsprocessen för hur skapandet av storyn beskrivs i detalj där de olika delarna av skapandeprocessen förklaras och motiveras.Uppsatsen avslutas med en resultatbeskrivning av vad som gjorts. The education program System design at the University of Kalmar has since it?s beginning been missing a near by studio for it?s students studying towards audio and music. In the choice of examination project I would take upon this task, which was long wanted for the teachers and students at the university?s Musikhuset.Musikhuset became the buyer of the project, and the studio was to be installed at their premises. Unfortunately, the project got jammed by the university?s financial savings calculations, and was due to this delayed in the end for 11 weeks.
