Förskolans matematik : De yngsta förskolebarnens matematiserande i den fria leken

This study aims to visualize the youngest preschool Children matematical learning in the free game. In my study the mathematics will be analyzed  based on the interactions Children participate in, and how Children experience mathematics through the lived body.I have chosen to undertake a qualitative research in form of observations. Through this research method, I would approach the child's perspective, which means that i analyze the material that the Children in the observations reveals to me as a researcher.The results of the study show that Children experience mathematics skills both through the lived body, as well as in interaction situations between Children. The mathematics are around among us, all the time. This is very important to take into account for Children's continued development of mathematical knowledge..

Barns sociala samspel vid användning av digitalteknik i förskolan

The use of digital technology in preschool has been a question aboutif it will be used. By the new curriculum for preschool, it now is a question about how it will be used. My experience shows that many pedagogues are still afraid that the Children will miss the interaction whit other Children when they are using digital technology.The aim of the study is to see if it is social for the Children to use digital technology in preschool.This study is made by inquiry, qualitative interviews and observations.My result shows that Children are social active with each other while using digital technology. Turn taking and time determines who will play and what the conditions are. The thesis concludes that Children perform social interaction when using digital technology.

This master?s thesis deals with the issue of Children?s theatre at the public library. I want to examine what purpose Children?s theatre play for the Children according to the Children?s librarians, what different factors that may influence the purchase of plays to the public library and what the Children?s librarians think of the Children?s theatre at the public library at present and in the future. Interviews have been conducted with four Children?s librarians, at different libraries, who are somehow involved in the purchase of Children?s plays to the library.

Kamratkulturer på förskolan. : En observationsstudie kring 1-3 åringars lek i förskolans vardag

The purpose with this study was to find out about the preschool toddler?s peer-cultures. I also wanted to understand how these peer-cultures were shown.My questions are as following:What is it that the Children interpretive and reproduce in their play?How do Children gain access to play?How do Children exclude each other?What position of status can be seen in Children´s play?I used observations as the method to find the answer to these questions. These observations where implemented during five occasions at two different preschools.

The starting point for the present study is that the physical environment can enhance the learning processes of Children. We want to contribute to more focus being placed on this within library and information sciences. Our main aim is to illustrate how the physical environment can facilitate the learning of Children. In order to achieve our aim, we examine a concrete physical environment, namely the Children?s department at the main library in Kungsbacka.

AbstractIn this essay, I have performed a study on peer cultures and how these peer cultures are expressed in a group of pre-school Children. My questions are as following:What positions/power positions can be seen in Children?s play, and how will these be expressed?How do the Children gain access to play?How do Children act when they want to exclude other Children?In order to understand this I have chosen to do observations as a method. In order to investigate these questions I chose to spend six whole mornings with a group of pre-school Children, closely observing their behavior. The focus was on Children, three years of age or older.

In my study I have chosen to examine the mathematics in Children's free play and everyday situations, with focus on sorting and classification. The purpose of the study was to see how Children express their mathematical knowledge. I have chosen to use a qualitative method in my examination, here I did observations in a Children's group where the Children were between three and six years old. I also did interviews with the teacher's on the department to see how they relate to the mathematics and how they formulate the department to achieve as good a learning environment as possible.The result shows that the teacher's approach is incredible important to the Children's learning ability and that they are always present to challenge and discuss together with the Children. The observation indicates that Children use mathematics all the time in their everyday situations and that it is the interaction between individuals and environment that affects Children's development. .

Barns utevistelse på förskolan : Utemiljöns inverkan på barns lekar och naturintresse

Through interviews with Children of ages 4-5 years old and by observing Children Children at play at three preschools with different types of outdoor surroundings, I have investigated if the preschools outdoor surroundings have any influences on the Children´ choice of play. The hypothesis was that natural surroundings can entice Children´s interest in nature being in it and play. I have also investigated if the Children know why it is important to be outdoors and if they know it has a positive influence on their health.The result of my investigation is that the Children play about the same games at the three different preschool gardens, but at the preschool with more natural surroundings, the Children have more contact with plants and animals, and could learn of the different phenomena of nature by the preschool teacher answering their questions. Most of the Children in the interviews know it´s useful to be outdoors and be on the move and get fresh air, but many of them thought it was most important to play. By being outdoors the Children get exercise, fresh air, play and at the same time they establish an understanding of the nature and a healthier life..

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate the factors of Children?s voluntarily reading in their spare time. We also want to know if the Children choose non-fiction books for their voluntarily reading. The method as well as the empirical basis of this study is qualitative, with interviews of twenty-eight Children in ages between 9 and 12 years. We conducted nine interviews with 3?4 Children in each group.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate what preschool teachers now about Children in crisis and and how to manage crisis. It´s also about what Children in preschool understand about death. Literature studies have been made to get a better idea about what to do when you are in the middle of a crisis situation and to find out how Children reacts when they are in grief. Four preschool teachers have been interviewed from two different preschools and three Children at the same preschool. The interviews show theire knowledge about preschool Children in crisis and how to deal whit the crisis.

The work is based on a qualitative study using a survey, where the educators can tell how they work within the play. I chose to use five different participants in my essay. All of them work in the same preschool, south of Stockholm.In this essay I have two questions. These two are:What do the educators tell about the importance of play for Children's interaction?How do the educators tell how they work with the play to develop the Children?s social interaction?Previous research shows that play gives the Children opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically.

This paper aims to examine how Children who have experienced violence against their mother experience their school and if the school somehow can compensate for the vulnerable situation of the Children?s home situation. The data is an already collected material there interviews with abused Children are done. The results presented consist of the previous research in the area where the empirical material analyzed from the developing ecological theory and based on Children's different abilities to master life and then give an voice to the collected research. The results showed that if the violence in the family does not affect the child's sleep or the parents do not prioritize enough for the child to get the sleep he/she needs and that the child is not serious difficulty concentrating, it seems that Children can use school to learn and enjoy this learning.

The purpose of this study is to explore the relations between foster parents and their foster Children, what kind of motivation there is behind their involvement in foster Children, how they experience the commission and what good parenting mean to them. The study is including eight foster parents. They have experience of both long and short placement of foster Children. The results show that all these foster families have at least one child that they have a good relationship with. It is important to know that those Children either have spent many years in foster families or arrived to foster families when they were very young or as infants.

Matematik i förskola : En studie av lek i undervisning

The purpose of my study is to examine how four preschool teachers go about using the term play in Children's early mathematical development. In order to fulfill the purpose of this study, I have the following questions:How the preschool teachers visualize mathematics in Children?s play?What reflections have the preschool teachers about the importance of play for Children's mathematical learning in preschool?How do the preschool teachers see on their own role in the Children's play?In this study, I have conducted a semi-structured qualitative interviews based on the interviews with four preschool teachers from various departments in a preschool. I have also conducted some observations to complete my study. Whereas in my analysis of the researched material, I have used Vygotsky's theory.The survey shows that the preschool teachers are aware of the use of mathematical language and concepts in Children?s different activities which were conducted daily in the preschool.
