AbstractThe purpose of this paper was to examine preschool teacher?s thoughts about using Manual Signs as Alternative and Augmentative Communication as an aid for Children in/with communication disabilities. The method I?ve used in the survey is qualitative interview.The three interviewed preschool teachers use Manual Signs foremost for those Children who have a poorly developed spoken language. Manual Signs are used as a complement to the spoken language and the preschool teachers use it to increase the Children?s power of concentration.

This study investigates, through parental evaluations, communicativeand adaptive abilities within a group of Children with various developmentaldisorders, after the parents had participated in AKKTIV (Augmentative andAlternative Communication ? Early Intervention) parental education. The studyalso investigates through case studies how parents experience the influence ofAKKTIV-intervention in their Children?s development a few years aftercompletion. The parents estimated their Children?s abilities using three differentquestionnaires; the Swedish Communicative Developmental Inventories(SECDI), Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales-II (VABS-II) and parts of theform? Parents? perception of the interaction with their Child?, before and afterthe intervention.

The purpose of the paper is to examine how teachers in preschool is working with language stimulation for the prevention of difficulties in reading and writing before school starts. The method that was used to illuminate the problem is a qualitative interview. A specialpedagog and six preschool teacher, which is specifically focused on language stimulation in the work with Children, have been included in the study. The results indicated that preschool teacher are working a lot with language stimulation. They work mostly with Children throughout the group, to encourage and provide Children with the tools to be able to communicate with each other and staff.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur barnkonventionens artikel 12, barns rätt att komma till tals tillämpas i familjebehandling genom att göra en pilotstudie. Familjebehandlare inom kommunens öppenvård fick svara på hur de gjorde barn delaktiga, på vilket sätt barn kom till tals och ifall det fanns tillfällen när barn inte skulle delta i familjebehandlingen. För att få svar på dessa frågor gjordes en semistrukturerad telefonintervju. Den valda teorin var systemteori.  Studien innefattade även familjebehandling, barnkonventionen och BBIC.

In 1975 the Indian president Indira Gandhi proclaimed the emergency period which would go on until 1977. Under this time approximately 8 million men and women were sterilized in the name of family planning. Many of them did not volunteer. This was not just an Indian con- cern because the family planning program was largely funded by international aid. The Swe- dish involvement in the program was debated 1977?1980, in what has been called ?SIDA?s Watergate?.

Sverige har en lagstadgad anmälningsplikt som är obligatorisk för alla som i sitt arbete kommer i kontakt med barn. Lagen är tydlig med att alla misstänka missförhållanden skall anmälas. Forskning visar att anmälningsplikten inte alltid fungerar och att det bara är en liten del av de barn som riskerar att fara illa som kommer till socialtjänstens kännedom. Vidare forskning visar att få anmälningar kommer från hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet var att beskriva sjuksköterskans erfarenheter i mötet med barn som far illa eller riskerar att fara illa.

The aim of this study is to examine how one can understand the experiences that social workers within the social service's have of Children who have committed sexual assault against other Children, and the social workers? thoughts about the choice of actions and the family involvement in those actions. The study has a qualitative character. Information was obtained through interviews with social workers within two Swedish counties, and the analysis of the results was based on earlier research findings as well as theoretical aspects, such as systemic theory and salutogenesis.Regarding the actions taken for the target group, the social workers have, in many ways, a systemic perspective as they emphasize elements within the Child as well as within the family. It is also shown that the collaboration with other authorities affects the choice of actions, and that it is important to involve the entire family in any interventions, so that the effect of those interventions may last over time.

Det har gjorts många studier kring barns språkproduktion medan kunskaperna om hur och när förståelsen utvecklas är mindre. Forskare är eniga om att förståelsen i stort föregår produktionen även om vissa grammatiska strukturer produceras innan barnet har en full förståelse för dem. Att testa språkförståelse är svårt då barnet behöver utföra någon form av handling för att visa vad det förstår. Syftet med denna studie är att jämföra två grammatiska förståelsetest, Nya SIT och TROG-2, dels resultatmässigt och dels innehållsmässigt. Sjuttiosex fyraåriga barn, enspråkiga med svenska som förstaspråk och flerspråkiga, testades med båda testen.

The aim of this paper was to contribute to knowledge about how preschool-teachers work with the development of Children?s spoken language in preschool.The study was conducted through interviews with four preschool-teachers working at the same preschool with one to five year old Children. Through the interviews I came to learn about the preschool teachers experience concerning their work with development of Children?s spoken language.The results show that the preschool teachers used pedagogical tools like songs, movements, rimes, jungles and stories in their work to develop the Children?s spoken language. They said that conflicts and exclusion among Children in a group could be a result of differences in language skills.

Information technology is increasingly used in healthcare. New methods, such as apps and computer programs and Internet-based treatments are introduced to treat various medical diagnoses. Increased demand for help in mental illness means that it is necessary to develop alternative assessment and treatments to traditional treatments that may be offered by primary care and specialist psychiatry. Government and Local Authorities and Regions (SKL) have agreed to support, and treatment on the web is part of that development. The work is all about, and how Child and Adolescent Psychiatry ( Bup ) , use psychological e- services, and apps for the treatment of adolescents and the types of psychological e-treatments for adolescents are available in Sweden today.  Methods used are interviews and literature studies, where I examined the use of computerized psychological treatments in Västernorrland and Stockholm County Council.

This scientific essay is based on four self-perceived situations that all takes place in an outdoor environment. The Children are aged seven to nine years. At least one of the Children in the groups has some type of concentration difficulties. I have combined my practical experience with literature and previous research regarding outdoor education and Children with concentration difficulties. Based on this I have tried to interpret and reflect on the opportunities and problems with outdoor education for Children with concentration difficulties, especially so called situational concentration difficulties.

All this information gives pregnant womenideas of what they can expect to experience during the pregnancy. This made me think aboutwhat kind of image, women in the past, did get from literature that described pregnancy.The purpose of this study was to examine how pregnancy and pregnant women has beendescribed in literature during the period 1940-1980. I have used various kinds of books aboutpregnancy released in: 1943, 1948, 1955, 1965,1969,1972, 1977, 1981.

I vår studie har vi undersökt eventuella skillnader i mötet mellan pedagoger och barn i traditionell respektive utomhuspedagogisk förskoleverksamhet, I Ur och Skur. Vi ville lyfta fram de eventuella skillnader som finns för att förstå om och hur verksamhetens form påverkar mötet mellan pedagoger och barn och i vilken mån barnens behov och intressen tas till vara i verksamheten. Genom vår studie vill vi även lyfta fram den eventuella betydelsen av olika verksamhetsformer för tanken om en verksamhet för alla.
