Övervikt och fetma är ett hälsoproblem bland barn och ungdomar idag och beror främst på att vårt kaloriintag är större än vår energiförbrukning. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa och sammanställa forskning som beskriver olika omvårdande insatser som främjar hälsa hos överviktiga och feta barn och ungdomar. Metoden som användes var litteraturöversikt. Elva artiklar analyserades och sammanställdes och resultatet visades genom fyra teman som benämndes; att identifiera ohälsa, att vara en vägledare, att arbeta med motivation och att stödja familjen. Resultaten visade att identifiering av barn med fetma är viktig för att barnet ska få hjälp på ett tidigt stadium.

This paper deals with stable isotope analysis on the children of the early Christian cemetery in Varnhem, Västergötland. Human bone and tooth material from the cemetery has been analysed for stable carbon, nitrogen and sulphur isotopes. The analysis showed that the diet had been homogeneous and that the children had been breastfed, with a possible exception of the child from grave 100..

AbstractThe project "Sound and Play" have been implemented in collaboration with the toy company BRIO in Malmo. The purpose of the project was to examine whether and how BRIO in the future could develop toys around sound for Toddlers.The problem formulations that would be answered after completion of the project was "How could BRIO broaden its product range with the help of audio toys?", "How can you combine toys and sounds in an interesting way for children?", "How do you create a toy with sound that is fun for the child, but not annoying for parents?". Currently BRIO only has two toys with sound in this age group.The expression of the toy was going to be a mix of classic and cool and the overall feeling of the toy was going to be explorative and arouse curiosity in the child. This feeling would be communicated through simplicity and joy.

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine health professionals´ experiences of giving advice regarding sleep to parents of infants and to perform and evaluate an intervention in the form of introducing information about the sleep of infants.Method: The study was designed as an intervention study with a qualitative approach where data was collected from two focus groups in the form of interviews. The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

Fetma och övervikt är ett stort samhällsproblem, dåförhållanden under uppväxtåren är avgörande för framtida livsstilsvanor. Därförses de som den främsta och viktigaste målgruppen för folkhälsoinsatser.Dennastudie syftar till att undersöka coachers berättelser om uppfattningar kringvad samtal för att förebygga uppkomsten av övervikt och fetma innebär.Uppsatsenbygger på en kvalitativ ansats med inspiration av berättelseforskning. Intervjuär den metod som har använts. Totalt har tre personer som arbetar som coacherinom en interventionell forskningsstudie deltagit.Resultatetvisade att utan tidigare erfarenhet inom området uppfattas mångasvårigheter i att hålla samtal som coach. Att arbeta som erfaren coach innebäratt man uppfattar studiens deltagare som mer motiverade, medvetna, kapabla tillförändring samt ser empati som väldigt betydelsefullt för samtalen ochhoppfullt på studiens effekt.

Fetma och psykisk ohälsa är två utbredda folkhälsoproblem som förutom att orsaka stor samsjuklighet, även ger stora ekonomiska förluster för samhällena. Den här systematiska litteraturstudien gjordes i syftet att undersöka eventuell förekomst av sambandet mellan fetma och psykisk ohälsa. I denna studie avses psykisk ohälsa som ångest, låg sinnesstämning och depression. Pub Med och Lib Hub användes för datainsamling. Vid urval av artiklarna var en av de huvudsakliga etiska principerna att artiklarna måste blivit granskade.

Bakgrund: Förekomsten av övervikt och fetma bland 6 till 16 år gamla svenska barn har ökat i takt med att fysisk inaktivitet har blivit allt vanligare. För att övervinna fetman måste åtgärder göras för att kunna öka den fysiska aktiviteten samt att man måste kunna förstå innerbörden med den. Syfte: Att beskriva vilken betydelse fysisk aktivitet har för svenska pojkar och flickor i grundskoleålder med övervikt och fetma. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie, där tio artiklar har granskats. Resultaten sammanfattades efter att de mest meningsfulla enheter samlats och teman valts ut utifrån dessa.

This paper is based on a study seeking answers to questions about how the judges at district courts look at mediation as a way to deal with custody and visitation disputes between parents who do not live together. The questions posed in this study are: When is a mediator appointed? What result do judges expect to mediation? What do the judges say about how a mediator should work? What are the judge?s opinions about the lawyer?s role in these cases? Finally, how do the judges define the children?s needs and how do the judges check that the solution is best for the child? The study also aims to compile theories of mediation, to create new knowledge and to possibly develop new research questions related to mediation. The study is a qualitative case study with law sociological and abductive approach. The interviewed judges all have a lot of experience in family law cases.

Bakgrund: Övervikt och fetma är den största folkhälsosjukdomen i dagens samhälle. Överviktiga patienter blir allt vanligare i hälso- och sjukvården och vårdpersonal upplever det svårt att behandla dem korrekt. Sjuksköterskor använder sig av olika strategier för att nå dessa patienter men är osäkra på hur patienterna uppfattar deras råd. Patienter med övervikt står inför allvarliga hälsorisker. Syfte: Syftet med studien är att belysa överviktiga patienters upplevelser av mötet med vården.

As the occurrence of obesity increases amongst young people, so increases the risk of more people suffering from heart failure as early as during middle age. The aim is to describe the life experiences of middle aged persons living with chronic heart failure. The literature study is based on twelve published, qualitative, and scientifically proved articles derived from MedLine and Cinahl using queries representing the subject, as well as from manual searching in ScienceDirect and LIBRIS. These articles have been analyzed from a life world perspective. Four main themes and four sub themes were identified from the articles' results.

Inledning: Prevalensen av karies och övervikt/fetma hos barn och ungdomar beskrivs kort. Syfte: Att kartlägga och analysera studier som undersökt sambandet mellan kariesprevalens och BMI hos barn och ungdomar. Följande frågeställningar ska besvaras: Finns det en korrelation mellan kariesprevalens och BMI? Har gruppen överviktiga barn och ungdomar högre kariesprevalens? Har gruppen underviktiga barn och ungdomar högre kariesprevalens? Metod: Frågeställningarna besvaras med hjälp av en systematisk litteraturöversikt. Resultat: Utav sammanställningens 28 artiklar visade 14 på samband mellan karies och BMI och lika många visade inget samband.

Swedish childcare has undergone radical changes in the last 15 to 20 years. It has evolved from kindergarten to pre-school, in other words, gone from simple childcare to an active learning environment with the child as the center. Official documents, such as the pre-school curriculum and other guide documents, define the role and work ethics of the pre-school teacher. In my thesis I argue that it is essential to have an ongoing and continuous discussion at pre-schools on the practical applications of these frameworks and ambitious goals.What do you do when you simply cannot give every child the individual time they should have according to rules and regulations? How do you stay an active and present pedagogue in today?s pre-school with large classes and heavy workloads? How do you establish a common professional work ethics within a pre-school so that all children are treated equally? In my scientific essay, I examine these issues based on a real-life situation: Ellen in the hallway.A pedagogue must continuously make balanced decisions based on rules and regulations, on life- and work experience which, in many cases, contradict each other.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the authors of Matthew and Luke describe Joseph; The main aim is to see how the picture of him is drawn in the infancy narratives of their respectiveGospels; what unites, and what distinguishes the pictures of the two evangelists' account of Joseph,as a character and as a father.With the help of both textual and grammatical criticism, this study investigates - pericope bypericope - different aspects of Joseph's participation in the infancy narratives of Matthew and Luke; his relationship to the child and the mother, the terms used to describe him, and his overall modusoperandi. This essay builds its structure upon the individual study of each pericope, with the aim of painting a general and summarized picture.From the outset of already formulated uniting characteristics of the two gospels, as stated in Raymond E Brown's The Birth of the Messiah this study proposes that more can be said about the common features of Matthew and Luke, especially concerning Joseph's both character and relationto the child. First, this study suggests that both Matthew and Luke describe Joseph as the legal father of Jesus; second, both evangelists seems to describe Joseph as observant of Jewish law andcustom.The main impression of the two evangelists' birth narratives is however the differencesconcerning the description of Joseph. This study shows that there is one major common feature: the ambivalence evident in the evangelists' way of describing Joseph. On the one hand, both Matthew and Luke prescribe Joseph some importance; Matthew by describing Joseph and letting him act,Luke by calling him father and parent.

It deals with his education, people and places that influenced and inspired Hans Hedberg in his artistic development. For example the nature in Köpmanholmen, Höga kusten, were he grew up as a child and the fact that he started as a painter. The essay analyses mainly his symbolic sculptures the Egg and the Apple-series and links it to Surrealism and Nouveau Réalisme and how other artists has worked with the Egg and Apple-theme. .

I Kimberley, Sydafrika är tonårsgraviditeter ett utbrett socialt problem. Trots detta finns det inga insatser eller program som aktivt arbetar för att reducera problemet och dess konsekvenser. Däremot är så kallade Life skills-program förekommande i staden. Programmen arbetar för att stärka ungdomars självkänsla, framtidstro och förmåga att ta hälsosamma beslut. Syftet är att utifrån deltagarnas subjektiva upplevelser av Crossroadsprogrammet ta reda på om programmet kan verka som en förebyggande insats mot tonårsgraviditeter.
