Begreppet likhet har en central roll inom kognitionsvetenskapen och är betydelsefullt för beskrivningar av flertalet kognitiva processer. I denna rapport behandlas kontexters påverkan på utfallen av likhetsjämförelser. Det har tidigare visats att hänsyn till relationslikheter i likhetsjämförelser har ett samband med tillämpandet av den kognitiva process som på engelska kallas för structural alignment. Det har dessutom visats att den utsträckning i vilken structural alignment tillämpas beror av kontextfaktorer såsom hur de objekt som jämförs presenteras. Sambandet mellan kontext och hänsyn till relationslikheter vid likhetsjämförelser behandlas i denna rapport.

Berlinmurens fall 1989 och Sovjetunionens sönderfall har lett till en mer föränderlig omvärld. Invasionshotet mot Sverige har minskat, men istället har de framtida hotbilderna blivit mer osäkra och svårförutsägbara. Förmågan att efter omvärldens skiftningar kunna anpassa och förändra volymen och kunskapen i totalförsvaret har under 1990-talet blivit ett begrepp i totalförsvarsplaneringen.Denna uppsats syftar till att beskriva den civila planeringsprocess som har genomförts och som fortfarande genomförs i syfte att anpassningsplanera det civila försvaret. Ett delsyfte har varit att studera om myndigheter och kommuner når ut med planeringen till konsumenterna dvs. allmänheten.Studien har genomförts som en fallstudie på den civila funktionen befolkningsskydd och räddningstjänst.

Having an intranet as a source for information and communication is common in most contemporary organizations. Research shows that the intranet in itself does not have an explicit area of use, and that leaves every organization to make decisions of the associated functionality on their own. At the same time the strategic opportunities that the intranet could bring get lost somewhere along the way. This means that problems regarding the strategic use of an intranet becomes apparent and may result in loss of investments for the organization. The purpose of this thesis is to identify central choices that can be used as points of discussion and help organizations to work with their intranets on a more strategic level.

The topic of this essay is the expected effects that can come during and after a mega event and how the local impact may affect the local community and the citizen. This essay concerns a forthcoming mega event, the Olympic Games that will be held in London 2012. The area that the Olympics will be held in is Stratford that is located about twenty minutes from the central of London by the underground. The Olympic Games is one of the largest mega events with its millions of visitors. The purpose of this essay is to study what is expected after the mega event has taken place in London.

The aim of the study is to make a comparison between the nursery/preschool recommendations (by the state) made in 1972 and the one used today. Here I?ve focused on the posts of looking after children vis-à-vis the educational responsibility. Also the type of education recommended in 1972 and what type of education recommended today. My questions concerns what the preschool recommendations from 1972 are and how they are viewed and applied today in the 2000nds.Since my questions has to do with ideologies regarding children, family and society I choose to do a specific form of text and content analysis called Idea and ideology analysis.In my theoretical chapter I choose two aspects central for my field of examination.

This study is a research on how dystopian features are expressed within different genres. The purpose is to discuss films that contain dystopian features in relation to genre and to examine if there are shared conventions in the films that can make dystopia a film genre on its own. The theoretical base includes genre theory and Rick Altman?s semantic/syntactic approach to film genre. Five films from different genres, all produced within the time period of 2000-2010, are analyzed with a semantic/syntactic approach to genre and then discussed in relation to dystopia and prior research.

I uppsatsen genomförs en intervjuundersökning med ett antal kommunalpolitiker. Syftet är att se hur de resonerar kring begreppet partidisciplin samt hur de och partierna löser problem som är av denna art. Katarina Barrling-Hermanssons doktorsavhandling Partikulturer kommer vara central i studien och det teoretiska resonemanget som förs baseras dels på Robert Michels Organisationer och demokrati men också andra författare är med. I intervjuundersökning deltog åtta anonyma politiker där de var och en fick svara på frågor om partidisciplin. Alla de intervjuade politikerna ansåg att det var nödvändigt med partidisciplin men meningarna gick isär något när det gällde hur stark den skulle vara.

Civilsamhället har på senare tid kommit att spela en allt större roll i biståndspolitiken. Att arbeta för att skapa eller stärka civilsamhället har fått en central roll i relation till hur bistånd ska fördelas. Men samtidigt är begreppet civilsamhälle problematiskt. Definitionerna har skiftat under årens gång och dess innehåll fortsätter att förändras.Den här studien har sin utgångspunkt i den kritiska diskursanalysen och fokuserar på hur sex publikationer på SIDA: s hemsida tar upp och berör begreppet civilsamhälle.I analysen av dessa publikationer har det framkommit att det finns tre dominerande diskurser som relateras till civilsamhället. Dessa diskurser tar upp vad civilsamhället är och hur det definieras, rollen som civilsamhället spelar eller kan spela samt hur SIDA arbetar för att stödja civilsamhället.

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibilities for children?s librarians to extend their competence in the area of reading promotion. The study is carried out within an ongoing reading promotion project directed towards small children from 0-7 years. The study aims to answer the following questions: How do children?s librarians develop new skills in a reading promotion project? How do children?s librarians view a broadening of the concept of reading and how does their approach affect which skills that are acknowledged?The study is mainly based on qualitative interviews with five children´s librarians who all participate in the project.

The construction industry in Sweden has in the past 50 years had a low progress in efficiency. With a greater competition from construction firms from other countries, it is necessary to maintain the profit for Swedish construction firms. This is possible with a higher feedback of experience. This diploma work thesis examines how the two construction companies NCC and Skanska in Uppsala, Sweden handle experience feedback from previous projects and the extent to which the experience is spread and used in future projects. In this work, we examined directorial documents to see how employees shall work with feedback.

The purpose of this essay is to study how the local creators of a "master plan" for the swedish city Kristinehamn, the years between 1940 to -43, looked on their planning. It is an analysis of ideas case study. A hypothesis is upheld for the research: that the local physical planning had largely extended ambitions what regards central state control in a way that is similar to planned economy. Questions that are asked include: Was the planning assumed to be a tool for the state to regulate the environment? Can the planning be seen as a mean to control the society in time and space? The essay search for verification of the hypothesis by a theoretical analysis apparatus made upp of ideal types.

The purpose of this study is to examine escort-business with a focus on sales of BDSM-services (Bondage and Discipline, Dominance and Submission, Sadism and Masochism). The study is based on qualitative interviews with three informants providing BDSM-services, as well as a survey with 96 men who requested domination of escorts (the survey was carried out by an escort in the 1980s). The analysis of this material resulted in the identification of three themes on which the study centers: The personal experiences of the three escorts, the interaction between the escorts and the clients, and the changes over time when it comes to the performance of BDSM-services. The study has a gender perspective with a focus on feminism and queer-theory. The important conclusions are that there are several differences between prostitution having a focus on BDSM-services and other prostitution.

Lärarutbildningen, Malmö Högskola Syftet med studien är att analysera samt försöka förstå och reda ut fyra pedagogers syn på den fria leken i förskolan. Frågeställningarna som studien utgår ifrån är: Vilken syn har fyra pedagoger på den fria leken i förskolan? Finns det möjligheter respektive hinder med den fria leken? Finns det likheter och skillnader på pedagogers syn på fri lek? Metoden innefattar individuella ostrukturerade intervjuer.
