The aim with my work is to get a deeper knowledge about the preschool's views of environmental work. I also want to examine how the preschool teachers along with the children work with the project Green Flag in the preschool. I have used structured interview with two teachers in a preschool that works with Green Flag. Green Flag is an environment certification and is an evidence on that one works daily with a document aimed environmental work along with the children. I have found out that each year they work with different themes within Green Flag.

The purpose of this essay has been to examine the public`s view of the Swedish eldercare during 2006. This study uses discourse analysis as a research method, the reference material has been articles from the newspaper Dagens Nyheter. The aim of the research has been to find central themes, conflicts and consensus in the discourse of eldercare. The analysis resulted in four main subjects which were based on four main questions; the questions of responsibility and execution, the question of contents, and the question of where the eldercare should take place. The analysis of conflicts and relations of consensus in the discourse of eldercare resulted in two different main views; the traditional and a more modern.

This is an empiric, qualitative, case study of cooperation between two public organizations in Ystad, Sweden (Försäkringskassan and Ystad kommun). The aim of the study is to illuminate why they cooperate and what happen with the idea to cooperate and the organizations when they do. The theoretical tools used are influenced by institutional theory. A translationmodel is used to illustrate what the local actors do with the idea when a decision is made to adopt it and how it affects the actors. The study suggests that the cooperation in Ystad called One Stop Shop is partly done because it's a popular way of organizing public organizations in Sweden and partly because försäkringskassan, aim to upgrade their organization identity.

Syftet med vår studie var att beskriva förskollärares arbete med att främja utvecklingen av barns kommunikation i förskolan. Vi valde att använda oss av kvalitativa intervjuer som metod. Vårt urval bestod av fyra verksamma förskollärare vid tre olika förskolor. Resultatet visar att förskollärarna arbetar med att främja barns utveckling och lärande genom att stödja och stimulera barns kommunikation på olika sätt. Förskollärarna beskriver sin egen pedagogroll som en viktig del i barns kommunikationsutveckling.

The aim of my study was to investigate a few young peoples experience of their treatment. The study was qualitative based on interviews with three young persons at the end of their treatment there. The subject was chosen because this kind of youth housing is an interesting alternative to institutional care for young people, despite there is not much known about the results of the treatment. The results were analyzed from earlier research and central concepts from the theory of empowerment and Anton Antonovskys theory about Sense of coherence. The results of this study show that these young peoples are satisfied with their treatment at the youth housing.

I vården är en bibehållen respekt för människan en viktig del. Sjuksköterskan spelar här en central roll i relationen till patienterna genom sin omvårdnad. Syftet var att belysa och undersöka vad ett respektfullt bemötande kan innebära för patienter med psykisk ohälsa och för sjuksköterskor samt vad sjuksköterskor bör tänka på i omvårdnaden av patienter med psykisk ohälsa. Metod, en litteratur studie av elva kritiskt granskade artiklar som uppfyller krav för vetenskaplighet enligt Polit m fl (2001). Resultatet redovisas utifrån ett huvudtema ? ömsesidigt förtroende - som innefattade åtta undertema som behandlade vad ett bemötande med respekt kunde innebära för patienter med psykisk ohälsa och sjuksköterskan ?vänlighet, tid, empati, delaktighet, information, sedd och hörd, förstådd och temat unik.

During the last decade working with competence has emerged as a more strategically important area. Today the human resources in a company are considered a competitive advance and the HR-units play a significant role when it comes to HR-management. Different motives for investing in strategies that promote competence development and learning also exist. The purpose of this paper was to examine how the process of competence development was managed at a large global company. The empirical material consisted of four persons who were interviewed and the analysis of the material was inspired by grounded theory.From the analysis four major themes or core factors emerged as central to the interviewed persons' understanding of the competence development process; solid preparatory work in relation to competence development, communication, awareness of responsibilities and finally the taking action and evaluation of the action.

Uppsatsen undersöker den samtida konstens gränser genom att studera hur graffiti beskrivs och behandlas inom dagens konstdiskurs. Den innehåller även en kritisk granskning och genomgång av graffitins historieskrivning.Utgångspunkten är påståenden om att den samtida konsten präglas av en öppenhet och en mångfald där vad som helst kan vara konst. Frågan som ställs är om dessa påståenden verkligen stämmer. Undersökningens resultat pekar entydigt på att så inte är fallet. Den samtida konsten framstår tvärtom som ett både socialt och diskursivt snävt avgränsat sammanhang där uteslutning är en central aspekt.

The purpose of this essay is to find out how gender upholds in a classroom, both by students as well as the teacher. The procedure has been to observe the relationship between students and also the teachers. The observations is analysed according to theories of gender and a discussion about why gender is maintained follows. The conclusion of the result is that gender is being preserved in different ways, but also the contrary ? students and the teacher oppose it.

The purpose of this BA-thesis was to study how three daily Swedish newspapers use a specific type of exemplars, which are recognized by a number of attributes. A photograph of the person that is interviewed always illustrates this type of exemplars and at least two persons are asked the same question.    The three newspapers that have been compared in this study each represent one of the major types of Swedish newspapers: morning press, tabloids and local press. By using a quantitative content analysis, one month was examined in all three newspapers in the year of 1997 and 2007.  Two of the theories that have been central in the thesis are Colin Sparks model of tabloidization, which demonstrates the process of tabloidization and McQuail?s description of commercialization.

Friskispressen, en medlemstidning för Friskis&Svettis medlemmar med ca 6 nummer per år, studeras under åren 1981-2009 med nedslag ungefär vart 5:e år för att utreda Friskis&Svettis relation till tävlingsidrotten och de samhällssyften som ligger till grund Friskis&Svettis motionsträning. Uppsatsen tar avstamp i tidigare svensk idrottshistorisk forskning, speciellt den om kritiska röster mot den svenska idrottsrörelsen av bland andra Johnny Wijk. Friskispressen visar sig tidigt ha tagit en kritisk inställning mot tävlingsidrotten så till den grad att Jympan, Friskis&Svettis främsta träningsform, framstår som speciellt utformad för attskilja sig från tävlingsidrotten och som en manifestation av idrottskritik. Senare under studieperioden avtar denna uttalade tävlingsidrottskritik och på 2000-talet förekommer flera av de centrala aspekter som Friskispressen kritiserade hos tävlingsidrotten i Friskis&Svettis samtidigt som jympan får en allt mindre central roll i Friskispressens rapportering..

This report is a qualitative interview study which central content enlightens how movement and sports effects children?s performance in school. With the help of five different teachers in three different schools questions like; how does movement effect the performance of children in school? Have been answered.Lots of research and litterateur shows that children is doing better physical and mental, the concentration level is improved and the performance in school is better when exposed to more movement, also there are less conflicts and the students gets better motor skills.Comparison with the ?Bunkefloproject? has been done, which was a project in the south of Sweden where they let the children have physical education every day and then they examined how this effected their performance in school. With this basis this report will examine the teachers view on the subject.The result shows that the teachers think that there should be more movement in the daily schedule for the children because they seam to be more happy and concentrates better after movement.

The purpose of this study is to examine how immigrants are portrayed in the Swedish daily newspapers online reporting. The essay investigates in what context immigrants, as individuals, are made visible and how they and their origins are reproduced. The study focuses on the roles victim and aggressor, and is also investigating potential differences between morning and evening newspapers.Present theories are discursive discrimination, critical discourse analysis, cultural racism, stereotypes and structural discrimination. Adopted methods are qualitative and quantitative content analysis, based on the Global Media Monitoring Project-tool.The results show that immigrants are not individually stereotyped or depicted negatively, but that their immigrant origins often have a central part of the story, that they are mentioned mainly in connection with negative news and that negatively charged words occur frequently. .

Detta examensarbete behandlar överföring av personal från ett företag till ett annat. Vikten av att hantera personalen rätt vid en outsourcingaffär är stor. Därför är det viktigt att ledningen hela tiden håller personalen informerad om vad som kommer att hända i och med outsourcingaffären.Personalen spelar en central roll i företaget då den besitter kunskap om kundföretaget. Denna kunskap kan avgöra hur bra leverantören kan sköta kundens system. Därför är det viktigt att sköta överföringen av personalen rätt, för att få nöjd personal och framförallt inte förlora personal.I mitt arbete har jag undersökt hur personalen upplever övergången till det nya företaget.

Arbetet spelar en central roll i livet för de flesta människor och vi spenderar större delen av vår vakna tid på arbetet. I denna uppsats definieras yrkesstolthet som en självupplevd känsla som gör att individen känner sig viktig och engagerad i sitt yrkesliv och i en organisation. För att förstå individens känsla av yrkesstolthet behöver ett par aspekter tas i beaktning. Undersökningsledarna har genomfört en kvantitativ studie med 122 deltagare, varav 79 kvinnor. Enkäten innehöll 25 påståenden angående yrkesstolthet, individens arbetsplatstrivsel och sociala relationer med en skala från ett till fem.
