The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate how people look at themselves and their happiness in relation to their economic situation. This study was based on interviews with eight adults divided in two groups, four were big-income earners and four were unemployed/sick-listed. I identified factors that affected the feeling of happiness such as family, friends and economy. During the process four themes were identified, happiness, work, economic strain and the importence of money versus happiness. The analysis was based on the concept of aspiration levels and an economic perspective.The conclusion of the analysis was a surprise to me, showing that economic strain could be detected in both groups but by different means.

Detta examensarbete omfattar utveckling och test av en metod för distribution av data i ett multidatabassystem. Testen av metoden har gjorts genom att den har implementerats i en fallstudie. Fallstudien berör en organisation som har behov av att integrera tre av sina databassystem. Detta för att information ska kunna utbytas mellan dessa. Integrationen av databassystemen har gjorts på ett sådant sätt att de data som distribueras från dessa skickas till en central databas, med SQL Server som databashanterare.Det verktyg som har valts att användas i examensarbetet för att lösa uppgiften är Data Transformation Services, DTS, i SQL Server..

?Facebook has become as natural as having a phone? The use of social media in three libraries in the Umeå region ? an evaluationSocial media has come to be an integral part of people?s everyday life, as well as the business world in terms of communication and marketing. More and more libraries also embark in the use of social media, and the purpose of this study is to evaluate the use of social media in three libraries in the Umeå region. The libraries all use Facebook as their current, primary social media. Thus this study focuses partly on the analysis of the content on each library?s Facebook page, and partly on the experiences of the responsible librarians. The evaluation is based on a mix of existing tools in evaluating social media that are relevant in a library context.

By controlling the strategies on a central level the company can make sure that the stores are steered in the direction that the company wants them to be steered in, and also that they follow the positioning-concept. The company can also devote its efforts to working with its core value, which is service.

This study intends to illuminate women?s experiences of their own self-harm. Self-harm is mostly associated with women and research shows that women mostly are over-represented. This study describes women?s experiences about their self-harm but also how they perceive the elements around them during their illness.

F?r att kommunikationen ska vara meningsfull beh?ver den anpassas efter barnets ?lder, mognad och individuella behov. Tidigare forskning visar dock att sjuksk?terskor ofta upplever utmaningar kopplade till tid, erfarenhet och kulturella aspekter.? Syfte? Syftet med denna litteratur?versikt var att beskriva sjuksk?terskans upplevelse av att kommunicera med barn inom slutenv?rden.? Metod? Studien genomf?rdes som en systematisk litteratur?versikt med kvalitativ ansats.

Suicidology deals a lot with taking into consideration significant symptoms, risk factors and establishing causal relationships which inevitably are very important for suicide prevention. But do we understand the suicide attempters better thereby? The aim with the study is to elucidate the meaning of the lived suicidal experience that is expressed by participants on an Internet forum. Ten participants' texts which concerned own suicidality were chosen out from this Internet forum and were analyzed and interpreted on the basis of a phenomenological hermeneutical method inspired by Ricoeur (1976). The result established twelve themes that with the aid of Heidegger (1993) and Derrida (1978, 1991) led to that the following conclusions could be drawn about the meaning of the suicidal lifeworld: suicidal concern and care in itself reduces the sense of identity, practical suicidal doing in itself reduces the world, sense of identity is more affected by the future than the present and the past, the death is escaped from through a calculating determination to have the death at one's disposal, inability to turn away from the death increases oscillating between states of emotions, the surrounding world's requirement to avoiding death becomes to a compulsion to isolate one self; and finally: to both feel anxiety in front of one self's own death and dread when escaping from it..

The purpose with this thesis is to clarify how estate agents working with their marketing and marketing strategies. Our study has occured in Kalmar and we have used five different estate agents for our collection of empiric?s data. We have worked with a qualitative methodology to achieve deeper knowledge about these five company?s which have been chosen for the study.We have selected theories that suit our subject and together with the empiric data these two parts will be compared which concludes in an analysis.

The purpose with this qualitative interview-study was to try, from the carer´s point of view, to describe the meaning and the essence of the good meeting. The participants were selectively chosen and were all women of varying life- and professional experience. They were interviewed with four interrogative forms that dealt with the experiences of the meaning and the essence of the good meeting. The analysis of the contents of the four interviews produced five themes: the meaning and the essence of aware presence in the good meeting, the meaning and the essence of the personal alliance, the carer's need of being seen and getting appreciation, the courage to bring up insulting behaviors while still preserving the relationship, personal qualities of the care. Aware presence was to be a main theme through out the meeting.

Syftet med min studie är att undersöka ett antal kommunala förskolors språkliga pedagogiska miljöer för att få kunskap om vilka metoder några pedagoger i förskolan arbetar med för att stimulera barns språk- och begreppsutveckling. Jag väljer att lägga fokus på en central frågeställning: Vad menar pedagoger med språkliga pedagogiska miljöer? I ett försök att få svar på mina frågor väljer jag att observera och samtala med yrkesverksamma pedagoger. I have examined the questions - Whats to say about school libraries in the curriculum and the library law? - Who administer the honour "School library of the year" and whats demanded to get it? - What have made the school libraries I have examined to school libraries of the year"? As theory I have used the Taxonomies of the School Library Media Program by David V. Loertscher. I have given a background to and defined the school library as a function, a room and in the teaching among others.

Dans och musik är en stor del av ungdomarnas vardag och i informationssamhället är musiken tillgänglig för alla, via internet, tv etc. När musik och dans ofta är en central aktivitet hos ungdomar och fångar deras uppmärksamhet, varför skulle det inte kunna användas i undervisningssyfte? Genom att berätta om matematikens historia sätter vi färg på den ytterligare, och gör matematiken mer levande.Matematikens och naturvetenskapens historia går längre tillbaka än civilisationens historia, men den har utvecklats sedan de första städerna har vuxit fram.

The first vampire film I ever saw was Interview with a vampire. ?I haven?t been human for two hundred years?, opened up not only the film, but a whole new world I knew nothing about. The world, as it were, opened its doors to me again after I had seen the film adaption of Stephenie Meyers Twilight.
