Magdalena Rudenschöld (born 1766, died 1823) was a woman in Swedish history, who lived a turbulent life. As a young woman she was employed at the Swedish court and got to know the king of that time, Gustaf III, and she became the mistress of one of his closest deputies, Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt. After the killing of Gustaf III, a temporary government was formed. This was a regency that was put there on behalf of Prince Gustaf Adolf, since he was not yet of age to run the country. The commission to conduct this temporary government was given to Duke Carl, who was the dead king?s brother.King Gustavus III?s former employees and Officers were after the king?s death, opposed by the temporary government, and they were moved to other assignations.

En traumatisk kris är en reaktion på en yttre händelse och omständighet. Krisen har fyra faser som de drabbade går igenom, där chockfasen är den första och slutar med nyorienteringsfasen. Studien syftar till att utifrån ett emotionssociologiskt perspektiv studera fyra kvinnliga informanters upple-velser och känslor under och efter en traumatisk kris, som består av kata-strof, dödsfall och sjukdomsdiagnos. Studien söker även svar på hur infor-manternas omgivning, i form av familj och vänner, har agerat i samband med krisen. Genom kvalitativ metod med intervjuer berättar fyra krisdrab-bade informanter om den händelse som utlöste krisen och hur de hanterade detta.

Den här studien genomfördes i Helsingborgs kommun som ett examensarbete inom livsmedelstillsynsprogrammet på Lantbruksuniversitet (SLU) i Uppsala. Idén med uppsatsen uppkom efter att författaren deltagit i ett möte på miljökontoret i Helsingborg. En kontroll som gjorts bland livsmedelsbutiker i kommunen visade att 60 % av livsmedelsbutikerna fick underkänt vid inspektioner. De områden som fick flest anmärkningar var rengöring och underhåll av lokaler och utrustning, internrevision och temperaturer i kylar och frysar. Över hälften av butikerna fick underkänt vid kontrollen vilket visar på att det uppenbarligen finns brister i egenkontrollen.

AbstractBackground: Cancer is a leading Cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths, about 13% of all deaths, in 2008. Several factors can affect patients' quality of life such as physical and psychological symptoms, relationship to people around and the environment. In palliative care professionals need to have good knowledge in order to improve patient quality of life and to give them as good a life as possible in the final stages of life.Aim: The purpose of this overview study is to describe the experiences of quality of life in patients with incurable cancer.Method: We conducted an overview study that was based on ten scientific articles. All articles are qualitative studies, from the year 1995 - 2011, and are from Sweden, Finland, UK, Canada and the USA. Qualitative analysis was used to group the various themes and subthemes for overview study purpose.

The Northern Raccoon (Procyon lotor) belongs to the Carnivore-family and is a species endemic to North America. Every year hundreds of orphaned raccoon cubs are admitted into the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRCM), a non-profit organization where all injured or orphaned wild animals are admitted and receive quality health care with the goal of being released out into the wild. The WRCM routinely vaccinate all of the admitted raccoon cubs with a killed feline panleucopenia vaccine, but despite this there are outbreaks of parvovirus infection every year where up to 50% of the admitted cubs have been euthanized or died. The objective of this study was to determine whether vaccinating the admitted raccoon kits has any significant protective effect to developing clinical parvoviral disease. A single-blinded cohort study was designed with two parallel, independent groups. One group was given a dose of killed feline parvovirus vaccine at admission, and the other group was not given any vaccination at all. Assignment to the vaccinated or unvaccinated group was on a per-litter basis and done randomly by drawing lots out of a box.

The aim was to identify if the veterinary nurse is as competent as the veterinaian in placing a nasoesophageal feeding tube. The aim was also to identify the complications with malnutrition and the advantage and disadvantage of the procedure. This essay is based on several interviews with both veterinary nurses and veterinaries. 16 persons were asked 4 short questions in conjunction with an intensive care/emergency and surgery congress in Gothenburg in February 2013. In addition 4 major hospitals that provided intensive care were asked to answer 5 more detailed questions, one answer from a veterinary and one answer from a veterinary nurse was requested.

Det krävs att sjuksköterskor har färdigheter om kommunikativa interaktioner eftersom patienter med kommunikationssvårigheter är beroende av sjuksköterskors kompetens som kommunikationspartner. Sjuksköterskor upplever detta svårt och ytterligare utbildning i kommunikationssätt kan hjälpa att främja framgångsrika kommunikativa interaktioner med patienter. Joyce Travelbees omvårdnadsteori användes som referensram eftersom mellanmänskliga relationer, kommunikation och individanpassning är centrala delar i teorin.Syfte: Var att belysa sjuksköterskors upplevelse av kommunikativa interaktioner med patienter som har afasi orsakad av stroke.Metod: En empirisk studie med en kvalitativ ansats baserad på intervjuer. Analoga brev ersätts i allt större mån av digitala e-mail och analoga tidningar samt flygblad digitaliseras eller förmedlas genom hemsidor. Många är nog ense om att detta är något positivt. Att den tekniska utvecklingen bör främjas snarare än att motverkas.

Bakgrund   Sedan mitten av 1990-talet har dödligheten av hjärtinfarkt halverats tack vare forskning kring hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar. Då flera studier visar att många patienter som överlever en hjärtinfarkt upplever lågt välbefinnande behöver dessa stöd i sin återhämtningsprocess.Syfte Syftet var att belysa betydelsefulla faktorer vid bemötandet av patienter under återhämtningsprocessen efter hjärtinfarkt, detta ur ett patientperspektiv.Metod   En litteraturstudie har gjorts utifrån tio kvalitativt vetenskapliga artiklar  hämtade från databaserna Cinahl och PubMed. Efter att kritiskt ha granskat artiklarnas resultat sammanfördes dessa i en översiktstabell. Utifrån detta identifierades återkommande nyckelord, vilka alla svarade på syftet, för att därefter sammanställas under fem kategorier.                              Resultat  De fem kategorier som framkom är: Kunskap och information, Acceptans och hanteringsstrategier, Den upplevda kroppen, Goda sociala relationer och Existentiell mening. Resultatet visar att patienter som överlevt en hjärtinfarkt är i stort behov av relevant kunskap och information, såväl verbal som skriftlig sådan.

In metabolism Mg plays an important role because it affects many cellular enzymes in the body. The energy metabolism and protein synthesis are dependent on Mg as an enzyme activator, Mg is also involved in the synthesis of RNA and DNA. Absorption of Mg primarily takes place over the ruminal epithelium in ruminants. The main storage of Mg is in the bones but that can only be reached if the cow is in great need of calcium or phosphorus, it's a hormonal regulated process that induces catabolism of bones. Free and available sources of Mg are found in soft tissues and in the extra cellular fluids that includes cerebrospinal fluids and blood.

Bakgrund: Inom den palliativa vården har möjligheten att få vårdas i hemmet ökat genom åren. Idag vet man att närstående utför betydande insatser inom vården och omsorgen och att deras insatser bedöms vara tidsmässigt mycket större än från den offentliga vården. Att vara närstående till någon som är sjuk är en upplevelse som är unik för varje enskild individ. Upplevelsen av isolering, att behöva ignorera sina egna känslor och kämpa för sin egen överlevnad kan uppstå hos de närstående som vårdar en sjuk i hemmet.Syfte: Att belysa närståendes upplevelser av palliativ hemsjukvård.Metod: En litteraturöversikt har gjorts baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar som granskats och analyserats. De databaser som använts vid artikelsökningen är Cinahl plus with Full Text, PubMed samt Medline with full text med sökorden Family, Palliative home care, Experiences och Sweden.
