"Jag vill bara gråta" - En studie av fyra krisdrabbade individers emotioner och upplevelser av en kris

En traumatisk kris är en reaktion på en yttre händelse och omständighet. Krisen
har fyra faser som de drabbade går igenom, där chockfasen är den första och
slutar med nyorienteringsfasen. Studien syftar till att utifrån ett
emotionssociologiskt perspektiv studera fyra kvinnliga informanters
upple-velser och känslor under och efter en traumatisk kris, som består av
kata-strof, dödsfall och sjukdomsdiagnos. Studien söker även svar på hur
infor-manternas omgivning, i form av familj och vänner, har agerat i samband
med krisen. Genom kvalitativ metod med intervjuer berättar fyra krisdrab-bade
informanter om den händelse som utlöste krisen och hur de hanterade detta.
Studien visar att samtliga deltagare har känslor av sorg, under både chockfasen
och fortsättningsvis under sin kris. Det finns även tecken på känsloisolering
och rollövertagande i deras hantering av krisen samt att de känner vissa
känsloregler om hur de bör bete sig under sin sorg. För samtliga, är
omgivningen är ett stort stöd och ingen av dem har på egen hand sökt
professionell hjälp för att hantera den kris de gått igenom.
A traumatic crisis is a reaction to an external event and circumstance. The
crisis has four phases which the affected go through, where the shock phase is
the first and ends with the reorientation phase. The study aims to build on, an
emotion sociological perspective, study four female informants experi-ences and
feelings during and after a traumatic crisis, which consists of dis-aster,
death and disease diagnosis. The study is also looking for answers on how
informants' surroundings, in the form of family and friends, having acted in
connection with the crisis. Through qualitative method with inter-views, four
individuals describe the event that triggered the crisis and how they handled
this. The study shows that all participants have feelings of sadness, for both
the shock phase and continue during its crisis. There are also signs of
emotional isolation and role assumption in their handling of the crisis and
that they feel some emotion rules about how they should behave during their
grief. For all them the surroundings are a great support and none of them has
independently sought professional help to deal with the
