Torsten Sylvén, född 1915 och tredje generationen konstsnickare, blev våren 2005 utnämnd till Teknologie Hedersdoktor vid Linköping universitet för sin insats att placera möbelforskning på den akademiska agendan. Handgriplig restaurering och tillverkning tillsammans med parallella studier av framförallt 1700-talets möbelkonst har lett till att Torsten Sylvén besitter exceptionella kunskaper inom möbelområdet. Detta har resulterat i ett flertal böcker samt också medverkat till att initiera en utbildning i möbelkonservering på ?Malmstens?, dvs. Carl Malmsten Centrum för Träteknik & Design vid Linköpings universitet.Från 1700-talet och framåt finns det belägg för att kända snickarmästare också sysslat med renovering av gamla möbler.

Våra respondenter arbetar på företag som jobbar med CRM. Insamlad data är analyserad med analysmetoden Well Grounded Theory. Resultat & slutsats: Vid ett värdeskapande perspektiv arbetar företagen med ett kundfokus samt en ständigt vilja att skapa förståelse för sina kunder. Studien visar att företagen poängterar vikten av att lära känna sina kunder och få dem att bli lojala, som ett sätt att skapa värde. Ledningen bör involveras och agera föredömligt vid implementeringen av CRM och på så sätt skapa goda förutsättningar. Förslag till vidare forskning: Något som varit återkommande under studiens gång från respondenterna har varit engagemang och acceptans vid implementeringen av CRM.

Methodology: E-mails were sent out to 6 different companies with a proposition for participation. Of those companies that gave a positive answer the most suited company for the diploma work was selected. Thereafter, a contact was established through telephone with the CEO of the chosen company and relevant questions to him were formulated. The second time of contact the first interview was held and half of the questions were answered.

I aim to describe how they use file sharing, their knowledge about it, how their usage have changed due to the new copyright law, what their stands are on the question of resource control and management on the Internet, and what they think of the future of file sharing.Material/Method: The method being used is a qualitative focus group interview model, used to investigate how young people look at the subject of file sharing. The results of the interviews is then applied to a theoretical framework based on thoughts of Denis McQuail, Lawrence Lessig concerning creativity, copyright, resource management and file sharing on the InternetMain Results: My conclusion is that the widespread file sharing habits of young people is not only caused by the temptation of getting free stuff, but of the lack of commercial and legal alternatives. Youths are willing to pay for media if the distribution is superior to the illegal file sharing alternative. They are a generation of young people that has grown up in a society where the tendency in many fields has been to make everything faster and more effective.

METHODOLOGY: Our paper is based on secondary data, focused on historical spot prices on Brent oil and stock indices from Sweden and UK. We construct dummy variables to register positive and negative disturbances in the oil price. Furthermore we try to find a relation between the price disturbances and the different stock indices. THEORY: We take off from earlier studies, which prove that there is a relation between oil prices and stock markets.

Denna rapport handlar om en användbarhetsutvärdering av synthesizern OP-1, utvecklad av företaget Teenage Engineering. Studien är kvalitativ och undersöker bara den omedelbara användarupplevelsen av produkten. Rapporten baseras på resultat från ett antal användbarhetstester, utförda på företaget i fråga. Användbarhetstesterna avser att undersöka hur en användare kan förstå hur OP-1:s kan användas och hur de kan förstår dess olika lägen och vidare på vilket sätt detta påverkar den initiala användarupplevelsen.Totalt nio av fjorton tillfrågade personer har ingått i användbarhetstesterna. Urvalsgruppen bestod av personer med tidigare, dock varierande mängd, erfarenhet av synthesizers.

Studies of networks, fields and of communicative circulations complement each other. This master thesis is a biographical study of an author and journalist, Gustaf Montgomery GM, his network in Sweden of the early 19th century, and a study of his authorship and literary career. The starting-point of the study is GM:s change of field from the conservative to the liberal in 1832. The aim is to give explanations to this change and to describe how the change in turn effected the network. The method used is critical of sources.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om företeelsen mobbning sedd ur olika perspektiv. Mobbning är dock ett stort område, och en problematisk term att förklara. En anledning till det är det kan ta sig uttryck på så många olika sätt. Därför kan man säga att uppsatsen består av två delar. What are the messages?The essay is based on a comparing analyze, the stories are especially analyzed by Sabry Hafez? theories about the modern Arabic short story. Interviews with the two writers have been made.

Syftet med denna studie var att belysa de situationer i förskolan där barn tar eller ges tillfälle till reflektion kring känslor samt hur detta kan möjliggöra eller hindra utvecklingen av emotionell kompetens. Vi har tagit utgångspunkt i det sociokulturella perspektivet samt inspirerats av en etnografisk metodansats. För att uppnå syftet använde vi oss av videoobservation för att fånga olika situationer i vardagen. Vi filmade tre dagar i förskolan, två dagar lades fokus på samtal mellan barn och en dag mellan barn och pedagoger. Den insamlade empirin analyserades med stöd av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resultatet presenterades varvat med våra tolkningar av empirin.

The aim of this study has been to try to understand the meaning of dikaiosuvnh qeou` in Rom 3:21-26, and how man receives this righteousness.The study has two main parts. The first part is a study of Greek terms and words, where the following terms are examined: First the iJlavskomai word group, and especially the word iJlasthvrion. Secondly the words divkaio" and dikaiosuvnh. Thirdly the word novmo" and fourthly the words pisteuvw and pivsti". The final term examined is ajpoluvtrwsi".

The drama of Kristina Lugn?s Kvinnorna vid Svansjön (The women by the Swan Lake) takes place in the dialogue and language; the same ambiguous language that is found in Lugn?s poetry. In this essay I examine how meaning and dramatic tension is created in the dialogue of Kvinnorna vid Svansjön.I describe the play, using concepts from various drama theories. However, the most important concepts of classical drama theory such as "story" and "plot" are not really applicable. This is because of the contradictory information given in the dialogue.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to investigate issues concerning librarians? view on three genres, (a) popular literature for women, (b) popular literature for men and (c) erotic literature, when choosing what to buy for their libraries. A qualitative method has been used and the empery consists of seven qualitative interviews with altogether eight librarians involved in choosing and buying literature. The theoretical framework is built on theories regarding concepts of hegemony and cultural hegemony; the male sex as norm; taste culture and quality. The results show that three of the libraries in the study have a written purchase policy and that the policies that exist are very general.

The aim of the study has been to explore what participation and hope means for persons with disabilities living in an institution called Horizon House, in Stellenbosch South Africa. The aim has also been to discover the South African approach to disability and how Horizon House fits into this approach. Horizon House is an institution and a protective workplace in Stellenbosch for adults whose main impairment is of an intellectual nature but there are also physical and emotional disabilities. Another aim has been to explore the perspectives of the residents. The research questions of the study are: ? What does participation imply for the residents of Horizon House?? What does Hope represent for the residents of Horizon House?? What importance can hope have for people with disabilities, in their approach towards increased participation? We travelled to South Africa during a two week period in March 2009, where we participated at the protective workplace of Horizon House.
