Prior research in human bird relations is relatively small and discussion about bird ecology in relation to humans is largely not discussed. The study means to understand how a difference in usage of birds and symbolization of a bird occurs. This will be answered through analysis of two bird species. The study uses three different sources of material to conclude its answers. The sources are graves with bones of predatory birds, material culture representing bird motifs and historical sources discussing mythology.

The purpose of this qualitative case study is to explain and discover how a Swedish commune works with their external crisis communication during a large crisis. The case study revolved around a simulation exercise with Mjölby commune that was and organized by the company VSL Systems AB. The study addresses the difficulties that arise within the crisis communication, and shows witch factors that are important to consider, when you are responsible for an entire community.Our result shows that the relationship with media could be utilized in a better way and both parties could benefit from cooperation. The commune could have used varied communication channels to create more effective crisis communication which had reached a bigger group of people. Introduktion: MR-undersökning är en högteknologisk undersökningsmetod som blivit allt mer värdefull vid diagnostisering av olika patologiska förändringar, särskilt i mjukdelarna. Trots att MR-undersökning är en bra modalitet kan den vara förknippad med oro och ångest hos en del patienter. Syfte: att belysa hur röntgensjuksköterskan kan stödja oroliga patienter som genomgår MR-undersökning. Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på Fribergs modell har valts för detta examensarbete. Litteraturöversikten bygger på 12 artiklar som tagits fram via databaserna Cinahl, PubMed och Scopus.

This thesis examines the National Heritage Board in Sweden and the way they look upon themselves, the surrounding world and their mission. Methodologically it?s a discourse analysis based on poststructuralist and social constructionist thoughts. This means, simplified, that nothing is taken for granted and that power relations and ideology always matters. There is no true or distinct heritage.

The study seeks to from professionals perspectives describe and analyze the beliefs they have about women with intellectual disabilities and their pregnancy and motherhood. We will also discuss and reflect on the possible support that professionals find important for women to handle pregnancy and motherhood. The information has been gathered through interviews with five different professions that have come in contact with the audience in their work. In our material we found three distinctive perspectives: a child´s perspective, a parent´s perspective and a community perspective. From these perspectives, we could find many similarities in the informants´ perceptions, which resulted in different themes.

Purpose: To examine if the management of the public sector organization Sida actively work with how to motivate their employees. We also examine which factors of motivation dominate amongst the employees.Method: A case study with a qualitative approach was conducted, using semi structured interviews and a survey to gather data. By connecting motivation theories with collected data, we analysed the results to find similarities, differences and relations between them.Theory: The study is based on motivation theories and other contributing research.Conclusions: The study shows that management actively work with how to motivate their employees. But the employees are not aware of how management work with motivation. The majority of the motivation factors are highly valued, but the dominating factors are personal growth, stimulating work assignments and the ability to know the results of their work..

Att arbeta som distriktssköterska innebär att utöva en akademisk profession med ett fördjupat ansvar för att leda och utveckla omvårdnaden inom primärvården. En av distriktsköterskans arbetsuppgifter är att möta olika patienter. Varje möte är unikt. Målet för dessa möten är att kunna erbjuda bra och tillförlitlig vård, att bygga en relation mellan distriktssköterskan och patienten. Syftet med studien var att belysa distriktsköterskors erfarenheter av vårdande och icke vårdande möten.

Bakgrund: Att få diagnosen bröstcancer sätter hela tillvaron på spel, särskilt för ungakvinnor i fertil ålder, då de ofta befinner sig i en komplex livssituation. Syfte: Syftet meddenna studie är att beskriva sjuksköterskors erfarenheter och upplevelser av vad som ärviktigt i omvårdnaden av unga kvinnor som drabbats av bröstcancer. Metod: Kvalitativmetod med halvstrukturerade forskningsintervjuer, enligt Kvale och Brinkmann haranvänts. De transkriberade intervjuerna har analyserats med kodning, meningskoncentreringoch meningstolkning. Resultat: Omvårdnaden av unga kvinnor med bröstcancer skiljer siginte från andra patientgrupper.

Bakgrund: Nightingales idé om vårdande som ett kall för kvinnor är en milstolpe inom sjuksköterskeprofessionen. Innan Nightingale hade män haft en betydande roll i vården men idag representerar manliga sjuksköterskor enbart cirka 10 procent av sjuksköterskorna i Sverige. Eriksson beskriver att människan i grunden är en vårdare samt vikten av den vårdande relationen. Det finns dock upplevelser hos patienter att manliga sjuksköterskor inte lämpar sig att vårda och de föredrar vård från en kvinnlig sjuksköterska. Connells teori om att maskulinitet är kopplat till den manliga kroppen genererar en bild av mannen som stark, känslokall och aggressiv.Syfte: Att beskriva manliga sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda.Metod: Allmän litteraturöversikt av tio vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat: Tre teman skapades; Förhållningssätt i vårdandet, beröring och intimvård samt manlighet och vårdande.

This paper examines, through questionnaire, how young students in upper secondary school in Malmo experience social integration. It also contain what they think should be done in order to improve the integration between youth that are ethnic Swedish and youth that have a foreign background. To understand the subject we started with a review over Swedish integration politic and its influence over Malmo and social integration in the country. We have used such theoretical starting points as identity and ethnicity in relations to the social surroundings, social affinity theory and flexible mindedness, making of groups among youth and factors to promote social integration. Our conclusion is that the experience of social integration between the two groups depends on how you experience yourself.

One of the bigger national diseases that belongs to the field of rheumatology is rheumatoid arthritis and it is three to four times more usual among women. The purpose of this study was to describe female patients' experience of living with rheumatoid arthritis. The method, was a review of the literature with eight articles accomplished the criteria for scientific quality done in the accordance to Polit, Beck & Hungler (2001) and are the bases to the conclusions of this study. The result shows five main themes and ten sub themes that illuminate the female patient's experience of living with rheumatoid arthritis. The main themes are: a) the pain, b) the development, c) the relation, d) the well-being and e) the future.

The object of this study is the female user of amphetamines and the characteristica which she is often described by. Many of these descriptions regard the female amphetamine user's sexuality which also have come to form the assumption that these women make a living from having sexual relations with men in exchange of drugs.In order to be able to draw any kind of conclusions regarding this, we found it necessary to investigate how the stereotypical female user of amphetamines makes a living and also whether it is possible for a female drug user to decide for her self how to support her habit.The disposition is a qualitative study of literature and the perspectives that we focused on in this study are gender roles, relationships and sexuality, criminality and finally the drug using woman as a victim. The purpose of this thesis is to map out and investigate how the banking sector affects a customer?s willingness to change bank, and what the switching costs are for a customer when making these changes.
